No offense but you're third lieutenant. Unless you have a higher ranked account I don't know about, once you get into the Marshal+ and especially Legend ranks the vast majority of players know how to control their tank pretty well, so simple point and shoot mechanics is almost a given. The problem with Hornet OD that makes it so frustrating is that it bypasses EVERYTHING. Even the damned spawn protection which is literally there to prevent spawnkilling like ??? what kinda genius designed a system meant to prevent spawnkilling and then said "you know what, I'll allow spawnkilling, but only on a hornet" . Also, from my experience Hornet OD charges ridiculously quick, especially if you're able to get a couple kills without the OD, as most buyer drone users are. And then, pop the OD, turn on Defender to make yourself mostly invincible to anyone without Booster, and get to mashing. The kills in the latter half of the OD usually mean theyre already at 30-50% by the time it expires. I think the best nerf if the devs think the overdrive mechanics themselves are balanced would just be to increase the charge time - I'm sure that would lead to the least complaints and the least players even noticing anything was changed. Perhaps make it charge slightly quicker than Viking OD and we're golden.

Another result of the star grinding culture arising from matchmaking... MM genuinely could've been so good if Tanki had the playerbase it used to and the game finding mechanics were tweaked slightly. I dont know if it does this currently but trying to even out GS when placing players into teams would also be a great step, I've seen so many battles where its a sea of red GS due to >9000 on my team and the opposing team is all Blue/Green at 9k+... surely it should know to mix those players up a bit??

I've noticed that late evening/night is the best times for me to play to avoid the 9999 GS Hornet/Vulcan/Defender/Drugs types but I'll still come across a vast majority of Legends with a few Commanders and Field Marshals sprinkled in here and there. I guess the question then comes to this: should the matchmaker prioritise finding me a game asap above all else or should it take a bit more time to find me a quality game that I will probably enjoy a lot more? Currently its the former and I wish it was the latter, but as with most ideas on this forum, it'll probably end up down the drain if its not deepening the pockets of the devs.

Its been happening to me since Marshal, just because I'm Generalissimo now doesn't mean I can't reflect on past experiences. And the very same matchmaker that needs ONE player can surely wait a couple seconds to find the Legend ranked player to fill the spot? I'm arguing for this change in terms of principle since I'm going to rank up to Legend in the next few weeks anyway so even if it does ever get implemented it won't directly help me in any way, but I genuinely think its a small change that would make a big difference for those ranks Marshal - Gissimo.

Objectively not true. Explain why 95% of the battles I join I'm the only non-Legend on my team and theres usually one other non Legend on the enemy team. I'm sure the matchmaker could fill those gaps very easily given a couple extra seconds of wait time, which noone would notice

The current meta is hornet vulcan when you can spam drugs nonstop and maxed defender drone so your hornet has the effective health of a viking whilst keeping the OP overdrive. Oh, and don't forget the fire immunity so they can fire forever with no penalties. A regular player without the defender drone/consistent drugs/fire immunity will struggle with this combo since vulcan requires sustained fire and hornet dies pretty quick without double armour.

Okay, so the progression in strength is uneven. Recognised. SO that's the EXACT reason why I had this suggestion to improve the progression in strength. Your preference for inertia is baseless as just because something 'happens at lower ranks' is not a qualification for it being good for the game or the overall MM experience. You might've been trying to reassure me that it will get better as I improve my garage further, and I appreciate that, but that isn't addressing the issue at heart, thats more like just saying 'deal with it', which is a pointless discussion.

Bragging over? Okay lets get to some real points then None of what you said brings up any meaningful points as to why Gissimos and below should play with Legends, other than "you lose your edge", which is a personal opinion, and that's fine. All you said is what is currently true, that you need Mk8s by Gissimo to compete, but simply saying "if you don't you should start again" is both signalling that you haven't put much thought into responding nor have you come up with any negatives to my original suggestion. What are the downsides to Legends only playing against fellow Legends other than vastly improving the MM game experience for the ranks directly below Legend? If you're going to engage with me again on this topic, please actually write something that actually adds to the discussion rather than just letting everyone know how brilliant your garage is, I'm sure most of us don't care.

I had this mission today, get top 3 in winning team 3 times, took me about 3 hours to complete. Obviously I still got battle rewards and stars and caught a couple golds whilst playing, and the 3k reward at the end was nice, but finishing first on a losing team is such a demoralising feeling that the next time I get this mission I will probably skip it. Brilliant idea imo, should defo be passed on to devs if possible. Perhaps even just change it to "acquire a certain number of stars" for simplicity purposes.

