Yes, stars will only count after you have bought the bundle and your participation in the event will only be possible if you buy the bundle and then earn 300 stars successively.

This is my point of emphasis too, if the bundle could be removed even 5 days before the end of the event, there won't be anything to get afraid or scared of.

That is the bad side of this average factor, you can buy other Youtubers's bundle to get their average down, but the same can happen with your team too. And the other thing is, some people are still waiting to buy the bundle until they are sure of who is winning. In case of Jumper or Taspens who are in lead now, people buying their bundle in the end could really be dangerous.

I believe those paints are still rare, it is not possible to obtain them currently, though Holi paint was available as the animated version of Holiday paint a recent while back. It is not fixed for now, there can be some new paints that could stay in bundles and can only be claimed for a short duration. It all depends on Developers.

Probably due to his inactivity for the current period. There are many other YouTubers in the EN local as well as RU local which didn't get a chance in this event. This is my plausible guess, the real reason might be completely different.

I agree, the nerf in the stats of the AP freeze forced me to change to Adrenaline freeze again. It has become less potent, unlike rest AP augment.

That is no doubt the most dangerous thing about this average count. More people buying bundles of any Youtuber can drastically reduce their team's overall average if they fail to produce decent amount of stars. A team with 5 members can totally claim victory against a team of 20k members because the first one has greater average in general. Hence, these large groups like Big tanks, Jumper etc. are most vulnerable to this downfall.

My guess is almost everyone buying his paint has contributed a fair share of stars to the total pool.
