i'm able to reproduce the ramp self-destruct bug on the privately created maps. My test scenarios were conducted on Stadium MM, Stadium, Aleksandrovsk and Silence maps. These are my findings: 1. For both Hornet and Wasp without a drone, if you have a speed boost and can gain maximum speed and hit a ramp of about 45 degrees, you will self destruct. 2. The clearest result is if you used Wasp and Crisis or Trickster drone with a Speed Boost + a runway to gain maximum speed + a 45 degree slope. 2. Lower gradient slopes at 30 degrees don't produce the same result. 4. Lastly, Hopper seems to be exempted from this unusual behaviour. I can put on Hopper with Crisis or Trickster drone and i can sail over the same with no issue. My guess conclusion is that the code does not permit speeds of around 11.50 x 1.4 (speed boost) = 16.1 and above on a ramp of 45 degrees for all hulls with exception to Hoppers since Hornet is the slower hull of maximum speed 11.5.

yeeah Hopper is slower than wasp and hornet. i got to do a more thorough test to see what has changed in the game code=)

No drones. The special event forbade the use of drones. But you will definitely see it if you activate speed boost before hitting the ramp. You just need to accelerate towards the ramp with speed boost on OR if you are going at maximum speed (without speed boost) towards the ramp. Well, we just accepted this as part of the game (lol) but i had to pay extra attention to slow down mounting the ramp=)

i can confirm this bug to be true. In the special map on Stadium, if you activate speed boost and head towards the ramp, you will self-destruct on the ramp. I died so many times there and so did many others while trying to catch gold.

@numericable i'm of the opinion that Revenge also had their fair share of unlucky moments. For example, @1:55:30 during Round 7, papageorge lagged out and was asked by the referee to leave at a critical moment - that was when Revenge's flag got taken. All Banguins did was take the flag and stroll back to their base (without nitro and without opposition). @2:04:22 during Round 8, Krause also lagged out and left at a critical moment where again Banguins just took the flag without opposition. Both these rounds because of the lagging out cost Revenge 2 matches but they still pulled through.

Would definitely agree with you but i think if they gave 12K tankoins, everyone would be able to get that 4th module slot which i know is not in the interest of the developers. I would propose 120 tankoins because it is not enough to break the economy but good enough to make majority happy.

Coming back to that great question you asked @RIDDLER_8, agree somehow that this year's birthday celebration was not as fun as last year. What was GOOD - the 12 notes game. The "SECRET" party and the nice free containers we got across 3 or 4 days. What I didn't like - 1. The special maps. It was kind of predictable since everyone had the same hull and weapon - imagine playing the same configuration across 3 days. 2. The free stuff....think last year was better. I don't know why the devs even bothered to give 12 free crystals when the SHOP already gives 200 free crystals every 12 hours. So that part was laughable. Mines, Speed Boosts - we already get a TON of these from containers. Why do they give us more of these? For a birthday celebration, i felt they should just give SOLID GIFTS throughout the celebration. The good free ones were 12 tankoins, 12 Containers and 12 Ultra Containers. But other than that, the rest were very forgettable. Why not give 1200 crystals? Or 12 hours of Premium? Or just 120 Double Armour and Double Damage Or 12 Coin Boxes....it doesn't cost that much to give this amount for a birthday celebration.
