Topic: Talks about the supplies' names being so inconsistent with each other. Everyone: "My favorite supply is..."

Using Mk7 Freeze when you have Mk6 Isida is basically multing. But yes, I also used Isida back when it was Mk6 and it's damage was balanced. Then I got the Mk7 and became a beast.

Took me a while to figure it all out. Turret rotation was easy. Supplies were easy to figure out how to activate, but.... I didn't use supplies because it was too hard due to the 1-5 keys being so far from my z and x keys and such. Every time I wanted to use it, I would stop my tank, look down on my keyboard and find the key I wanted to press. It wasn't till after a year when I started to change the keys and rework everything so that using supplies won't ruin my overall performance in battles. Also it depends on the age of the player. I honestly didn't get "good" at Tanki till 3 years later when I was 15 and I had learned how to use and type on a keyboard properly. I'm also basing it off my brother's experiences. I know, but unless you immediately get addicted to Tanki when playing it, you'll probably just be a casual player and play only like 1 or 2 battles a day or only a few hours each week. And new players don't know about the wiki at all, so they don't look up the game mechanics much. It's also not like they have the time to do it either. Tanki is new to them and isn't that much of a thing on their priority list. yeah, but like you said, you shouldn't base everyone's experiences off yours. Considering it took me 2 years to figure out everything, I'd say the average time is 1 month of playing. What if you use up all 3 free repair kits and you get another one of those missions?? Yeah, we all know what CTF is... BUT.....it's really hard to capture a flag, especially for a new player. Even having just one buyer or one of two veteran players on the enemy team will absolutely prevent the new player from capturing. AND they have to compete against their own teammates. And if one of their teammates is a buyer that can survive the enemy team's newbies, than that buyer will most likely hoard all the flags for themselves. yeah but if their enemies have full supplies, it's gonna be super hard to destroy them. I have no idea what you are talking about. Now you're claiming I said things that in reality, I never said. I said that mission is hard for new players to finish. I said it "sucks". I didn't say a newbie could finish it faster. You should pay more attention when you're reading. Exactly. it proves my point - "new" players have a hard time using supplies or they don't use it. But, the few players who buy or know how to use the supplies will be extremely overpowered if they can do 100% damage and have 50% resistance against 90% of the other players who don't use them. Yes but a team of 3 veterans will beat a team of 8 newbies. The veterans can abuse Magnum, they can hide-and-shoot with Railgun, Thunder, Smoky, etc, they can circle-strafe with Freeze, and the veterans will be getting free kills with Striker cause new players don't know that you're supposed to run from the double barreled turret with it's laser pointed at you. And lets not forget overdrives. New players don't use overdrive as frequently. Veteran players do. Dying slower helps us capture more points, gives us a better chance to capture flags and balls without being one-shot by a random Gauss with 100% double damage. It also allows short-ranged turrets better chances to reach their targets against a field of snipers and it gives the people a better chance to defend against a short-ranged turret if the enemy ambushes them from behind. Also the frustration of constantly being one-shot by someone 10 seconds after you respawn is reduced. M2 players won't lose 50% of their supply. My idea is to have the supplies GRADUALLY upgrade as you rank up. So it will go like, 50% - 60% - 70% - 80% - 90% - 100% or something like that. So the M2 players would have supplies at around 75% effectiveness or so. Anyways, weaker supplies mean the small portion of M2 non-druggers die slower against M2 buyers than they would today. Actually... At low-ranks, protections are much weaker. And the weaker protections mean supplies are much stronger at low ranks. So to compensate, supplies should also be weaker at low ranks and protections will help protect against the strong supplies at high ranks when the protections are nearing or at 50%. So you're saying it's better to die 5 seconds after you respawn? It's better to just camp in your team's base cause going out will just be instant-death? I'd rather go down with a fight lol. A real battle that forces my enemy to actually use skill and/or struggle to take me out. Wow you're saying false info now lol. I never said those things. I never wanted to slow down the current hull and turret speeds. I wanted to nerf the supplies so we don't die as fast. Speed is much much much different than attack and armor. Hull speeds have nothing to do with this. I'm not to be honest. I'm not overestimating. It's based on what I saw on around around 5 new accounts in 2020 and 2021. Speed-Ups are literally throwing excess crystals down the drain anyway to be honest. Shouldn't affect the gameplay for most players much. You can even spend those leftover crystals on other things like extra protection modules, rather than speeding up. Or instead of speeding up, you can spend the extra crystals on Micro-Upgrades when they're at full price. So you don't have to wait 2-4 weeks for a sale to Micro-Upgrades. It wouldn't be pointless. Weaker supplies at lower ranks will closen the power gap between players that use supplies and those that don't. After all, many people complain that Tanki is too focused on supplies nowadays, so making the supplies weaker will reduce your dependability on such supplies. At high ranks, it doesn't matter as much cause you get access to the "good" drones and the high-level modules to help increase your defense. FunFact: Unless you don't manage your crystals and upgrades wisely, than everyone in a given battle has relatively the same level of strength on their equipment (excluding drones and the augments, cause they're super unbalanced). Only reasons why a guy with Mk5 is put with Mk7 is because of horrible matchmaking, or if a Legend randomly decides to use his Mk5 equipment in battle. So a double armor on an Mk1 Hunter will give them essentially 1500 extra health, compared to 3000 extra health at Mk7 But, it doesn't matter at all cause the Mk1 Hunter will most likely be facing other Mk1 Hunters and equipments. This is only true is 100% of the players use supplies... or if 100% of the players DON'T use supplies. Otherwise, the 50% of players that use supplies will absolutely wipe out the 50% of players that don't use or don't have supplies. And these percentages change based on the rank, I'm just giving an example with the 50% so don't claim I said something I didn't mean to say. Since we always had 50% armor and 100% damage supplies since 2009.... The game at high ranks will always stay the same. But by reducing the effects at low ranks, it will slow down the game for newer players. I agree, not everyone is 17 years old in Tanki.

