  1. For me the main issue of Shaft is the inconsistence of where the laser is pointing and when it hits you. I don't know is it because of the ping (mine is around 100, not even close to be bad), or is it buggy. A lot of time, the Shaft is pointing the opposite direction of where I am and all the sudden I got one shot? I literally watched the laser "teleport" to me many many times. What's point of having a laser then?
  2. Yeah agree, nerfing the base damage should be the most obvious, straightforward way to balance it, unless the Devs decided to bring out that "It's not that simple" theory.

    The MM is matching against players with about the same rank. Your gear score has zero impact to how the match making system works Your gears are simply too weak for your rank, period. Either pay some cash or start over, but try to slow down level up as much as possible this time.
  5. While unlike those turrets, the Devs have over a month of "early access" to assess the situation. "Tesla is OP" is a clear fact right from the beginning. You see people complain about it in every single public channel since day one. I can only think of two possibility causing that. The Devs are extremely ignorant. Or the Devs are trying their very best to milk from their favorite money maker.

    That's 10% damage reduction. Not much comparing to the 50% of the modules. Plus every one will at least have drones equipped in mid to high level. Even when not fully upgraded, drones still provide some protection. So if we are just talking about protection offer from drones, and how it different from people to people, the differences and impact are minimal.

    Well this is exactly what the Devs want you to do. Spending crystals. Turrets are supposed to be balanced without protection modules come into play. Buy module is not a solution to the balancing issue we are facing right now. Or no matter how you balance it, a turret is going to be weak anyway if the entire enemy team is using modules against you.
  9. I pretty much used to hear the same when Hornet has its old OD. It is just a hull, nothing else. What could possibly go wrong with that?
  10. You have not edited the post when I posted mine. I never agree the critical damage update ruined the game. It seems that you made the assumption that I do. In fact, I feel that the protection modules are way too annoying.

What you are suggesting is not on the development plan https://en.tankiwiki.com/Development_Plans. Good luck waiting for it to be implemented if it is not even on the plan. Maybe, one day... One day I don't know how many times have you fight against Hoppers, but all I can tell you that it is a very poor experience. They are like pest. Hard to hit and very annoying. Also, just because the equipment itself has a lot of drawback, doesn't mean the fundamental of it suit this game. "Hopper jumps, just like real hoppers". Yeah, but that just a name. Introducing vertical movement in a game that was designed entirely for horizontal movement since day one is always considered as game breaking and risky. This should be considered twice before implementing it. E.g. you never see projectile weapons like grenade launcher being introduced in CS as a main weapon. And obviously, the implementation we have in Tanki is bad.
  13. According to the V-Log, that timer thing is nothing related to what you said. It is planned to change from instant death in the kill zone to a count down to warn you about that, "Hey, you are in the kill zone. Leave within 10 seconds or you will die". But hopper campers obviously are not in the kill zone when they are camping, or they are long dead. So unless the Devs actually enlarge the kill zone, the count down implementation actually helps Hopper to camp, because there are now more rooms of error for them to recover from mistakenly walking into the kill zone.
  14. OP, is not exactly the right word to describe it. The existence of Hopper itself is a mistake, similar to Magnum. It has virtually the smallest hitbox. Don't be fool by the size of it, and say "hey, it is about the same size of Hornet". Unlike tracked hulls, hovering hulls exposed side with the least surface area (i.e. the front of the hull) towards enemy fire. And they are able to move sideways while doing so. These two combined make hovering hull much harder to hit than tracked hulls of the same grade. Especially Hopper, which is tiny. It jumps!!! It allows to you reach places that you are not supposed to. Some places are a bad choices. But others, e.g. the walls in the Desert map, is a perfect camping spot. No one can reach you, but you can rain hell to the enemies.

  16. Viking's OD can kill any combo easily when solo ult. Yet, doing so is a waste of OD, especially when Viking OD takes so long to charge. The only OD which should solo ult is crusader, it is designed to be that way after all. Yep, that's all about it. No rate of fire increase what so ever.

