    Let's Discuss Containers!

    For trickster, just go DA, then Speed Boost after 5 secs after spawning, and then u have DD available almost immediately, giving you almost full supplies straight out of spawn. If you don't want to use a drone that makes you supposedly "change your gameplay", just use Sprinter and play as you normally would before, its especially useful in CP by giving you a free RK every time you cap a point.

    ?? You might as well use drones like Driver/Trickster since these do not consume any extra supplies other than batteries, and will still provide you with a sometimes noticeable advantage when playing. Unless you're saving them to use them at Legend ranks, your stance makes no sense. 2-3k batteries is more than enough to keep in reserve for special missions and such, if I were you I would use drones to speedup the completion of missions etc. in MM.

    If someone is willing to put in the time/effort, the test server has 1 million tankoins loaded in right now. Might be a great opportunity to gather some mass data on container probabilities and get more accurate results from the larger sample size.

    Does self destucting fix the no damage after spawn glitch? I've been wasting a lot of time reloading the entire page for a while now
  6. Must be nice chilling at third lieutenant... around Legend ranks Vulcan + Incendiary Band + Fire Immunity is still a pretty common sight

    It can be very good if there are 2-3 enemies with thunder modules. Any more than that and you will struggle to get kills and rely almost entirely on passive point accumulation. At your rank, it should be great. Tbh, if I were you I'd focus on maybe saving up for a Mk6 kit as your garage seems pretty underdeveloped for your rank.

    Literally Unplayable: New RFM Shaft-Hornet Meta

    Probably not underpowered in the right hands but sure is hard as hell to hit your shots and definitely underused in modes outside of juggernaut. Still find it fun and use it often on my alt accounts but sadly it'll be a while before I get round to getting it viable on this account.

Big changes suggested in I&S are pretty much pointless, the devs have a vision for where they want the game to go and they'll implement what they want, what reason do they have to listen to a few players on the EN forum - most remaining players are probably Russian anyway. Epitome of this was shown in the recent V-Log - "And you say we don't listen to the players" - for something like keeping a map in the game. They think something like that is doing us a massive favour but I'm sure the majority of the playerbase just wants a better matchmaking experience and balanced game in terms of hulls & turrets. Just have a look at the topics labelled "completed" : https://en.tankiforum.com/search/?&page=1&tags=completed&search_and_or=or&sortby=relevancy They are all tiny changes like "increase font size" or "wider health bar". All the actual gameplay changes that are labelled completed i.e. "Speedster drone" are just elements of developer updates - Crisis drone was going to come out whether or not that idea was suggested - that just so happen to correlate with an idea suggested, and as a result the tag is changed. I still find it interesting to go through I&S and read the new, well intentioned suggestions players might have for the game but, in the forefront of my mind is always: "this is never going to be implemented".

  12. Disagree. Best way to get around it is to change all missions to crystal missions by watching ads on mobile , of course not possible on iPhones, but Android is far more common than Apple products anyway. Should you have an android device you can get around 5k crystals every day depending on rank from daily missions for less than 1-2k experience, add weekly mission rewards on top of that and I make 60k every week minimum just from missions alone (7 x 6k + 18k from weekly containers). Going to be lower for lower ranks but still probably above 50k for anything above major. This is not including the 3 free containers that could net you some decent rewards - I've had 100k crystals and some augments for both turrets and hulls drop from those. This current tanki economy, if anything, benefits the casual, daily mission player and severely disadvantages non-Legend players who grind and try to complete challenges and super missions and the such

    Wiki editor application on the cards... ? ? Thanks for the clarification and the infographic - so hulls with the same passive charge time and the same battle scores can charge at different rates as the battle score : charge ratios are different My current understanding of it : each hull needs 100,000 charge to reach Overdrive. The statistic for Overdrive charge over time is passive charging per second to reach that 100,000 and the statistic for charge from points is the charge recieved per battle point towards reaching that 100,000.

    Not game breaking, but definitely not enough of a nerf to balance Hornet properly. Perhaps in conjunction with some other changes this could be viable
  20. Personally, I think Hunter > Viking in this current meta as it's more stable and OD charges much faster. However, it is really fun to stack up multikills with Viking OD, but you won't be doing much of that with Shaft as your turret anyway, so I'd go with Chiropractor. Also, wrong topic, use this next time:

    Whilst some good points are being raised, here spare a thought for the Titan OD, the only one in the game which is countered by 4 other hulls' ODs - Wasp, Hornet, Hunter, Mammoth. Even Viking can be considered a "soft" counter but not as much as the aforementioned. I'd happily substitute allowing Hornet to continue ignoring DA + Modules if it meant it couldn't ignore Titan's dome as this would do 3 things: Nerf Hornet, but not massively (General consensus is that a nerf is required) Buff Titan OD - as I have explained above why this is required Encourage more Titan usage, and allow Titan to counter another overdrive other than Wasp (which I wouldn't even consider much of a counter since it is usually Titan users doming up and then Wasps sneaking in and bombing it) This makes sense to me as (correct me if im wrong but) Titan OD and Hornet OD both last the same length of time and seeing a teammate Titan with OD ready would mean that staying alongside him when dome is used = easier captures of CPs, Sieges, better ASL defence, which is what Titan dome was intended for in the first place. Of course, it could still be countered by Wasp, Hunter, Mammoth. Just another suggestion and some food for thought, at this point I think most players are so fed up with this issue that any form of nerf would be gladly recieved.

    Update: it turns Viking into Hunter with a higher top speed basically, the slower acceleration is weird to get used to but impact force is basically negligible from any turret, railgun users with scout would usually ragdoll my tank but with Heavyweight construction impact forces are barely noticeable. Not sure whether I'll equip this or Fire Immunity as my default setup, I'm used to playing with a light viking, but I might load into battles with heavyweight, check for any compact fuel tanks/incendiary band/incendiary rounds alterations and then make a switch accordingly. Could be tedious, but probably worth it if I can be bothered.

    So other than "realism" in a game with bouncing plasma turrets and ice-throwing vacuum cleaners, realism is now the priority? ? Other than that, still don't see any reason to switch Smoky to projectile. I guess we'll see how it's affected if it does end up happening.
