That would be a bit OP don't you think? ? Basically freeze with almost unlimited range.

Wouldn't this mean your damage cut in half whenever you want to freeze your enemies? Not saying it is bad, actually I am quite curious to see how viable it would be.

I do not use rail much but I do not have any status effect aug, so maybe I will like this augment, All I know it is quite annoying to play against it.

That should not be the case according to this information: With that said, I do not really know why there has been no information about the next challenge yet either.

These are, in my opinion, supposed to be fun events, that are aimed to take you out of the usual rutine in the game, with the reward being more or less symbolic. Better rewards are usually tied to bigger more complex events. I kind of like it this way, but of course you may have a different sentiment.

What is your definition of an useful event then? I would argue these events are quite fun and creative. And if you are not into that kind of stuff, there is a load of in-game community events like: rescue the princess, black magic, space run, et cetora. Not even talking about the The regular celebrations and special battle modes.

The Hyperion drone at high Microupgrade level allows you to have all supplies active practically always. Is that a satisfactory answer? @Nanobot

Agree. All in all I enjoy team modes more than DM, that's why I don't participate much in DM maps. Nothing to complain about though...
