New Container Project To Learn Reward Probability
KillerDiesel replied to ILiveOnTheChatBox123 in Archive
Ok it's Friday now. Time to see what I'll get from the new containers on my EvilDemonicTroll account: 3500 crystals 125 speed boosts 125 double armor -
I wonder what hull you're using it with. I'm using it with mostly Viking (because they pair well together in appearance and performance) but if your Viking is pretty weak, you can try using your thunder with hunter or dictator. Thing about thunder that I have learned over the years is that it works best on a hull with a decent amount of health and a decent amount of weight on it.

Lol, jokes on everyone, I only use pro battles if I want to test something or if I want to play parkour. Also I'm confused about the disabled funds part. Are they planning to remove funds from all types of PRO battles or are the just explaining why they removed funds from format battles?
-
Lol, I'm not expecting shear domination from it. In fact I really don't buy in the whole "Vulcan is OP" nonsense. If it really was OP, then I should be dying to it more often without it having to resort to the fire immunity and incendiary band alt combo or hornet OD. But only about 5% of my deaths to Vulcan has been without either of those things. I'm just testing mk5 Vulcan to see if it can be a reliable weapon again.
-
Just used my mk4 smoky on this account for several battles straight and I didn't do too bad. But of course, the performance issue was due to me having a weak modification for my rank.

No prob. And yeah it happens.

Well as of this weeks update, they rolled back the removal of option to buy whatever alteration you want.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
KillerDiesel replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Lol, that's because of hornet OD. I dread about those Damn hornets more than any other hull. Anything with hornet OD will make quick work out of you. Vulcan besides that isn't that hard to deal with unless it had the heat immunity alt or incendiary band alt or both of those alts. Not sure why you're having trouble with it besides those two situations. Vulcan can't one shot you and it does have a projectile which produces a trail because of the firing rate, so you'd know where it's coming from. -
What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

If Vulcan was made to be like real life gatling guns, then no one would ever use it, except probably parkourists. And that's because no one is gonna want to use a weapon that deals little to no damage compared to all the other weapons, especially in a fast paced game like TO. But luckily there are ways of countering it like getting behind cover, equipping a module, knocking it off aim, etc. Is it strong now? Yes Is it OP? No -
But no game beats the real life toaster game. Where you stick things in the toaster and have your house burn down (which means you beat the game).

It's just another reason why immunity alterations should never have been added into the game in the first place.

This idea is just aim to help the game financially. I think bundles are a good way to do that. Limited time paint bundles: For those time of the year. For example the spring paint bundle can just have paints that have flowers on them, the Valentine's day paint bundle can have the paints that have hearts on them, and the cosmonauts paint bundle can have paints that have anything to do with the outer space. Module bundles: this one, is one of the P2W bundles than can be obtained and can give out 3 or 4 bundles in one purchase. I have come up with 8 combinations so far: 1. Universal tier 1. 2. Universal tier 2. 3. Universal tier 3. 4. Universal tier 4. 5. Melee rangers got nothing on me. 6. Short ranged assassin. 7. Mid range damage tank. 8. I eat long ranged bullets for breakfast. Alteration Bundles: so apparently alterations provide great amount of revenue. So that's why this is in here. With 3 or 4 alterations with one purchase. Now no one bundle can just have mostly OP alts or UP ones. So it has to contain a balance of OP and UP alts.

I got a question for you. What do you think of PRO battles?
-
Yeah I heard and thought I was being delusional but it turns out many players will be pissed about the rude awakening that's coming.
-
To be fair, there are many things I don't like about this update like the enormous price hike some require Tankoins to get, not removing the buffs of many that received them last week, and why immunity alts are still in the game. I'm also astounded that it took 40 or so pages of hatred for them to somewhat rollback the update. But I'm just glad we can at least choose what we want to get. Also the trust thing is only a dinky amount compared to even just last year. I only gave a bit of it back because in the announcement they admitted that they were wrong for once and brought back the option to buy alts for crystals and now probably Tankoins.
-
Lol, compared to striker, Gauss is the better turret. That long barrel should be enough of a guidance factor.
-
Only one alternative: QUIT THE GAME.
-
Lol, what did you want me to say? Did you want me to say this instead?: "Yet another horrible update, it was fine having access to containers only through containers."
-
What do you mean "really"?
-
Well at least I'm better at it than you are. But carry on.
-
So they actually listened to the players. Wow they actually earned a bit of my trust in them back. Would've been nice if they reverted the buffs on all the alts that they gave the week prior as well as returned the prices of all the turret alts in this update as well. But I'm just glad they actually listened and allowed us to get what alts we want again.

I think they're just doing the "shootout" special mission. For me, the only thing that's keeping me from using firebird, freeze, or isida is that MM mostly will put me in a map like highways, stadium or any other large map with very little cover.
-
Well no, but neither was it in the previous system. LMFAO, you're worried about me not answering your one stupid question. But when I ask you tons of questions you don't answer them. And if I wanted you to answer my questions I would have to pry you 2 or 3 times. But fine I'll answer this question. In the old system, we had 4 modifications and the max upgrade. Now we have 7 modifications and a max upgrade. What everyone liked about the old system was that it was really simple, and had a decent rank gap before the next modification of that item. This new system makes it feel like a whole different game completely, has almost twice as much data/statistics (whichever you want to call it) as the old system, which makes it more complicated to understand, and the rank gaps between the modifications is rather small, feels like 3 or 4 ranks before I get to the next modification. To an actual new player, it must feel like their brain just died as they continuously unlock many new things as they rank up.

Lol, jokes on them, I only played to do my missions.
