Agreed, unfortunately, lots of people I see using magnum tend to use a heavy hull and camp, Though I've seen some people effectively use it on a mobile hull as well. Anyways, since wolverine said that magnum would fire behind a defensive bunker I assumed he meant the magnum is camping. In that scenario, I just said that I would be more effective using shaft than trying to hit targets with my intuition (camping magnum).

In my thoughts I believe that shaft is much easier to use than magnum. While using Magnum, you always have to predict or assume the position of the enemy which makes it harder. Shaft users just play tanki like a point and click adventure ?

Anyone else think that when both hunters activate their ODs and one stuns the other before the other one can, the stunned hunter in mid OD doesn't get its od completely reset? I think that it should leave the other stunned hunter's od at about 50% or more. -

You should use guns that can 1 shot easily like rail and shaft and gauss. I remember using gauss (pre nerf) with the humongous splash damage which was arguably op at the time but despite the nerf, at your rank you can easily tap the double damage and vaporize poor lower rank players. Overall try to exploit which turret is stronger cuz when you rank up there will be a meta shift. For example, when I was using the firebird compact tanks alt at a relatively low rank, I was virtually un stoppable but at higher ranks, almost everyone has the flame immunity augment so I had 2 switch. Anyways gl mate I hope you get to legend soon ?

To get good mm I usually would play in the mornings and would not go past mid afternoon. This is because there are usually more people online making mm more flexible. I don't know but it works for me since in the morning when i leave a battle with overpowered people, I get put in a better one with weaker people. At night, It usually just keeps putting me with 9000+ gs players. Anyways, that just a quick word of advice, nothing serious.

completely agreed. rugby, assault and ctf give people with hopper hulls a big advantage. Also not to mention that catching gold boxes with hopper is way easier.....

Ohh, so I think the main balance change is that the hornet od will have a unique overdrive since not every hull and turret can replicate the ap status effect. Overall, I think the balance would be slightly better since though the od is powerful, the massive downside is that it only takes effect when you can see someone unblocked by obstacles. In my opinion, I guess that's balance. With the ap augments removed, from now on, I could march into battle and be confident that when my overdrive is fully loaded, someone on the other team doesn't have the ability to completely counter and render it useless. Though the ability of seeing people through walls is a very good one, since tanki is a relatively faster paced game in higher ranks, I don't see much use since anyone with a more powerful gs can just come up to you and destroy you. I know that sounds bias but (lets just say most people are overpowered at legend ?). Also don't forget that the ability of seeing through walls can be very helpful for other teammates like shaft users etc. As in other turrets and hulls, I think more people will benefit when ap augments are removed

I meant that before they activate the od, you can hide from the ap status effect lol (like hide from their field of view before they activate)

Well i dont really know how to help exactly but my word of advice is that you should consistently check your current kd score by pressing tab in the battle. Shaft is a really , really good choice when it comes to kd so using that would be the best way to go i think. Also, try to pick the longer range maps cuz you would do super well in those ?

So Berlin has kind of been a tough map for me lately and I'm trying to see why. For instance, here is a position (On the red side I believe) that I have been finding pretty advantageous in the few games I've played on Berlin: This spot lets anyone with a long range turret shoot down upon the enemy (who are relatively open since low cover) , and also proves to be annoying since I also find myself out in the open against people who abuse this position with magnum, railgun or gauss. Any thoughts on this position? I'm sure other people might have the same problem. Any info about this map is welcome cuz I'm just trying to see new ways for a better experience.

Well, wot blitz doesn't suck, its just the fact that wot blitz and tanki are two completely different games (and their mechanics are different). I usually play wot blitz when I feel slightly more competitive and I usually play tanki when I want to relax .

Yeah, now there's stun, emp, and ap rounds which put the hunter's od and hornet's od to shame. What is the purpose of an od if almost all other turrets can copy its effect and basically all hulls have an option of being able to resist that effect?

Absolutely, giving turrets the ability to destroy armor(ap status) is kinda the wrong move in my opinion. Though the hornet od was very powerful pre ap, i think that it should be an effect unique to the hull.

OMG i know him. Hes the guy who streams wot blitz ?. Tho i don't agree with him calling this the worst tank game. Tanki was the first game i played (like first, first) and i have so much respect for it. Its just that the declining player base might of pushed the devs into expanding on the pay to win side of the game rather than other parts...