Why use Cyclone when this thing locks on 25% faster? XD #SecretChangesSuck

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
I know it's good. I prefer the "Alterations" more then the "Augments". But it's bad that half of the so-called "augments" aren't even upgrades. Meaning you practically wasted 245,000 crystals on something like RIcochet's Plasma-Torch if a few weeks later, you get Super Smart Minus Field, which is arguably much, much, much better as it's a true upgrade. -
@TheCongoSpider I finally realized you sent me a friend request XD

It was perfect when it shot two missiles to be honest. -
Yeah, I know. But as long as tanki puts those special missions in the game, it will always have a dot. Probably because the devs want to say something like "Reminder: You have special missions you can do".
-
This is new to me.
-
It may because you have some "Special Missions" avaliable. Even if you don't complete any of those, I believe the red dot still appears to inform you about the limited time special missions.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Exactly XD And the sad thing is, around half the so-called "Augments" are still "Alterations" today. Meaning, since they didn't buff stuff like Shock Freeze to be a "true augment", as in a "True upgrade", it's still an "Alteration" and will have a relatively hard time fighting against Freeze users who are using "true Augments", such as Adrenaline, which have no downsides and are "true upgrades". So there's literally three separate tiers of turret Augments, regarding their power. We have the S-Tier Augments which have no downsides and are direct upgrades. An example of this is Armor Piercing Core for Magnum. And all the Adrenaline Augments. We have the A-Tier Augments which have very..... "negligible" downsides and still count as direct upgrades. A good example of this is EMP Gauss. It has "downsides", but those do nothing at all to nerfing the Augment. Same with the new Vampire Isida. No one cares about a healing nerf if default Isida itself isn't that good at healing anyway. And then we have the F-Tier Augments. These augments are by far my favorite because most of them were the OG Alterations from 2016-2018 and thus they are literally still just "Alterations" because the developers never bothered to buff them to become "Augments", aka, "Upgrades". A good example would be most of Firebird, Striker, and Smoky's Augments. Yes, even the new Smoky Augments are relatively F-Tier because they aren't 100% upgrades, especially Paralyzing Rounds with it's massive 50% nerf to critical chance AND damage :D. Which is why they are awesome. You can still use the default version of the turret because the default version is basically a jack of all trades compared to it's Alterations. No need to spend 245,000 crystals here. -
Hull Augments, unnecessary status effect turret augments, critical damage for all turrets, EMP effect (Only Hunter's Overdrive can keep it), AP Effect (it should get reworked into an "Armor-Weakening" effect) Shards, stars in missions, challenges, the new Smoky Alterations, HD Skins Turn turret Augments back into turret "Alterations" Nerf Hammer's clip reload And High Capacity Ammo Clip needs a drawback. Nerf Isida's damage And Vampire Nanobots NERF GAUSS Nerf Magnum Nerf Shaft Revert Railgun to it's original pre-critical damage state. Revert Striker to it's original pre-critical damage state. Rename Striker's AP and Stunning Missile Alterations. Make the module slots 100% free. Balance the drones Remove batteries Make all drones NOT consume extra supplies. Rework "Adrenaline" to "Mk9" for the turrets. (I'm gonna post a topic about this in the near-future) Increase Tankcoin rewards. Get rid of Ultra Containers. Everything is now stuffed into the normal container. Make Alterations cheap again. Also make all alterations available for purchase by crystals. Price reduction for modules, because of the need to buy a fourth module to truly max out a combo. Nerf ALL overdrives so we can't die so easily from them now.
