    Both smoky and shaft have better alterations than adrenaline, nonetheless it does probably work pretty well with Shaft. IMO it goes best with Gauss, but I have seen it put to good effect with Firebird - since they are taking damage at melee range they are more likely to kill the enemy the lower health they become in the encounter.

    So... your account got banned and now you want a chance at getting it back even though you sold it? That's the last thing tech support want. You'd have a better chance not mentioning/admitting to selling the account at all since they don't allow it under any circumstances. Good luck but I'll be very surprised if you do manage to get it back.

    Daaamn I'm winning a lot of newspaper contests lately. I was unsure of the second one between Canyon and Farm but the rest were relatively easy to find.     Thanks but no thanks, before I was able to buy Mk7s directly, now I have to buy every modification before Mk7 beforehand. Especially a pain in the derrière when upgrading modules.

    Not true, your turret is entirely unique the entire time you are in battle, your hull is only unique for the brief periods, or in hornets case, the large periods of time where your overdrive is active. But we're not talking about hornet here. No it can't, but if said Juggernaut in this example is stupid enough to let me corner him with a slow ass MAMMOTH then he may as well be good as dead anyway. It's not like Mammoth is the only way to kill Juggers, I did the 50 mission easily using Viking-Twins as my main combo. Solo Juggernaut is simply not a valid reason to purchase equipment as it is only in the game for maybe 5 weeks in the entire year, if that. Deathmatches are not in matchmaking. So, what's your point now? You're describing very specific situations where *maybe* it might be better to have a different hull but spending a whole 200k just for that? Not. Worth. It. Dude, MUing slowly costs the same as full price. And like I said, even if you only MUed during sales, maximum sales are 50% so each Mk7 will set you back a MINIMUM of 200k, and I'm sure you have a few 25%, 30% off MUs in there which will bump up the price even more. At the end of the day, you do you, its your account and it doesn't seem like you'll be convinced on this but maybe once you actually start MUing your Mk7s instead of focusing on getting more you'll realise the advantage

    This is not true at all. This argument can definitely be made for turrets but not hulls since the hulls are nowhere near as distinct in their characteristics It is most preferable to have three hulls Mk8 - one light, one medium, one heavy to fill in all roles during a battle than to have all hulls Mk7 with few MUs. You are wasting almost 200k crystals for every unnecessary Mk7 hull you buy on a 50% sale, and more for lower sale percentages. This way you can switch to whatever your team needs in the battle, whether that be to defend and protect the flag in CTF/ASL using a heavy hull, play in the midfield and be an all rounder with a medium hull, or use the broken ass Hornet OD and carry your team to a win. Regarding your earlier question, what's the point of getting Mammoth Mk7 if you already have Titan? Both will fill the same purpose in terms of being a heavy hull, and the only difference is overdrives, both of which are fairly useless in my opinion, if anything Titan's is better since sometimes the enemy won't have their OD to counter it, but you can literally pop a speed boost and run away from Mammoth OD like its nothing. I probably get killed by Mammy OD once every 30 games, if that.

    Personally, I don't mind spending a bit of time doing missions - i'll usually spend an hour on tanki anyway. It's more so to do better in the battles themselves whilst simultaneously completing missions that I want to buy a decent drone. That being said, I usually get top 2-3 anyway, so perhaps I should just continue MUs and forget about the drone... ?

    Deciding between Sprinter, Saboteur or Trickster drone to buy as my primary drone as I feel as though I have enough batteries to maintain a drone for completing missions easier. Only reason I'd consider Trickster is for the battle point boost cause I usually have no problem with supply cooldowns in most matches. Anyone adequate at using Trickster able to give me a rough estimate on how many extra battle points the drone contributes in an average game? (without actively seeking teammates to cancel their cooldowns). Saboteur and Sprinter both seem quite useful and versatile, but my only qualm with Sprinter is that apparently it only activates supplies if your remaining supply time is under 10-20 secs (depending on MU level) and usually when I'm capping points/ picking up ball or flag I have all or at least 2 supplies active anyway. Is the free RK worth the batteries it eats? - RK is 150, Battery is 300, although I never buy batteries so I guess those can be considered free whereas I do buy RKs in 50% sales.

    I do this on a consistent basis. I don't screenshot most of my results, only the insanely good ones but I'd be happy to screenshot every result from a day of playing for you if you'd like. There's a lot more to winning games and coming first than just having a maxed garage; although it certainly helps. Supplies are king, MUs only matter once you're on a level playing field in terms of supplies, not to mention I can cycle Hornet OD and get 50-60% charge before the damn thing runs out. At this point, if you can't beat em, join em. All this proves is that one, or both of the following is true: I (me personally) don't need maxed equipment to compete in matchmaking battles against maxed Legends You need, or would like maxed equipment to compete in MM battles against the same Legends And the second point is completely fine and reasonable on your behalf, I was just trying to let you know that in my opinion you should have higher expectations with that type of Garage.

