It's basically caused due to the errors in the connection between the player and servers, sometimes the ping lags makes the player unable to deal damage. The same happens when a player has a low-end system, the system is not fast enough to join the map, takes time to load, and at the same time due to discrepancies you often face the No-damage bug when you actually load in the map. Best solution is to clear the data from time to time, have a good internet around as well as a fast system.
