    Let's Discuss Supplies!

I'm probably a few steps away from being called a compulsive druggie..... xD

    Tanki Thinking Challenge

Well, don't forget to take into account that Thinking Challenge is only for us while 'The Game' is also played by Russians which, to be honest, makes for an extreme challenge. Going by my experience, I'd say the top 100 positions are filled within 15-20 min (if it's too difficult, maybe half an hour).

Hey Guys! Long time no see.

Easy there, guys... We don't want any bans/warnings being thrown about.
  4. I'm all for loving a robot... There's many advantages to it: 1. They won't disappoint you. 2. You can't hurt them. 3. They'll be straight forward in communication.

Name your favorite hull and gun

Yes, you don't have to tell me the meaning of either words. I can vouch for the fact that the title is Soul not Sole.

Both. There are Chat Moderators as well as Game violation moderators .

They usually don't announce their presence with trumpets and drumroll and confetti, so it's understandable if you don't see them. Chat mods, in particular, are extremely active (It's one of their job requirements, so if they don't remain active, they'll lose their moderator status). Think of it like the police force in your town. I'm sure you don't see them everyday but that doesn't mean that they're not doing anything.

Hey Guys! Long time no see.

Yeah... You were one of the guys who was suggested to be a mod in, 'Who do you think will qualify for TO staff?' topic.... :D... Welcome back.

Let's talk about honor in tanki online

As for that issue specifically, there is no rule which prevents a player from capturing a flag you brought to the base if you were killed in the process by an enemy. This tends to happen a lot in the lower ranks and no one is at fault really. As you start to understand the game ethics and decency, it's just natural to let a guy who put in so much hardwork in brining the flag, capture it. Some do, some don't. As for me, I don't care who captures the flag as long as someone does. Also, do remember that if you bring the flag almost to the base, you'll get a lot of points even when someone else captures it. So, just keep your decent behaviour even when others don't for karma always wins. ;)

I can pretty much understand why the first case was a complete misunderstanding. Perhaps the way you told in chat to 'Let you cap the flag' was misinterpreted by him as you giving him permission to cap the flag and that's why he said 'Thank You'. I do this all the time (brining the flag to the base and letting one of the defenders capture it) so I can see how this case could be misunderstood. All in all, a simple misunderstanding and nothing more. As for the second case, I would be a hypocrite if I blamed the guy who drove into you. I am guilty of driving into my teammates more times than I would care to admit. Of course, most of the time, it's unintentional. It's almost like walking straight into someone in a corridor even when you could see them coming. But him not letting you clap the flag, yeah... That was sabotage. It's against the rule and if you had taken a video of it, he could have got the punishment he deserves.

If you're talking about the Whole sale garage discounts, you'll find more information in this topic . To summarise it, Having 3 M1 turrets will give you a 10% discount on other M1 turrets (and same for M2/M3). Having 6 will give a 20% discount and having 9 will give a 30% discount. The same applies to hulls except discounts are given on buying 2/4/6 Hulls.

Come again.... You searched the whole forum and didn't find anything mentioning the word 'Parkour'?

    Too high ranks

Um.. Hello there. I'm a non-buyer and as you can see, until a few days ago I was a Major and honestly, I've never had the problem you described. Of course, I face players who buy M3 kits and drug a lot, but they are easy to avoid. I currently own 6 M2's (4 turrets + 2 hulls), all Mu'ed significantly and about 3k of each drug. Considering I'm a non buyer, I'd consider that a pretty successful career till now. Just make sure you don't land up against compulsive druggers, keep saving your crystals and you'll be good to go. ;)

Um... Technically we are not fighting. We are just presenting our perspectives about the matter whilst trying not to turn this into a blame game and flame war.

Well, I was beaten up thousands of times as a kid and although that does mean that I don't dare to do anything wrong, it definitely doesn't mean I didn't wander off and do mischievous stuff as a kid... :p

OK, one more rant: STOP BLAMING THE PARENTS! You can't put the whole load on them! Have you ever actually tried taking care of a kid? I have taken care of two sisters and a brother right from when they were infants to 5-6 years of age. I can personally guarantee you that it's nowhere near easy! Even if you keep drinking red bulls all day, they'll still manage to slip under your nose and do something mischievous. They are kids! That's their job! No one can be blamed here! If any of you can come forward and claim that you have never been a victim of carelessness or negligence, you are welcome to blame the parents. You can't blame a human for having a human weakness. Also, all of you here (like every other human in history) are judging actions by consequence which is utterly wrong! Just imagine if this kid had wandered off and found a bomb and saved hundreds of life. Would these parents then receive praise for their negligence? How in the world can you blame someone just because they made a mistake every human makes for the only reason that their mistake led to far more serious consequences? For this very reason I refuse to blame the parents alone. The guilt of this action has to be borne by the shoulders of entire humankind and not just the scapegoats. (Cause we need to blame someone and the parents were the most obvious choice, right? Oh nice.. Those are the criminals... Now our egos are satisfied and we can go on like nothing ever happened).
  23. I'm not sure about the answer, but according to me, it's all about psychology of the players. Even though all hulls are nearly same (armour wise), the psych of players to target lighter hulls first takes over. That explains why some players refuse to attack an obviously damaged mammoth and go after a newly spawned Hornet. In XP/BP format, Hull armour is same but psych remains.
  24. Flipping is extremely tough unless there are many players in a battle (4vs4 or higher). In a solo or tandem XP/BP match on relatively flat maps like Sandbox, BP has a distinct advantage over XP in terms of speed. In CTF, speed has huge importance(Armour doesn't matter much since all hulls can be destroyed in two direct hits). In extreme terms, think about an M3 BP vs M2 XP. In most cases this battle will be almost one sided. M3 XP vs M2 XP won't be nearly as much difficult. (I'm saying this from personal experience so don't get mad if your view differs) All in all, as long as the battle isn't pure XP or pure BP, there wil always be some sort of rants about unfairness.
