Just like any game mode, certain turrets always do better. It's like using freeze for CTF or shaft for TDM.

Basically DM, but instead of kills, you are ranked based on the sum total of damage you deal to enemies within the match. Would be interesting to see a mode with light hulls as the better tier, repair kits as being a disadvantage, and kill-stealing not a thing

My games are ending at 0:03, and I see in my battles that a lot of other people are also unable to control their tank in the final few seconds of the match. However, there are some other players who continue to control their tank and be able to kill opponents in the final few seconds of the match. Why is this?

You were the chosen one! You were supposed to destroy the Sith! Not join them!

Is it possible to learn this power?

valid Kill still given if the enemy self-destructs
sensei_tanker replied to sensei_tanker in Ideas and Suggestions
I think I'm beginning to understand the basis of Diesel's argument here. I think he's viewing this like it's a DM, where if you splash and kill yourself, you would lose a kill - and with the addition of this idea, then your opponent would also gain a kill, meaning you will be double penalized. I'm mostly viewing this in the team game mode context (I thought that was made obvious by default, but I guess not) simply because all but one of the modes are team modes and I usually only play team modes. That said, I think this idea (or the assist compromise) would absolutely make sense in team modes. I think I saw earlier that Diesel said that a kill shouldn't be taken away for the person who self-destructs if we were to implement this idea and I'm perfectly happy with this suggestion for DM modes.- 87 replies

valid Kill still given if the enemy self-destructs
sensei_tanker replied to sensei_tanker in Ideas and Suggestions
I shouldn't be penalized for using the most effective strategy. It's like getting an F on a test even though you got all questions correct because a fellow classmate didn't show up to take the test on the same day. It has nothing to do with the other player's behalf, it's all about whether the player gets what he or she deserves.- 87 replies

valid Kill still given if the enemy self-destructs
sensei_tanker replied to sensei_tanker in Ideas and Suggestions
I completely forgot about making this topic. I guess my brain hasn't developed in over 2 years xD I'm accepting this as a solid compromise if I can't persuade others to make it the full kill. One of the most effective strategies at fighting splash turrets is to rush them. I'm trying to win, but I shouldn't be penalized for using an effective strategy by making me lose points. Anyways, it isn't my fault if they kill themselves (by accident or on purpose) and the player shouldn't be punished for this either ways. I think it's fair that if someone self-destructs, I get credit for it (or at least an assist)- 87 replies

Simple. Thunder kills himself (on purpose or by accident), I get my exp for making his/her self-Destruction possible. It's not fair if I spend effort trying to kill a thunder user and then they just kill themselves. Same applies to all self-damaging weapons.- 87 replies

Stop flexing your paints... it makes me sad when a captain has a better paint garage than me, a legend.

Assault Maps Where the Blue Team's Base is in the Center/On a Raised Platform
sensei_tanker replied to HappyFace in Archive
Assault was never meant for all maps. In fact, it was only meant for ONE map in the entire game, which was the Christmas map like 4 years ago (damn, time flies by really fast) -

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
sensei_tanker replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Because the cow is about to run dry soon. They better milk it while they can. -
well... what's something u want? Maybe a new fun map? Adjustable gravity mechanics? Weather in TO?

The devs should honestly avoid all controversial updates at this point and make an update that all the players actually want or would enjoy.

I think when it comes to shooter games, I think games set in modern times are more appealing than futuristic games. Sure, there are games like Halo but if you look at COD, World at War, Black Ops, and Modern Warfare (the most popular ones) were all set within 100 years ago while the least popular ones (like infinite warfare) are set in the future. Simply put, there are so many futuristic games and Tanki doesn't really embody that futuristic theme that well (like COD). I feel disconnected from the game when its futuristic, like it's sort of out of touch... It's hard to explain. I think this is where Tanki X went especially wrong. I think the average gamer isn't looking for flashy mechanics like overdrive.

I think participating a decent amount in the war, playing and completing missions everyday would be enough for a player to afford 5 or 6 combos.

I would rage quit a lot of Smoky was allowed to land like 3 straight criticals on me.

This topic is mostly centered around the gaming experience when there is still rank progression (so not high ranks). At high ranks, everyone has OP gear and reasonably do. At lower ranks, I think the experience would be better if players were presented an actual challenge. Right now, the only thing stopping a new player from reaching Legend is time and 1.6 million exp points.

I come back to the game and find that my Warrant Officer second account has 5 M2s from some weird MK update. Sales, discounts, and events has lost all thrill because there are simply so many and the game so easy. I kept playing this game because it presented me a challenge, and I felt some value in reaching the highest rank. Now, anyone can complete the garage with an overwhelming amount of crystals leftover and everyone has like 99999999 drugs at their disposal. It's like printing more money: the more money you print, the less money is worth. Sure, the devs are looking at a slim playerbase, but their current measures of making the game easier haven't helped at all - if anything, it drives away older players. Make the game harder. Make it like 2012, where if you don't spend any money on the game, you can afford only like 2 combos.

This is the reason why online tanki became a P2W game and the community is getting smaller and smaller.
sensei_tanker replied to flaw03 in Archive
The game is more generous than ever... it's legit handing out free crystals for all players because of such a high crystal-earning rate for all players. If you can't manage your crystals today, you wouldn't have made it back 5 years ago. -
I think after TX shut down, the employees from TX are once again working for TO and that's why the game looks like TX.
