This was a joke i only stayed because we were losing and enemy team were all over them. got overdrived once and ganged up on in there base..good win all the same.

I've seen this waste of space a few times.

Half there team left after going 2-0 down. The low rankers that stayed didn't have a clue, and were massively outgunned.

Well like most issues in TO it comes down to cash. I have a novel solution to get discounts for anything in the shop from kits, to containers, crystals, premium etc. Why not have them discounted in line with the effort you put into the hundreds of battles we all play. EXAMPLE: 10,000 battle score will get you 10% off anything you want to obtain in the shop. 20,000 -20% 30,000-30% 40,000-35% 50,000-40% 60,000-45% 75,000-50% Now for the slightly hard part-whatever you earn in 1 week goes towards any item you might want, but after 1 week if you have not used your battle score discount it resets and you start the process from the beginning. I suggest a seperate box within your garage, similar to a container whereupon when you have the amount you want you simply open it and claim your battle score and proceed to the shop to get the item you need. When you do open your battle score container make sure it has the required amount you need, because once opened you cannot start saving battle score again until the following week. If an item you want is less than your accumulated battle score savings (BSS) the remainder after your purchase becomes null & void, (it expires) 1 Last point, you will still need cash / crystals to acquire any item in the shop as your battle score, regardless of what you want in the shop is only a percentage of that item. This is my idea, and not a single mention of MURDER HORNETS.

Can't see how i could do that when i see countless battles being dominated by the combination of hornet / magnum in particular. And as for the B module they seem to survive way longer than any 20% should allow.

Compared to MURDER HORNET it is a wet paper bag.

Compared to MURDER HORNET, vulcan with all the alts working together is not even close to the capabilities of that OP disaster on tracks.

Just bad luck i guess, although we did have 1 battle where we were on the same side,and we won, so not all bad i suppose over the last month.

Probs just crap players, try taking on the 20% brigade, it's a barrel of laughs.

My second encounter with the 20% legal cheat brigade, on this occasion i actually killed him without the assist of a overdrive. Devs must have gave me special MURDER HORNET abilities by mistake for a couple of mins in that battle.

Thoroughly enjoyed the read, highlights one common factor, whether it's for crystals or cash almost everything is way overpriced, especially if it is for cash. Still well put together ...nice 1. Just to elaborate on the drones, crisis unlocks at recruit because it is in a ultra container and is unbelievably super rare. So the devs in there devious ways made sure that all ranks would be able to buy it, thus generating a buying cash frenzy of ultra containers, all the while knowing this would probably happen with a new and unique drone like crisis on offer. The devs are DEVIOUS but not stupid.

Ok i think i get what you are saying, i take it you are basing this on players with MK1-MK7/ MK8 being MK7+......1-8......and the 500-4500 are the HP (protections) of the various MKs as you progress through the ranks. If your graph is correct that still does not explain how a 20% player can take so many hits and usually end up killing his opponent first who may well have 50% against him. But more turret you introduced and more the Spectrum B is potent versus the set of 3 module protection.......This last bit i don't quite get. Are you saying the stronger the turret of the player WITH 20% means his B-module is somehow generating more protection than if he had a weaker turret? A LESSER MK TURRET?? Please clarify. In fact if anyone can explain this last bit any better it would be a help.

Same player in next battle, must be nice to be allowed to use legal hacks, very similar to MURDER HORNET PLAYERS. Obvs in the same cheat club.

Makes you wonder why they dont use 50% against you?? Ahh that's right because there 20% is anything but. Took forever to kill this player, but i managed it 3 times, had to use overdrive the 1st time as i was getting nowhere with just plain old maxed out vulcan with 50% against him. After MURDER HORNET these players are a joke.

Disagree. MURDER HORNET combined with THE ULTIMATE RAT MAGNUM, is by far the worst and overpowered combo out there.

Agree with your last point,it should also suffer self damage if equipped with magnum, thunder, or gauss.

I have just looked at your profile. Unless you are willing to spend cash, the only way you are getting MK7 is by reaching marshal. In your situation if you do not have the cash then i would say YES you have got to rank asap so at the very least you will have MK7 rail. I did not know your rank until now, so ranking faster would in fact benefit you compared to what you have got in your garage at the rank you are now. As you are a non buyer you made the mistake of reaching the mid ranks to quickly,so imo after looking at your profile save as many crystals as you possibly can, and when you hit marshal upgrade rail and your fav turret as much as you can. Your protections at the rank you are at are at best average, you really need MK6 to enhance your chances of getting a decent score in battles. In regards to your protections i would not concentrate on any more upgrades on your MK5s as they really won't make that much of a difference (AND WILL DEPLETE YOUR CRYSTALS) when as you no you are going to come up against at times marshal ranks and in some battles even higher. Your account is tricky to advise on as your rail / hornet are only MK5, so what to do. Depending on your current upgrade level on rail if it is near completion then get it maxed out,and acquire the MK6 for free and start upgrading that to. Usually i would say don't bother with upgrading MK5, but if you are not a buyer then this is the best way to go for you. You have over 340,000 xp to hit marshal so that is still quite a way off, so imo it makes sense to go the way i have suggested and concentrate on rail/hornet and to use whatever cry you have saved on making them stronger. At the very least you need to have both rail and hornet maxed out at MK6 before you get to marshal rank. Once you are at marshal then your protections need to go to MK7, but i no that will be difficult for you, so with limited funds all you can do is concentrate on the ones already at MK5 and progress as best as you can towards MK7. A lot of players are in the same position as you, TO is aimed at buyers with little or no thought towards the thousands of non buyers that make up the core of all battles played out. Good luck getting to marshal even though it looks like you are yet another MURDER HORNET player ?

Then your stuck in a conundrum,(catch 22 scenario) rank faster to get the required equipment to combat players at shop buying level, or obtain xp at a lesser rate and stick to playing battles against (LESSER) upgraded shop buyers. Four big factors going against you here, 1- Little or no cash to help you upgrade your garage. 2- Obviously ranking to quick. 3-MM, because it is so unbalanced and biased towards buyers, your going to come up against strong players at a lower rank, and those above you in rank who are even occasional buyers will outgun you even more. 4- Unless you have at least 3-5 million crystals, (and yes i actually do mean that amount) even if you get a few MK6-MK7 protections and a couple of turrets and hulls at either of these MKs, you have to upgrade them to a decent step to do reasonably well at the rank you are at. I understand the pitfalls of ranking to quick if you are essentially a non buyer, it's a mistake the vast majority of players make, and then realise they cant compete in battle as good as they did a couple of ranks before that, because there equipment lacks sufficient upgrades to challenge the players at these higher ranks. This imo is how it plays out for most players in TO, and how it will always remain that way as long as players spend cash to gain a upper hand in battles.P.S not to over inflate either myself or @wolverine848, but we actually no what we are talking (posting) about.

It's quite obvious your issues are that you can't get what you want at your rank unless you spend cash in the shop. No amount of crystals can solve your problem, only cash. This is the problem for many players, my advice is either be prepared to spend cash in order to compete at the higher ranks,or do not rank as fast until you no your protection modules (at least) are in line with the higher ranked players (or buyers) or both, so you have a better chance to do well in battle. That is the best advice i can offer, it works for me but i'm patient and never rank above what i can handle according to my garage.

I don't even count that as a battle, i barely moved from my position all through that.
