continuing on ... Being an unofficial member of a clan is akin to not being in it at all . Green = Fair enough :) Blue = This is a question coming from people who play in clans and have cybersports aspirations, not just some random casual tankionline players. So I do believe most people following this topic are technical and mature enough to understand a more thorough explanation on the issue of lags and what's being made to tackle/smooth it. We the community would be very grateful to you if you could invite one of your colleagues working on the underlined part in the picture below to spare just a few minutes of his time to come explain things in more details for us. Perhaps someone could make a topic talking about this matter specifically in the cybersports section where all team/clan members could have a say on the matter as they will be severely affected with a unified cybersport system. White part = Top League tournament has nothing to do with our community Some guys have problems with reading walls of text adapted for the needs of community ↑↑ With all due respect I don't think this is right ↑↑ As joost says, we are clearly underestimating international clans here. But not least important is the fact that you guys are trying to bring unification to the 3 communities when it comes to cybersports 2.0 and by doing so you can't have a double policy on who gets what information and who doesn't. The Top League may at the moment consist only of russian clans but it does not mean the german or the international community are not interested in or worthy of knowing about it. It does not mean that non-russian clans do not have any aspirations of being in there 1 day and competing. Side-lining the international community and not sharing the same information with it will only make things worst and for the community to progress. So I can understand that when it comes to the community in general various texts need to be adapted for the needs of community ,,but when it comes to cybersports and clans, I don't think there needs be any special adaptations or short-cuttings and with all due respect I do not think cybersport involved people, i.e. clan members are afraid of or have problems with reading walls of text .

And here I find myself again quoting the same guy from .de forum who ninja'd me on raising this point How are we supposed to compete in the same tournament which will not be totally fair at the end of the day simply because some people are living closer to game servers and others farther. As the guy mentions above, the slaughter in xp games. For all those who plays XP/BP games on server 1 knows this all too well. We all suffer at the hand of the russian teams not cause they are fantastically superior than us. They just have that ~300 milliseconds advantage over us. 0.3 of a second is not much to many people, but in high level games its a real hard heavy hammer slamming down on your heard. At medium levels any smoky player can make a railer miss his shot by nudging him as soon as his rail lights up. So its supposed to be, but is not the case for all of us. For instance if I rely on this method to make a railman miss his shot, i'm dead !!! Cause of the minute minuscule lag. I have to have recourse to anticipation shots to make them miss. And this works nice when its against medium players, but if its in a high level clan war with elite players, they easily pick up on that and however accurate my anticipation have been on the BF against randoms, at pro level its utterly useless !!! How are we supposed to compete against those guys ? And its even worst for guys playing close proximity weapons like freeze, fire, isida. During game play I found myself using an isida with a reduced effectiveness of 0.8 seconds of its full charge. That's almost a full second over a charge of ~5 seconds lost due to lag. This is how it feels with just a lag of ~0.28 seconds on average. This is a lot in battle at high ranks, and in clan wars there is no words to describe it. So I ask again, how are we supposed to compete fairly against that ?? This here is a great opportunity for a dev/technician of the concerned department to come and explain things to us in more details than just "new servers are coming + we are reducing traffic and working on a new client" . What are the developments in progress, what stage they have reached, what problems are being encountered, what is the ETA , what is being done to smooth out the difference between those closer to servers and those farther,,, we want to know everything. In fact at this point we the international community (and perhaps our german brothers) should be privileged on the news scoop here about the lags as we feel we are more affected by it than our russian brothers.

Also perhaps you could clarify on the following post by one of the german staff in reply to Dynax What will happen to League 3 Clans when they graduate to League 2 ?? Will they be forced to shed weight? Will they have to split and spin-off a second entity representing the same organisation in League 2 and 1 ?? Or is it as raffnix says above that they will only be allowed to have a maximum of 15 members representing them in the league over the course of a season ?? The terms used on all 3 forums on that matter are very confusing, so please clarify.

Hi, first of all I would like to point out to a few discrepancies here, rather some omissions Top-Liga – die besten 16 Clans, mit viel Erfahrung und Top-Spielern. 1) On both german and russian forums it was clearly said that the battles of the top league clans will be streamed live online. However nothing about that was announced here in the english international forum. 2) The Current clans who find themselves automatically promoted to the top league - Nothing has been told on the forum here about who they are and how they got there. (Same for the teams who won their license in Dream Team) 3) What's happening with the current "Capture the Map" which is turning into the some kind of "Capture the Unknown Map". Its discussed on both .de and .ru forum and not here, they even got nice charts to explain it all However no mention of it here in international forum. 4) This whole section about the Top League on russian forum. Nothing about that here on international forum We do get it you guys at perm are trying to bring a unified cybersport 2.0 for everyone playing the game, whether they're russian, german or from any other country. But it would be a much better first step to eliminate the inter-communities discrepancies to begin with first .. Many in the international community have long complained about feeling relegated to the back waters of tanki (and this for as long as i've been here and from people from all over the world). And this right here is not helping the case at all. We the members of the international community pay the same dollars for the same crystals at the same rate. (I even know some people who will even argue that this community brings more funds to the game and only gets back lesser than what it contributes with respect to the other communities) The Bottom Line is, this double standard policy should stop now before this cybersport 2.0 comes out !!!! and yes, Alternativa can argue that they don't run such a policy and that you can admit here and there a few things may have been lost out in translation, which is fair enough,, but you guys should know nevertheless how it feels here at the receiving end. The intentions on your end may not be bad in nature, but still on our end it tastes bitter. And this is why I, on behalf of all members of this community, am making a formal request here to Alternativa Platform to please reduce the existing communications gap between the communities before proceeding any further with a unified cybersports 2.0 plan.

^ true and its a bit sad that there hasn't been much development in building towards a more child friendly zone ever since i started playing this,, which is more now more than 2 years ago .... chat mods and forum mods are here for sure,, they've increased in numbers as well, and many old controversial mods left and made room for more mature and impartial ones, but still, even with getting more and more of quality mods, this not-so-child-friendly environment will persist here on tanki ... My advice, learn from other games, networks and platforms who have more experience in providing more child friendly environments for their customers ;) edit: this post and the one preceding it have been quoted in Ideas and suggestions thread

Thanks for re-editing and taking care of the confusion there :) Please note that "penalty" is the wrong english term to use in this case. penalty means something else in english. Terms you want to use here are "extra-time" like in football or more appropriately "decisive round/s" 1st line Monthly Transfer Windows stays = 2nd line = upon rolling out the new upcoming rules for CS 2.0 please make sure there is a clause /clauses clearly stating that leaders cannot declare someone as a member of their clan without the person's approval. I think the " I am in this clan " policy should continue on and there is no valid reason here as to why it should be discarded. If you do have please disclose it for further discussions in this thread. 1st line planning to cancel the clans registration process. But as long as it's all done in the forum, we don't have any options to improve. = ok you completely lost me there, please rephrase this bit. more coming soon !
