No it is not in the user's point of view. The idea of augment is to make the target easier to kill after sniper shot. Yet, as a sniper, you should aim for one shot kill in the first place. Also, by the time you are able to fire a follow up arcade shot, the target you badly damaged should have long gone. That's why you see many AP magnums, a few AP freeze, while AP shaft is super rare even in maps like highway.

Now the question is, will this 3k stars arrangement last? Or will the Devs decide to F with us again and change back to 4k stars two weeks after?

Please, this event is nothing but to maintain the hype of this game. There is nothing to gain/lose for the Devs regardless which team wins. Why do you think they will taken this seriously in the first place?

In some coner cases, perhaps, but in majority of the situations, it is worthless or outweighed. Or we will at least see a few people using it.

"Yeah, I got 125 supply and an augment which is so trash that literally no one is using it. OMG I'm so excited!!!"... Seriously...

Not to mention that the mods straightly forbidden players from suggesting the removal of those "intentional bad decisions". Basically, the devs and the mods are just pulling an Apple (screw you, we want customers to adjust for us, not we adjust for the customers), without Apple's quality.

Why not? It is not the first time the Devs troll the players. And apparently they thought it is fun. On the implementation perspective, it is super easy to achieve that. Just swap the icons, period. Yet, from the design of the icon, I agree that it does look more like an OD icon.

It seems that you have zero clue about that, so I would suggest you to ask a mod about it before judging other people. Besides, even if no one told you about that, it doesn't take a genius to notice he is out of ordinary right? Let me get this straight, even with that guy's condition, I disapprove of how the mods handling this. Instead of making it fair, it is obvious that the mods are being extra protective and tolerance to that guy. If it was someone else doing the same thing, repeatedly, he would be banned long ago.