-
Actually, I saw this type of hack multiple times before. It's mainly used with Hopper, but once I saw a Railgun-Wasp use it too.
-
So basically copy the code used for Magnum's Mortar Alteration but speed up the projectile speed and make the initial projectile impact do no damage? XD
-
The Spectrum Paint should've given it's wearer a 50% damage resistance to all turrets. The Assault Drone should've had its effects greatly boosted when used in Assault Mode. Striker's Missile Launcher "Hunter" should've increased it's salvo to fire four missiles when used with the Hunter hull. Using Freeze XT on a Mammoth hull should've doubled the Mammoth's health. The Thunderball paint should've given Thunder a ricocheting ability when worn with the turret.
-
From now on, I will refer to AP Missiles as the Hornet alt and Stunning Missile as the Electra alt.
-
Actually this is exactly how I thought the game was like back in 2018 lol. 2018 was arguably the best time to play the game.
-
I hope it has tracks and is a medium hull named "Overlord".
-
Don't go for it lol. What's worse than wasting 5000 tankcoins on a single slot is wasting 5000 tanckoins on a single slot only to find out a year later, the price was reduced to 1000 tankcoins or the slot is being given away for free in some random contest or special mission.
-
Actually, you're right XD I wish they did lol. Other games I play tend to revert updates if a majority of the community dislike it. Nope. They didn't revert that either lol. They removed Alterations from the garage and they replaced them with Augments that cost a whopping 245,000 crystals each. Old Trickster was more F2P lol. New one consumes extra speed boosts. Even if people don't use speeds that often and have an adequate amount to use, it's still kinda a rip-off either way. They should nerf the maximum speed effect down to like, only 50% instead of the 70% we have now. And then also remove the consuming extra speeds boosts feature.
-
Because the mines can't be spawned on other players. Only on map obstacles. Hovertank steps on mines because some engineer was dumb enough to add a magnet on the hull, like @Ironmantonystark said. If the dumb engineer didn't put a random magnet on the hull, the hover hulls could've been roaming around the maps freely, immune to all mines. But nah, the engineer had to ruin everyone's fun.
-
More like.... Firebird + Ares + Camper + Incendiary Mix (or Compact Fuel Tanks if all the enemies have Heat Immunity) If they don't have heat immunity, use Incendiary Mix to have the worst combo.

My crush confessed her feelings to me and I still reply to her. Will you answer @Byber.Butthucont's question that is above this post?

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
It's basically just an alteration of the freezing effect, in most games besides Tanki that is. Reduces movement and reload by 100% Much shorter duration than freezing/slowdown debuffs But obviously, Tanki's stunning effect is ruined because some stuns last near or well over 4 seconds, which is the maximum the freezing effect can do. -
They should revert the update lol. Make trickster go back to what it was before. In exchange, release a new drone that does what new trickster does now - boost the speed boost. That way, F2P players have the original Trickster as a viable option to earn battle score for the "Finish in the top 3 of the winning team" missions. And if they don't wanna consume extra speed boosts, they don't have to with OG Trickster.
