why there is inequality between kits for cry and tankcoins
foxer_XXX replied to IMPERIAL_PANDA in Archive
But have you seen that they are trying to change this? There are countless topics that are getting players to input their input (is that right?) so that the Developers can take all the constructive feedback and consider it into the game. I could go on and on about how Tanki is trying to get players to be happy again. I would go on and write another long paragraph on this topic, but I'm on mobile and my hand(s) still hurt from the last one I did about 5-10 minutes ago :x - sorry, but good luck with stuffs ? -
I am no Moderator, but I can still answer your question(s) and point(s) to the best of my abilities. I have had many conversations about this topic, siding with the more logical side (or at least what seemed to be the more logical side at the time). Currently, there are many complaints that are similar to this premise of an argument you have above, but saying things like "I have to say to all developer that this game will die soon if you dont balance this issue." will not really help you, it kind of makes it look like you are attacking the Developers... Not something one would want to do. And to answer your question (quite clearly stated in uppercase letters), yes, you can - just play harder (but nicer), play often, and play like you need those crystals. And yes, playing with a strategy helps a lot - just because everyone else (at least a great majority of the player base) has lost their strategy skills, doesn't mean you can't re-introduce strategy by using it yourself. It's a team effort. Once your team sees some strategy that actually works, they try to contribute by copying or adding to that strategy, which eventually beats all those enemies using those so-called "drugs" (I will henceforth call them supplies, as drugs is not a very nice word to use). Also, Tanki still is a game of skill - just some players (or most) have forgotten this, adapting to the commonly used way of winning matches. If you use strategy, and I mean a working strategy, and you are consistent - you will find success. I used to be one of the bottom players in battles, but then I found a combo that worked for me, and then found a nice strategy that worked with it - now I get in the higher median of the players, and if I'm lucky I get to the top 3. Just keep trying strategies, playing styles, and all that, and then find the best ones that fit you - and you'll do much better. Also, don't buy supplies - I never do. There are supply boxes for a reason, and buying supplies will only result in the buying of more supplies, because supplies don't last forever - but kits do (except when there are special circumstances, or your account is deleted, or something like that). I hope this answers all your questions, spoken and thought, for the current time being. If not, we'll be here to discuss it! Good luck on the battlefield ?

You obviously didn't read the rest of my post... "Buyers, however, skip most of the enjoyable parts of the game but just going to the top without working for it..." Because of this, a buyers strategy is just use power ups and charge in, nothing really special. Also, the challenge part - games are good because they bring specific challenges, and if you are a buyer then there's no challenge, because you have nothing to work for.
-
Ah yes, a misinterpretation made by many. Yes, Tankoins from containers are kind of low, and yes a lot of things do need to be bought... But have you ever considered the fact that there are non-buyers who beat buyers with gear, play style and strategy? Although buyers get good gear, strategy will always beat it. Now, players who don't buy actually get more experience with the game because then they can try different aspects of the game that buyers couldn't... But they still end up with a full Mk7+ garage, even though it takes a little longer. Buyers, however, skip most of the enjoyable parts of the game, but just going to the top without working for it... One enjoyable part of the game is a challenge. No, not the monthly challenge you get rewards from, if you were wondering. I mean a real challenge - an obstacle that gets in your way and you have to really try hard to fix and resolve it. Buyers don't have that opportunity, partly because they themselves are commonly the obstacles. I mean, the game would get kind of boring if you knew the outcome of a battle before joining it, you would probably have a better time guessing the outcomes of battles rather then playing them. That's all I have on that topic, below is what I want to see added to the game; I would like longer MM battles, higher gold drop rates, more MM maps, higher Crystal rewards from ranking up depending on the available equipment in the garage for said rank, either the reduce of Tankoins prices in the shop or the increase of the reward of Tankoins, more Crystals after completing battles, and a chance of a nickname change from containers, because paying 20 USD kind of gets annoying, especially with a name like mine (I know it's bad, I was really young when I made this account and I didn't know what that meant)... All that would be awesome, however there probably will be people contradicting me... If so, let's look for a win-win solution! Also, thank you Developers, for your efforts to make us players happy and not make this game P2W (at least not anymore) - keep it up! ?

