OC'ing will only improve fps lightly, but graphics will still suck .. hmmm,, i've been someone who used enterprise editions of AV for a long time (namely McAffee) and, about 3 years ago I adopted MSE for my laptop ,, i'm yet to make a complain !! having the microsoft tag on it, it may sound like a crappy software,, but surprisingly MSE works fine, like the xbox, the only 2 thing they done right :D

yours vs mine As you can see, your card is much more recent than mine, but it does has its limitations here and there and is still an entry level graphics card... so, my advice is to do the normal regular performance tweaks like you can find on the FAQ ,, close some apps run tanki on a map in the browser you use,, then try running the same game , same map etc, but this time on standalone flash viewer ... if it makes a noticeable difference then your problem is the browser and connected apps, or your system resources being hogged by other apps.. also, try play without all these graphics options on.. have 1 or 2 of them ticked off... for instance the deep shadows one is really not necessary and bogs down on your graphics card too much...

^ idk about the situation of "what to buy - what to use" thread ,, but even the big bucks don't necessarily like it.. for example most the big buyers of my clan all have something against it, and we do have a few buyers in Clan Top Gun [TG][/b] .. and everyone has one thing on their mouth, low ranks playing with high gears they weren't supposed to have, other than that, they're all favourable to kits ...

idk which exact model you have but the one i got has a 1st gen core i7 and an Nvidia GT230 chip.. The GT230 is really an entry level chip, but for tanki it does the job. I use firefox as it works best for me. the only option i do not have on is SSAO (Deep Shadows) but everything else is on and i do get 40+ fps ... if i OC the graphics a lil i get a nice 60FPS as well ... all i do is use Ccleaner from time to time, and update flash and other stuff, like drivers etc regularly.. simple ;)

The reason is simple, everyone (apart from a few) hate the idea that someone comes in a game where someone is pawning with equipment he is not supposed to have at his rank. Having rank limitations when creating battles had just become an obsolete thing !! If it wasn't for that one thing, kits would have received all applauses instead of that big booing .... Another disconcerting fact is that those threads are still open for discussion on German and Russian forums, but somehow for some reasons its been locked down on English side. We wonder why... ps:

If the old 1000 gold box of pre 1.123 update was to have its equivalent in the tanki economics system currently used, its value would be 10 000 crystals. Remember that on update 1.123 everything was multiplied by 10. Naturally, in terms of design it was totally different and something of its own kind ;)

The Birthstone Case Player @birthstone is one of the victim of the above. @birthstone has been a member of Clan Behemoth [bEE] until his departure on the 2nd of September when he submitted his resignation from BEE and openly declared he is no longer a member of that clan. He did also participate in the TOF SOLO RAILGUN competion which is a sport mode reserved to clan and team members during his stay at BEE, and only left the clan after his exit from this tournament. Having been a victim in the ambiguities present in the new clan rules, specially Rule 2.12, he as well as the clan leaders and members he has been in touch with all thought that because he did not participate in a non-sport TOF SOLO game he would not be affected by Rule 2.12 and would therefore be allowed to join a clan in any of the coming Transfer Windows. @birthstone made an application to Clan Top Gun [TG] and was finally accepted on the 10th of September. Unfortunately and to the surprise of everyone, he was informed that subject to Rule 2.12 he is being denied registration as an official member of Clan Top Gun [TG] or any other clans until the 1st of December. I am therefore making a formal request that @birthstone be allowed to join the clan of his choosing during the next Transfer Window or any subsequent ones for he is not at fault, nor any other clan leaders in the matter. The only guilty party is a set of poorly written and inconsistent rules.
