3 Easy steps to tackle a hornet player...step-1 be polite as you open fire on them in case a mod tells you off for not being nice. Step-2..don't get to close, give them space to let them back off if they want to, don't want to break any social distancing rules. Continue to rain fire down on them whilst keeping your distance. Step-3..Social distance acquired....end their misery. This concludes the lesson on how to be nice and still wipe them out without getting told off by the nice mods ....WIN-WIN for everyone i'd say, apart from poor hornet, never mind i'm sure he will do just fine in the next battle if the ranks don't go above WO5.

2 Thunders having a bad time, the marshal killed me so i went after him. His mistake. And i did not have thunder protection on or smokey and they had 2 of them as well. You go to garage to change you still self destruct so i don't bother anymore. And it takes way too long to get to garage and then back to battle, but it was worth it to stick it to those hornet thunders. Did i mention this was fun ? .

I think in 2 battles i've wiped out hornet 6 times, gonna go for 20 before i call it a night.

Not sure but like i care, he was hornet and he suffered so like i said dont give a hoot. ? I'm going after hornet without mercy in every battle i join. win-lose-draw i'm going after them specifically to hound them out of the battle.

Ok update, just read mods post so i have reworded my post towards HORNET. Still wiped them out.

LOL of course it is, with crisis nearly maxed, titan maxed, vulcan nearly maxed, trust me they are toast. At my rank there are 2 outcomes in battle. I kill them lots with a smile, are they leave calling me names.

Very first battle of today joined at 4-1 down but spotted this thing blocking my path so just cleared my path, quite easy really....ta ta HORNET it was my pleasure taking you out cause i'm mint and your not. DISCLAIMER-i have no hatred towards any individual who chooses to use hornet, but i will go out of my way to destroy you in battle at every single opportunity i get. I-W 1..... HORNET zip. Trust me this is the first of many many screens i will be posting of me defeating as many HORNETS as possible..gonna be fun.

My guess on evidence already seen, they will keep tweaking flash to our disadvantage until some players just switch to avoid the aggravation. It's below the belt tactics and no amount of complaining will change how the devs feel and act in their best interests. I've done my fair share of bringing up valid points either on my own, or reiterating what other players have said with my own thoughts added for the most part. HTML5 could be a great step in the evolution of TO but, (and there are many butts where the devs are concerned) they keep introducing new stuff into game play that just does not work as intended. The list is very long from MM right up to the new hull (ares.) TO is cash driven with little thought to how players can compete on a level playing field. It's this (make as much cash as we can mentality) that is ruining the most important objective of any gaming passtime, enjoyment. We as players want an edge in battle, nothing wrong with that, but in order to get an edge you need cash first over skill and knowledge. The latter two are of course still needed to compete at a level that keeps you at the higher end of rewards when battles are completed, but are secondary to the overwhelming advantage that cash can give you over your f2p opposition, are those who have very little cash and mabey are on a budget. TO is what it is, only the devs can make the changes that will benefit the majority of players. They have a lot of work to do if they intend doing anything at all to redress not only the balance of TO, but to put (give) back the enjoyment that has been awol for a very long time.

Gotta say he has a point, html5 is so gimmicky i find it hard to concentrate in battle, and i think i am at a very good standard were i can play to a high level. Using flash is just a lot easier on the senses you need to be able to compete at the level i am used to. I have tried html5 for most of this week and do find it hard to actually no what is going on around me, whereas in flash it is just way easier to actually play without any extra thinking as to where the enemy are, where my teammates are etc . All in all a far better experience when in battle.

2 Excellent ideas. treat html5 as a new game, one way of tackling it i suppose. At least make the pop-ups removable in game settings, i like it and easily done by the devs so no excuse not to do it.