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

Yep, but how many more mysteries are there? That's a good question to ask -

Currently I am happy with the game, because I got angry at it for giving me lower tear weapons then I should have had after the modification update, but then I realized I miss interpreted the level of my turret, and now I'm fine on the terms with the game (my terms, not the games terms) -

Heh I keep going back and forth on this game, hopefully I can choose a side - hopefully the side that does things for the better, if you get what I mean -
This is the reason why online tanki became a P2W game and the community is getting smaller and smaller.

No, I am telling you it was Mk4 after the update. -

This may be true for some cases, but you are completely right. However, there are some who may not think this... But generally I would agree with you. Also if I lost my job for stating the truth then I would need to find a better job. One of the only reasons I stay active in this community is because I want to be a Helper... But it's useless if I'm ignored or contradicted by the Administrators and other Helpers all the time ? -

Another thing I'm quite angry about is has the modification update changed everything - it based your upgrade by the upgrades on the weapon, not the modification you used to have. I had a M2 Ricochet with 3-4 upgrades, and now it's Mk4. My brother had a M1 Ricochet with 10 upgrades, and it became M5 - I mean, mine was better until the update. So you are telling me that a recruit with a M0 fully upgrade would get a better turret then someone with a M2 with no upgrades? That's just absurd. -

And guess what - I just checked the new missions topic in News and Announcements, and one if these "special missions" was "Get Premium" - I mean, what the heck? That is so much proof that they just want money. I don't even understand what happened to create such a horrible ego and greed in the hearts of the Devs... It's so sad, and makes me angry at the same time. I try not to get angry, but it's really hard when I see something like the "Get Premium" mission. They are literally encouraging you to buy. They say "You'll get rewards from these missions" but you're rewarding them more then them rewarding you. Just so angry... -

I have to agree to the P2W theory of this game, even though it hurts me to do so. When I started playing this game, I couldn't stop. But as said before, it has it's ups and downs, even then. But it just got worse after that. Every new update added something new that required money, or something was added that was purely exotic and doesn't really improve your skills, and that still cost money. I mean, for example, $99.99 dollars for a XT skin and 100,000 crystals sounds like one of the biggest rip offs I've ever heard of. It I had $99 I wouldn't go waste it on a game like this, at least not anymore. To get any benefit from this game you have to buy, no question about it. With every new update there is something else that need money to get. Look at Tankoins, for example. You need them to buy kits, but they are expensive. Now, there's nothing wrong with this, except for the fact that I used to be able to get a lot for $26 (approximately) but now I have to spend double that price on Tankoins to get that kit. It's just really, really horrible greed on behalf of the Developers. That is the real reason, @Maf, that players leave this game - because they don't want to waste their money on a lost cause, and because they would be a lost cause without buying. When Tanki 2.0 comes out I hope they don't make the same mistakes. Tanki would have to go back so far to fix all the harm they've done. The way their going, Tanki is just going to end up right where Tanki X did, so the Devs are just trying to get as much money as they can from people before they disappear. And when they do, good riddance. I don't even know why I even bother playing this game. -
About time too, that was kind of annoying when it didn't work - thanks for fixing it!
-
They do listen - it's just a matter of who they listen to, and who they ignore. Because although a lot of people give criticism and nonsense, that can very much seem like it's reasonable and valid... All one would have to do is misinterpret something that was said and then they go down the wrong path.
-
That I can agree with - however the problem is that most of it is criticism, not constructive criticism - or feedback, if you will. And then as you said they can be just nonsense, or as you put it, stupid, and I think that the Devs do make poor decisions - they need to be able to determine the nonsense and reasonable comments for themselves, otherwise this game will land exactly where Tanki X did... Which isn't something we want. Like @DieselPlatinum said, "I really think the devs could make this game great again. They just need to start ignoring the cryers that complain that the game is P2W. And start listening to actual reasonable players." - I think that is a valid point, as I said earlier, the Devs need to determine for themselves the difference between nonsense and reasonable comments.
-
And if you really think that they are making bad and poor updates, then why do you even bother playing, much less talk about it - if you are admitting to the game being a waste of time, then why waste your time yourself?
-
But as I said, they are just trying to do what you ask of them, but you ask so many crazy things and change what you want on a regular basis that what you did want is what they implemented, but you don't necessarily want it anymore, so you think they are making bad updates, but they wouldn't have been considered bad if you got the update just a tad bit earlier.
-
I have very mixed views about Tanki Online... Awhile back, I loved the game, and then it started degrading with all the updates. Now people are saying "All the Devs just want money, so their making updates that make the game more pay to win." (or something like that). But, I just realized awhile back, that it's not as bad as it seems - I mean, when criticism or negative comments come from players to the game, it's these huge paragraphs of points after points after points... When most of them don't even check out what's actually going on. You know how everyone complained about the Module update? Well I'm quite happy about it - and here's why: Before the update, I didn't have the Gauss turret, and getting the M2 at the time was around 70-90k crystals. I only had around 40k. After the update, however, I could go all the way to Mk3 before running out of crystals - which tells you something. It means that players are so used to bad updates, and bad gameplay, that when they here of an update they all comment something negative - they don't even test it for themselves. And anything positive that is said will be rejected and refuted by those players. A lot of them just say something negative because a lot of other people do, which is a fallacy - called the Ad populum fallacy - and it literally means "To the people". That's also something you see in modern society as a whole. It's essentially "All of them are doing it, so we're going to do it too. Because if so many of them are doing it, it couldn't be wrong, could it?" And therefore Tanki Online gets so many false and negative comments, that it is looked upon badly by its players, even though there is goodness and a good purpose in the true heart of the games updates. Now, some of you will be thinking "Yes - that purpose is to take our money and to suck us dry! All these updates are making it (the game) a money sucker." However, do any of you actually know why they make updates? Well, the simple answer is to make you happy. But then again, a lot of you are saying it's making you sadder, or even angrier. But, they get their ideas from you - they all look at what you want, what you've been posting, and trying to do it to the best of their abilities. However, you guys are so mixed up and just saying so many random things now that the Devs are really having a hard time keeping up - first it's this, then two days later you want the opposite - and the Devs are just going back and forth and back and forth... And you all blame it on the Devs, when really it's just you who brings everything crashing down. That's really all I can say, because everything else that is to be said is something that I cannot be said by me, because it's not in my place to say it. Good luck to you all, and have a great and happy rest of the year!

