The answer is very simple, Tanki have very old and outdated graphics by today's standards and that's why they update all turrets and hulls to "HD" quality.

I agree! but it doesn't have to be as complex as in Tanki X. Simple animation of a box that falls apart into several parts will be just fine and much more realistic than the current animation.

New bonus box design 10/10 “reusing” and “heavily inspired” are two completely different terms. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

I guess they will completely remove equipment change and replace it with presets, which is a more appropriate and easier solution to the problem.
