Wasp HD is the best looking HD skin to date. I noticed one thing, a few weeks ago developers added a “glowing shader” to the tanks, but they haven’t implemented that feature yet. Wasp HD LEDs now glow in the dark.

Did you just compare TO to V? Really? FYI some textures and assets are more detailed than assets in Tanki X New graphics is beyond “good enough”, and more than enough for a browser game

1. I guess they will add an option to disable 3D trees 2. Tanki X had option in the settings to set desired saturation value, I think it's a good idea to add it to TO as well. (I prefer a more saturated look) 3. The map has not been optimized yet. If I am correct, None of the 3D objects have LOD's and you can't turn off 3D bushes in settings.

In TO "ray tracing" is cheap, they just need to bake the lighting to the texture, and the downside is that the lighting is static, but in the case of TO its completely acceptable. They already did that 10 years ago;
