One probable reason is that your friend's nickname changed to r_<nickname> as someone else used that nick for their own account. Ask your friend to go through the Profiles (Tanki Ratings) with names r_<nickname>, r_<nickname>0, r_<nickname>1, and so on and see whether he can identify his account (from the equipment) among them.

Ever since Gauss came out, there has been a lot of outrage over the 'bang out of nowhere'.

Was changing a Mission by playing ads when I saw one about Jurassic World Alive. There was someone who looked like Semyon Kirov...

One word: Yes Too high exploitative potential, especially with the combo I use; strikes from across the map dealing high damage to unprepared enemies; the lock-on duration is so short and, combined with no laser/indication, forms a Railgun-like instant hit that can't be blocked by any tank in between. It thus gives a higher output for lower levels of skill. One can't say it's not OP just because you need to rely on arcade shots in cluttered maps. Real 'OP-ness' is decided by how disastrous it can be, and that's when it's used for camping, with ODs, drones and supplies. When I compare it with my Hornet-Shaft combo from another account, I can't help but feel it's a cheap rip-off. What if it can't one-shot medium hulls without DD, while Shaft can? Doesn't Shaft require a much, much higher amounts of skill, especially in MM? Isn't it a sitting duck for enemy fire while sniping, and doesn't it need to conceal it's laser? Simple comparison of statistics doesn't provide rational arguments.

If you had the capability of reversing a single update, which would it be?

Run/Race For Gold. A person drops a Gold box and everyone rushes out from the top platform and race towards the Gold box.

Thanks! I was just a tad bit confused. I felt I had claimed the reward 5 times from a 4 day Premium.
-
Ever since the claiming of Premium rewards were moved to the 'Special Missions' tab, I see that I can claim the reward for a day of Premium one day and claim it again after the next server restart. So basically a day of Premium gives 2 times rewards. This wasn't the case previously, when one got rewards only after the next server restart. Can anyone confirm this?

Use the Sign-out button on the Forum and the Log-out option in the game. As simple as that.

You know, the real disappointment is catching a Gold only to get nothing but a self-destruct. Among 8 or 9 monster kill Golds I caught, I only got 2 kills. Even 5 minutes or less of supplies, or a minute of immortality would have been better. But I'm really thankful that there's only 1 type of 'no-reward' golds, unlike the events in the past few years when crystal Golds were kind of uncommon and Premium ones rare.

Caught 3 Monster kill Golds so far... 3 stupid self-destructs.

@Maf Y u no Moof? Me want Moof. Moof FTW.

Hornet's OD will just ignore the 99% Protection Module. And there's no other simple way to implement the 1 min Godmode_ON power.

The Y co-ordinate varies as a function of time as Y=f(t)=(u×sinθ)t-1/2×g×t² While the X co-ordinate varies as X=x₀+(u×cosθ)t Pythor wanted to ask what happens when the value of X approaches the value of the Limit of the Fifth derivative of Y, or basically the limit of f'''''(t) or d⁵y/dt⁵ which, obviously, is 0. Hence, its Limit is also 0. (No other value possible.) The X asymptote equalling zero is just a joke as it's not a function that seems to near 0 but not actually reach it. It just varies linearly with t. -
Just waiting to catch a Gold after clearing the drop zone, only to self-destruct by a useless bomb.

You could have waited till tomorrow and just announced this as an April Fool's joke instead of wasting time on a text wall.

valid Kill still given if the enemy self-destructs
Gauss-Hornet replied to sensei_tanker in Ideas and Suggestions
Here's (what I think) is the summary of DieselPlatinum's argument, just so that there aren't so many confused responses. I may be wrong in my interpretation, though. (Most likely ?) You ambush an enemy using a splash turret = You want the opponent to deal self-damage so that they die easily = You're responsible whether they self-destruct trying to defend themselves Since it's your decision to rush them, you must choose between staying away (or away from where their turret's facing) and trying to kill them or rush them and risk losing the kill. I kinda support this reasoning, but an assist won't hurt.- 87 replies

The Special Mission is 'Earn 100 000 battle points in MM battles' and not experience points. So no bonuses from Premium or the Lockdown event are going to affect that.

valid Kill still given if the enemy self-destructs
Gauss-Hornet replied to sensei_tanker in Ideas and Suggestions
In strategic gameplay, everything has its pros and cons. If you rush someone using a splash damage turret, you can be sure that you are surely taking down the enemy, either by their self destruction or by your damage. If you don't survive, then they don't, too. The downside is that you can't be sure to get a kill or exp for that action, since they may die from their splash, sometimes taking you down too. I guess an assist would be a suitable compromise.- 87 replies