Its not "complain that they earn few crystals" , its about being obliterated by MK8 combos with maxed defender drones and 50% modules whilst you havent had nearly the same time to build up your garage, but of course, you wouldn't get it. Enjoy your time obliterating people with ur Mk7s at Lieut. Colonel, I can only promise it goes downhill from the general ranks.

As we all know, Legend is the final rank and once you rank up from Legend you stay a Legend rank, your Legend "number" just increases. This means that, in the eyes of the game, or in the eyes of matchmaking, a Legend 20 is the same as a Legend 1, which is obviously not the case as the former has had the experience (time) to accumulate far more crystals and thus is far more likely to have MK8 equipment, maxed modules/drones etc. even if he/she were F2P. Now, whilst I see this as an issue in itself, my main concern is not with this, since you can argue that once you reach Legend you should have at least one MK8 combo and some decent modules with some half decent crystal management and sales, but my problem lies with how a Legend 20 is able to play with a Field Marshal or Commander for example, which seems out of this planet unbalanced? Why are Legend battles in MM not created for Legend rank only so that they can play amongst themselves, I'm sure there are more than enough of them since 95% of the battles I seem to be joining since the Field Marshal rank I'm the only non-Legend on my team. Almost completely ruins the MM playing experience most times unless I fully drug out for the entire game. In an ideal scenario I would even have rank brackets within Legend ranks e.g. Legends 1-10, 11-20 play against each other but Tanki might not have a large enough active Legend rank playerbase to support relatively fast matchmaking, but I would be more than happy to wait 30 seconds rather than 15 for a far more pleasureable playing experience. Though this is just a side note, my main point is still highlghted above. Thoughts? Care to inform me why this isn't the case/Any dev explanations behind it?

Why can't we see map names in English when game names are in Russian? If I want to see what map a game is, I have to click on the game which takes me to a whole different screen and if it's not the map I want (which it usually isn't) then I have to click back onto the battle list and go through a transition and we all know how laggy/slow the transitions between screens are on HTML5. Also why aren't there gifts in the HTML5 garage? Why are there some shop offers that are in the flash version of the game but not HTML5? Only reason im not playing on the flash version is because you have to buy a PRO battle pass and I'm very stingy when it comes to my crystals -

I was a mere Third Lieutenant in 2014; me and my friend @50_Quid had heard about the secret room underneath Ping-Pong created for THE GAME and we decided we had to check it out. Being relatively new to tanki, parkour was a foreign concept to both of us and as such even getting onto the ledge proved to be quite an issue to begin with. After many attempts and many combinations of hull and turret, we found that hornet rico and viking rico would be the best combo to boost me up there. Now for the hard part: the perilous descent Now, to this day I am not the most proficient parkourist so you will have to imagine my frustration 6 years ago as time after time my tank fell off the ledge or flipped upside down whilst trying to find the smallest of ledges to grasp onto. Despite the adversity faced, @50_Quid remained optimistic as ever in helping me climb back onto the ledge after every failure. It mustve taken us at least 50 tries in total but we finally got there, and out of all the gold box catches, rankups and battle finish screenshots from my tanki career, this snap is definitely my proudest moment and fondest memory: -
Maybe should've done a rankup party but coming back from a 3 year hiatus, I don't really know many people on this game any more lol. Still very proud to have made it to the highest rank in my eyes since when I started playing 8 years ago, Legend rank didn't exist P.S. Won this game and got 4k fund, which was nice, 41k in total from this battle ?

Why are Legends still allowed to play with Gissimos and under? still astounds me cause they could be Legend 1 or Legend 50, and legends usually have mk8s whilst majority of players under legend havent had the time/experience to amass mk8s, unless they were very focused on only a few equipment combinations. I'm sure there are plenty enough legend players for it not to be an issue of wait times, since almost all the battles I join I'm the only non-legend on my team

Excuse my ignorance, but whats the issue with Autocannon + Viking? Viking is my main hull and I'd be using it the most. Barely ever use hornet smoky, and titan smoky is mostly only for defence on assault I also bought fire resistance on my viking, so this is making me cautious as to how many players might have also done the same. Another overall question: How effective is autocannon smoky and titan on Poly CP? Not many will use Smoky modules there

Does Incendiary Rounds do more damage through burn than a regular critical shot? And also what is the critical rate increase from autocannon? Tryna decide which one to buy for my smoky

I use smoky almost exclusively with Viking, sometimes with Titan when a heavy hull is needed e.g. assault defence My fav turret is Gauss lol but that's only at Mk1 on this acc, I use it on a mini. I have the minus field stabilisation alt for Rico, and no alts on Smoky currently, and no hull alts. Currently leaning towards the hull alt as it is useful in all situations and very useful in Polygon CP fire fests
