Based on what i have read, i think 2016 was the tail end of the golden era of tanki for F2P players. I believe the business model has shifted since then. Anyway, i was surprised that you are upset and still here. Below you can see my entire clan where everyone has left but funny thing is they will login every now and then and ask me why am i still playing this game. Even the Supreme Commander that paid for the Clan and for other stuff before has left completely already. the only 2 active accounts belong to me. ? My chats with fellow clan members:

Most of these came in the last 3 to 6 months and yes, it is accelerating. Agree on all your listed items. All of them sank my heart. Honestly, i don't see much incentive for the players who just join the game. The odds against them are stacked heavily. So the devs will have to work on that part for sure. What held back these significant changes from happening faster was the migration of the game from Flash to HTML5. After the cross to HTML5 was successful, it was very clear to me that they were going to accelerate the pace of making the game more P2W.

Yes honest feedback should be given. The irony about players saying the game is trash now are that they are still playing. Those that considered it to be trash wouldn't even be here.

yups understand. But think about it. when MM came, the devs were more than happy to sacrifice that large substantial chunk of F2P players. so they will keep tinkering the levels to see how much they can push the boundaries. Every company does that.

Wolverine848, Lambsauce and Antillis.. your sentiments of anger, i can totally empathise. Honestly, after watching vlog 300, my heart sank again ref the impending update to the Challenge. Objectively, i think being upset with the devs for moving this game in the direction of a P2W is futile. After all, it is Alternativa's bottom-line and/or profits that will affect them. Objectively too i see people willing to pay huge amounts of $ to upgrade their tanks. This is a signal to the devs that they are doing something right. (The key indicator is the tank fund giveaway that is happening now) Channeling this negative energy at the devs won't help. i'm a F2P player inspired by the likes of Riddler_8 (=) trying to see how long I can last not paying. To my paying tanki friends, its not that i can't afford, i'm just wired differently. The walls are closing in and i've accepted that this is happening and will continue to happen. Perhaps you just need some time to cool off and calm down. Honestly, when MM first launched, i was extremely upset with the devs because MM destroyed communities of friends that i had built up with over pre-MM tanki era. And just like you, I ranted at devs because i lost a ton of online friends. So the remaining few of us playing here for free should just go with the flow and accept that there will be a time to say that we are thankful for the great time and its time to move on (when that time comes). This I feel we must accept as a plausible possibility in the future if we stay F2P.

i think they'll only release it during Tanki's birthday which is in 3 weeks time.

imagine being able to combine auto-cannon and cryo/paralyse or adrenaline with cryo/paralyse...that would be one powerful combination if they decide to allow double augments.
