It's actually not that overpowered. If you simply hide behind obstacles, you'll mitigate much of the Autocannon's damage potential. Which is why default Smoky is better than Autocannon when fighting enemies that like to hide behind cover. You get more value out of the few shots you manage to land.
-
I know, but I'd rather have a Shaft waste it's supercharge shot rather than an Autocannon Smoky being a much better Viking's Overdrive.
-
In my opinion..... The "Supercharge" effect should only effect the next shot. Meaning you only have one shot (or tick for Firebird, Freeze, and Isida) where it has a 100% chance of being a critical hit. After firing that one supercharged shot, the effect goes away.
-
BRUH I FORGOT ISIDA HAS A CRITICAL HEAL!!! Seriously, with Supercharge, an Isida can heal a Juggernaut to full health almost instantly! As well as it's teammates.
-
If I was the lead developer, I would delete these Augments.... And give everyone 5,000 tankcoins for every augment they previously owned.
-
So Autocannon Smoky having a 100% critical hit chance for 10 seconds or so is balanced?
-
It's mainly annoying when used with the rapid-fire alterations for Smoky and Railgun, as they are the two turrets whose critical hits do more damage than normal hits. Essentially, when Supercharged, Smoky's Autocannon and Railgun's Scout will do non-stop critical hit after critical hit for period of time.
-
Then why don't we just delete/nerf those effects? For example, when I wanted a stun effect back in 2017, I only thought it would be like a small 0.5 or 1 second stun, where it would just shortly halt turret and hull movement and reload. Not this "drop flags/rugby balls" thing we have nowadays. (And I originally hoped the stun effect would be introduced via a brand new turret....not by an overdrive for a hull that's been in the game for a decade already)
-
How about turning the Hull Augments to "Hull Alterations"? For example, with Heat Immunity, it will grant you 100% resistance to the burning effect.... But in exchange, when you use Heat Immunity, enemies that inflict freezing effects (opposite of burning) will inflict a more severe version of the effect (like, say, 50% longer freeze duration and/or 50% increased movement slowdown rate)
-
Probably cause one of the recent challenges gave away Magnum AP for free.... Oh, and I believe the challenge BEFORE the aforementioned challenge also gave away Magnum Mortar for free..... (Free, meaning you only pay 500 tankcoins for the pass).

AGRREEEEED

Lol before Heat Immunity, the 300 DPS burn was a big, big, big pain for all Vulcan users.
-
Actually, in certain games I played, a toxic/poison effect is very similar to the ORIGINAL burning effect we had before October 2018 - where the damage per second gradually changes over time. Basically if Tanki's burning does 300, 300, 300, 300, etc.... A toxic effect would do 300, 290, 280, 270, 260, 250, etc... Or it even does it like this sometimes: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc.... (basically it applies an increasing damage over time effect)
-
Actually..... Autocannon Smoky + Dictator.
-
I don't know..... Wouldn't just simply increasing the battle fund AND reducing the number of kills required for certain missions be way better? As it achieves the same goal, AND players won't get so frustrated that they die so quickly?
-
So everyone dying faster in battles is a good thing?

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

True But every time a drone consumes more supplies than normal, it's further discouraging a f2p person from using it. -

Not gonna help much if Buyers tend to have near-infinite supplies to spend. -
What if Hull Augments were Removed - Good or Bad?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in What if Hull Augments were Removed - Good or Bad? Archive
This is not an idea or suggestion, it's merely to discuss what would happen if Hull Augments were removed. Pros of Removing Hull Augments (My Opinion) Vulcan no longer has infinite ammo. No more Incendiary Band abusing. Firebird is actually good again. The game is no longer determined by luck/chance, as battle outcomes will no longer be determined by the fact whether or not your enemy has a direct counter to your special weapon. (AP Immunity to Hornet Overdrive, EMP Immunity to Gauss EMP, Heat Immunity to Firebird) Players who cannot afford Hull Augments will now be closer in strength to those who once owned Hull Augments. Better chances of getting other types of loot from containers, as 80-something Hull Augments will be removed from containers. All weapons will be effective. Firebird and Freeze will no longer be prejudiced upon because they are the only turrets whose default versions are directly affected by Hull Augments. More room in Challenge Tiers for other rewards. Cons of Removing Hull Augments (My Opinion) Less income generation for developers. Parkour may be more difficult without Lightweight Construction. Players will need more skill to get used to and utilize Vulcan in battles - of course, this shouldn't be a problem for the f2p's who've been using Heat-Immunity-less Vulcans. Developers will need to spend more work on nerfing things such as Gauss EMP or Defender Drone. Anyhow, how would you feel if Hull Augments were removed? -
Shards = Good game Removing Shards = Time to quit
-
Too bad my Striker doesn't inflict AP and I don't own an upgraded Hornet.
-
Depends on how old...... For me, I thought that really old Tanki (at least the 2014 version) was pretty grindy. There were no daily missions, containers, or challenges to earn too many rewards with.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
I like the XT Skins we have right now in Tanki Online. But that being said, it would be dope to see Tanki X's XT Skins be added. Maybe call it XT-X or XT-Noir or something? -
I wasn't here from the beginning (I came in 2014), but my friend, @Emeraldcat345 was.
-
Ohhh okay. I fail to see the resemblance between them and Hunter HD lol.