Just tried it myself, just another ploy by the devs to force you to play html5, well it's not gonna happen. All it has done as far as i am concerned is make me reject html5 even more. I will not be coerced into playing html5 by their underhanded tactics. I've been playing it constantly for most of this week to give it a real test out. It's still making you self destruct after going to the garage, the childlike gimmicky way it looks, especially the dumb outlines of tanks is annoying and off putting, and all the glitches like being frozen either at the start of a battle, are even mid way through a battle is just pathetic. So let's have a minor recap on some of the problems that the majority of players have complained about for months now and which the devs have done zip all about. 1-OVERDRIVES -MURDER HORNET (top of the list) 2-MM still as unbalanced now as it was when it first came out. 3-Ranks, (legend not included) a typical battle will see a rank spread of at least 5, and in quite a lot of battles that can be as much as 9/10. Example, WO4 against brigadier-WO4 against marshal (and this does happen.) 4-HTML5, lots of problems none of them sorted. 6-New MK system, unless you were VERY FORTUNATE to have a account that had either maxed out M1 or M2 combos before the change to the MK system, the low to mid ranks as low as staff sergeant up to as high as brigadier were getting slaughtered in battle by their rank counterparts who had the above M1 or M2 combos maxed out. That gave M1 a MK4/5 combo and M2 a MK7 combo. Now if you have the cash you can acquire any or all of the MK7 combos at lieutenant colonel, and if cash really is no obstacle for you, then you can technically have a garage as strong as a legend rank. These i believe are the main issues with TO. As to why none of the above has been fixed, nerfed, scrapped or reworked to make it more balanced for the majority of players is a question unfortunately we all know the answer to (with mabey the exception of html5) which is pants, COLD HARD CASH. This is what dominates most of the decision making when applying any new update within TO. This is why i hardly play anymore. Not bothered about the challenge (won't even go there as to how that affects battles.) Earning stars is just a by product of any battle i decide to go into, which is getting less because of the seemingly endless flaws which the devs seem to ignore in preference of bringing out a new hull, and to a large extent forcing players to switch to html5 which is plagued with problems. I could have went on but really couldn't be bothered so i've left it at that.

Current state of TO is still pathetic. html5 full of glitches, still can't go to garage without self destructing, still looks like a very bad animated cartoon, something a 5 year old would dream up. In fact a 5 year old could do a better job of the layout with crayons. To gimmicky, no emphasis on actual gameplay. And they say it's better than flash, yeah ok whatever. -
Tried that out months ago, as a experiment. Does not help you get into lower ranked battles from my observations.

You are correct, i was probs being to technical with myself in giving that answer, which was a true statement if you apply newton's law of motion, but this is TO and not a science class, so on that basis your post has more WEIGHT ?. fn. It's newton's 2nd law of motion, had to check that one out because i knew i was missing something when i posted that,but your statement still holds more credibility than mine in the confines of TO. Think i will just concentrate on missions, it's way easier.

I dont give a hoot about stars, if i get 6 it's because i always aim for top spot. And again my score reflects the way i play. i am the type of player who just has to win regardless, that's my nature, and because of this i usually place high after the battle. I'm afraid you are misinterpreting what i am trying to get across. And like i said i never call anyone for coming last in battle, as there are a lot of factors for doing so. I gave my reasons for players coming in last and they hold true in a lot of battles. And as for a player taking six attempts to get the enemy flag, i would be the first to back them up to try and bring the flag back for the cap. I've been playing for a long time like yourself and i no when a player is trying,multing, are is just plain useless. There are 3 other factors that determine how well a player does, p2w players, players who rank way too quickly to maintain their garage through the ranks, and the MM system which we both no is unbalanced and puts players in battles way above their station. And as for the challenge take a look at my accounts that i play, neither one has reached tier 20 because i really don't care about the challenge or stars. I play when i feel like playing, and the challenge has no bearing on how i play in every battle i go into. As for tdm mode i hate it, but i no what you are trying to say, that mabey someone like me just goes into ctf for kills, not my way, yes i do get quite a lot of kills but i am always focused on defending our flag and ready to help those that go for the enemy flag. I have one big advantage over most players, i'm patient, i will not, ever use an account that is not ready for the ranks it will go up against. I have a field marshal account, flipstiks, as far as i'm concerned even though it's all MK7 protections they are only in the low to mid 40s, at the ranks i will be playing which would be legend no doubt for the most part , forget it, i am not canon fodder for those MURDER HORNETS which we both no are abundant in numbers at legend ranked battles. One last thing, i post what i see in battles and what i no to be true about TO from years of playing, and through all of the updates that have happened through those years. I might come across as a holier than thou player but i'm really not like that. I say what i see on a daily basis in TO, and if players don't like are can't understand what i am trying to get across when i post about whatever it may be on whatever topic then really,THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. I'm honest and genuine both in what i post and in battle.