    This is utter nonsense ? I probably have a worse garage than this depending on how you look at it (More Mk7s but fewer MUs) and I can consistently get top 3 on my team almost every match. Heck, I don't even use a drone and you have maxed out defender, probably the most useful/versatile one of them all. I don't know what's going wrong for you, but it sure as hell ain't your garage. maybe work on your skills a bit

    same thing happened to me rip so does this mean theyre even rarer to get out of ultra containers compared to regular ones (legendary rarer than epic/rare)? and does it also mean i could've got EMP in the same legendary category but they gave me adrenaline instead ? my gauss is mk1 anyway but defo would've got mk8 if i had that broken alteration lmao
  21. Not sure about the first 2 questions, but I would say 160 is a pretty insignificant sum. The impact force upgrade is an unnecessary addition but kind of makes sense with the "theme" of the augment - unstable rounds, higher damage shots, higher impact force. Scout's impact force is definitely more of an issue than on this augment. And no, it definitely isn't a true upgrade like something like the 5 clip augment for hammer would be as it is luck dependent, and if you don't get the upgrade all the time then it's a situational upgrade, not a true, constant upgrade.

    1) I guess late July + August is their "break period" - we have holidays/celebrations almost every other month of the year, but they could've filled this period with a War if they planned properly. When was the last one? 2) I don't see how this could be the case, other than by discouraging people from purchasing Skins & Hull Augments directly through Tankoins and grinding challenges instead. Even then, the hull augments and skin container are now in the Gold section so you still have to purchase tankoins, usually with real money since most F2P can only afford maybe 1 or 2 battle passes a year. Nevertheless, they would make more if people were purchasing skins/augments directly, however I think their sales strategy is to get more people to buy the Battle pass to outweigh the losses from "savvy" buyers who may be looking to invest their tankoins more carefully. 5000 people spending $10 on battle pass + premium every 2 weeks is better for tankis revenue than 500 people spending $30 on a hull augment or even $50 on a skin. Plus, hull augment/skin purchases are more erratic. Battle pass gives them a more steady,predictable revenue source which is what all businesses desire in order to better decide future spending/investment plans (although I doubt Alternativa are reinvesting any money into this project at all, just enough to keep it functioning to squeeze all they can into the pockets of owners/shareholders)

    As long as the challenges bring in decent enough revenue from tankoins they will continue, as well as the money spent on premium account time to grind the stars. That's also why they were changed from monthly to fortnightly, to increase their revenue flow. On top of this, it keeps people playing the game to get the stars in the first place as the cost for stars in the shop is ridiculously expensive. Until the popularity of challenges drops enough to the point where they are not seeing enough battle pass purchases to make the challenges a viable promotion, they will continue regardless of the criticism/feedback on the forum. Besides, they are not very resource heavy since all that needs to be done every 2 weeks is create a new terrible looking animated paint (although Tectonic Plates was alright) and change the Augment rewards. Everything else stays exactly the same, yet it is marketed as a "whole new challenge" and sold as such. Compared to holiday events and War events, these challenges require far less programming and designing effort on the developers part and yet still probably contribute decent sums towards their revenue streams, thus making them a very attractive proposition for them to continue.
  25. Owning LCR myself, I can tell you I don't see it as powerful as its made out to be. Whilst it might be annoying for individual enemies who get hit, the overall DPS is a lot lower than other turrets and as such most of the time I'm actually detracting from the team compared to if i was using my smoky. Perhaps its more beneficial in certain situations where mass damage is required quickly e.g. teammate pulling flag, but I dont think these situational benefits outweigh the stable DPS offered by other turrets, especially if your aim gets knocked or you miss your shot. Only exception is with Hornet OD + DD where you can oneshot almost everything in sight, but for this purpose I'd argue Death Herald to maybe be a better augment to combine with the broken Hornet OD just for the instant reloads off killing light hulls, of which there are plenty. Totally agree about Scout though, that alteration is so damn broken I'm considering getting it myself if it stays this way (looking like it will be since devs clearly have Railgun on some sort of pedestal). Regarding RD, I don't really think you can be mad about getting killed by this as, whilst I've never used it myself, aren't the crazy high damages outweighed by the minimum damage being able to go down to 1?