I'm on edge because it's been degrading... When I first played this game back in 2014 (or thereabouts) I loved this game - but as time moved on, the game slowly but surely started to degrade... And still is degrading. I could go on and on about why and how, but I've done that too many times... It's just a waste of energy to do that. I still play from time to time, but it really doesn't change... More of something I play to pass time, and stuff like that. However, I still love the game enough to want to be a Helper... That's probably one of the main reasons I even bother trying to be active in the community, or just be part of the community at all. But, my hopes for that kind of faded away when I realized that I had almost no hope of becoming a Helper... And just because of my age and rank (at least that's all I know of). But I haven't given up yet, and I don't intend to any time soon... I just hope Tanki Online doesn't go down the same path Tanki X went down. -
Ok, now I'm confused. Previously, I had a M2 Vulcan that had about 2-3 upgrades, and now is an Mk 4. My brother, had a M1 Ricochet fully upgraded (at the time it wasn't as good as mine), and now he has a Mk 5 Ricochet. There's something wrong here. And if there isn't, are you implying that a fully upgraded M0 turret would become a higher modification than a M3 with no upgrades? Because that's just wrong. I saved a whole ton of crystals (not literally) so that when I became the right rank, I could just buy the next modification, because it's a waste of time and crystals to buy upgrades... It's much cheaper to just buy the modification. And now are you telling me I did that for nothing? That's just... Well, really sucky. I'm just kind of sad, I guess you could say. Saving up gives no advantage, apparently. Guess I'll just have to work harder to save up... ?
-
M2 Ricochet is the equivalent to M1 Ricochet I believe, I mean I'm a 2nd Lieutenant and I have M4s, it's the new update. Mk7 is the new best module
-
That pretty much seems like it... I haven't even checked my account yet, but I'm not so sure I want to, because I know that I will probably be disappointed in some way or the other ? why couldn't Tanki just listen to its players, then updates wouldn't be so bad... Neither would the game be so bad, as a whole, like it once used to be...
