That is true. However, in a MM battle, the difference between a player with a drone maxed out and you, without a drone is a massacre. Check out the stats of a defender drone maxed out. Currently, on a hornet, vulcan, this combo can drive through your entire team and get 30+ kills in a MM match. Now imagine, going against a team of these players.

I just got off a TDM in serpuhov. Our team started off well with a lead, maybe 2 minutes into the game. Somehow, Leia.As.Regras joined on the other side with that dreaded hornet vulcan. It wasn't even close at the finish with that spectrum module and defender drone. I went through the profiles of every single player on both sides. Only one player made it a lobsided finish. Is it OP? Yes And yes, we know what a cover is and we know about modules.

You can still participate in most MM and camp for kills. A good DL ratio will let you score well, win or lose. I would avoid TDM if possible.

How do you propose to measure a player's skills? Currently, score is mostly based on kills and how efficient you are at doing so, especially on the losing side.

As a form of self preservation or protest, leaving is the most powerful thing a player can do.

It is good that you're spotting these things but do it early in the match. Even at the highest level, legends will have problems against a skilled player with GS of 9999, let alone at your level. #1 Now, look at the score of your team from the screen dump and tell us if you should have left the match right away or stay. #2 You think this is bad. Think about going up against a team of players with max GS like that. It happens. #3 Don't try to get even with skills. Good luck and leave early next time.?

OK, thanks, I just added another rule for MM. If the other side has 3 or more hornet and hunter, then don't use a titan. I didn't include mammoth because it is much harder for a mammoth to get close to you.

I find the html 5 version better. It doesn't have some features. However, the flash version has a lot of stability and security issues. Perhaps you can try on another computer and see if that helps.

Anything that favors wasp or hornet give players with good core skills a bigger advantage. With the defender drone, these hulls are already a nightmare.

OD gives everyone including f2p players a chance to be OP once or twice in a match. Drones is another matter as batteries greatly favor a certain group of players.

If you are f2p, you need to accept that p2w players need to get something for their $. Yes, they will have a battle advantage and pick up way more crystals. Can your team in MM beat them in a battle? Yes, occasionally. That is all you can ask for.

At your rank (legend), most players will power up almost the instant they spawn. You should have a good number of everything except health packs and batteries. I usually just play the daily MM matches on my main account and conserve the 2 aforementioned items. Press tab and see who is playing. You can usually tell within a minute after entering MM whether to stay or leave. If your team is too weak right out of the gate, leave. No amount of drugging will help.

I wonder how many casual players or beginners realize this ?. To keep up your ranking at the very top, you need to play only on special events like with 2x funds.

Unfortunately, the current hornet OD + vulcan + drone combo has made them into the OP twins of years ago. Fearless and in your face, long range and short range...and no effective defense against it.

Freeze was OP maybe a year or two ago and it was nerfed. Firebird was nerfed not too long ago too. And yes, most freeze players have good core skills (driving + turning turret). Right now, it is the hornet + vulcan + drone combo that is OP if you're into that. Yes, hornet + rail combo requires a ton of skills to hit something. However, there are too many variables at play to make it totally effective, (e.g.lag, map topography, long load time, people bumping into you, wasp with speed boost, the need to get behind a wall for reload) For these reasons, I usually don't like too many of them on my side for MM (cp, ctf, rugby, assault, siege).

You've got crystals and $ so play with whatever you like. But seriously, I find that stock turrets are already pretty good when you enter a MM battle not knowing the map. The only thing I have time to change for MM is turret first and then protection second. If you have time to go all the way down to changing alteration too, then go wild.

We want you to progress up the ranks in tanki and meet you at the legends level. If you keep doing what you're doing, at some point along your journey, you'll quit tanki or complain about buyers. Good luck and keep working those extra fingers.

OK, some of us are stirring up the hornet+rail camper debate. I have said my piece. Yes, you do need skills to use rail to hit something, no debate there. However, if I see 2 or more rail guns on my side in ctf, cp, siege, rugby and assault, I'll most likely leave the battle.

With the current reward system, winning and losing is not as important. In some ways, it is good for f2p players. Kills are important so make sure you are competitive in that department. If your team is getting slaughtered early on, leave. It will most likely, not end well. Isidas and dictators can also gain points without kills so if you want to use those, you can. Don't go for flags or points if your teammates are camping for kills.

Yes, hornet's OD needs a nerf. However, a hornet + rail combo is not that good for cp, ctf, rugby and siege.Why? Have you seen hornet+rail players cap points consistently in a match? Have you seen hornet+rail players cap a flag/return a flag? Have you seen hornet+rail players carry the ball in rugby? Most hornet+rail players are after one thing, kills and I can kind of live with that. Even the best hornet + rail players cannot shoot accurately 100% of the time. Hornet + rail + wall go together. Hornet + vulcan, though, is another matter. Enjoy your hornet OD for now.

My observation is a combination of hornet's OD (long duration) + DD + vulcan + a special drone (booster, hyperion or defender) that is causing all this now. Currently, there is no defense I am aware of that can counter this effectively. It is hard to get close to a hornet with mammoth, hunter or wasp to activate the OD. Viking can take it out with OD but you will be lucky to activate a viking's OD twice in a game. That leaves your own team's hornets to balance things out. And yes, you do need good core skills to use hornets to be OP currently so I am not as mad.

Short battles are good for the f2p players. With long battles, there were some issues. (a) Technical difficulties causing you to lose your rewards. (b) Rage quitting when an OP player shows up and steals the pot. (c) Some missions based on finishing a battle type is possible now even on the lobsided losing side.

That is so true. Imagine playing against someone with unlimited supplies activated all the time. There are players with well over 100K health packs used.

I agree that despite the current inequities, the game is less P2W today than the past. Unfortunately, there are overpowered players at every level even at the legends level. For MM, you have to be careful about staying in matches where it is one sided. That requires a bit of work on your part. The current beast right now is those hornets so watch out for those with high GS. Even top 50 players can lose. I know because in the past, it would be impossible to knock off somebody like boris4311. Yet, I have gone against him and with him in MM and know that the impossible is possible today. Mind you, a P2W player will still win most of the time. Good luck everyone.