Not enough complaint, so the Devs will and should give a zero damn about it? 2. How does that contradict? Your claim is based on the assumption that AP immunity it designed to weaken Hornet's OD. It is not. It is aimed to counter the OP AP augments which are introduced in the same patch. What you are claiming is merely a side effect. Just ask everyone around, what's the reason for them to use AP immunity? I know one, when I'm on fire in a match. The opponents usually switch to Vulcan protection and AP immunity. Because I'm using Vulcan and Crusader. Are you going to argue that "the Devs listened to players feedback and released a hull which has a hard counter to prevent it become too strong"? The two things are facts, but the relationship between them is not. 3. Then Hopper is OP, since everyone can abused it, especially the latter two drones can be accessed by everyone. You can also argue that Tesla is OP only when paired with these drone, but this is not how logic works. You can't just pair it with Brutus, said "hey, it looks fine" and do nothing about it. If you are not convinced, left me give one example of what @G-92 claimed. I once played CTF in the Desert map. A Magnum-Hopper just jumped on to one side of the wall and start raining Magnum shots near the enemy base. No one can shoot him back because he is behind cover. And no one can reach him as well obviously. That doesn't require any type of drones to achieve that. Now the question is, does that sound wrong to you? 4. So you agree with my statement after all? Besides, what so special for me to use the wrong grammar occasionally? I'm not a native English speaker. I speak 3 languages daily. So what's wrong of making mistakes sometimes? You are switching topics again and have provided zero proof. You said many people were complaining about it. So it should be fairly easy dig out a few topics and posts. Something like "buff the XXX augment". Remember, just because you think in one way doesn't means there are "many people" thinking the same. E.g. your claim of Viking OD is OP.
  18. But that augment makes Tesla an OP close range turret while can still able to perform decent in short - mid range. I know exotic and legendary augments are supposed to be OP, but there are simply too many inconsistency among them.

  20. Your questions: My reply to your questions, IN ORDER: They "fixed" it after over a year. The situation is super clear right at the beginning: "Hornet's OD was OP". And you think it is a good thing for a late submission of an assignment? The introduction of AP immunity is added together with Hornet OD changes and the introduction of the OP AP augments. Hopper is still OP in modes that require rushing. Have you seen the latest v-log? If not, take a look at the end where a guy literally flying in ruby mode. Did the Devs express anything of addressing it? NO! In fact, they embrace it. Are you trying to suggest that gameplay video is what a "fine Hopper" should look like? You can't prove the two things are related. Even if they does, jammer effect is useless. We both agree on that. So the Devs fixed it, by NOT fixing it. Even worse, they make jammer immunity legendary loot. This makes players harder to get legendary augments from containers. Give me a few example of that, just like I gave you proof in (2). I haven't notice anyone complaining about that, except the users of the augment of course. We saw Riddler keep saying Tesla is fine as is, if the Devs decided to listen to him and do nothing about Tesla. Is that count as "listen to player's feedback"? Obviously not. Since you mentioned "many people complain about that", it should be an easy task for you. So far, your point 1 - 4 are invalid, and you have yet to prove (5). Hit me with those, that's what the spoiler tag is for as others have pointed out. I'm listening.
  21. They troll everyone, not just buyers. Now this game is call Tesla Online, just like it is used to call Hornet Online. And no matter what we said they don't give a damn about it. See @MysticBlood reply? The Devs "listened to players feedback" and "fixed" stuff after more than a year, and some people are losing their mind, singing hallelujah praise the lord. It should have been done right at the beginning, especially when the situation is extremely obvious like Tesla, Hornet and Vulcan HI + IB. In fact, instead of listening to players, the actual reason of those changes are more likely to be the Devs have released a couple of P2W updates and they sense the frustration of many players. So they "listen to the players feedback" and release what players like. Look, for almost every single "good" change, there are always a P2W update release around the same time. e.g. The OP AP augments and the Hornet OD change. Releasing jammer immunity but making it legendary loot and unobtainable otherwise.
  22. It takes the Devs over a year to do something about Hornet. Same applies to Vulcan HI + IB as well. Some one will argue that they are planning them, so it actually takes that long. But it is never publicly announced, not even something as simple as "we are aware how broken they are, and we are working on it". It is either poor communication, or the Devs simply don't care. In either case, those are sign of poor management. In fact, this company is able to last that long is a bloody miracle. They have run 3 projects so far while two of them are proved to be unsuccessful. All they have now is a decade product which is some how their main source of income. And they even dare to claim themselves to be "One of the best game development studios in Russia" (I don't know about the laws in Russia, but this is considered as false propaganda and a crime in many countries and regions, because they didn't back up the claim. e.g. by referencing a market survey or study, usually appear as a footnote in a very small font). 33% successful rate and it is already one of the best? Seriously? I have no trust to a company that shameless. I have zero hope the Devs will fix it anytime soon, given how the Devs handle similar events previously. I wouldn't rule out any surprises though, may be the Devs decided to finally their job and nerf Tesla this week.
  23. As I expected, there are army of Tesla ruining this game, exactly like how there were Hornets everywhere previously. Now I have no idea is this the Dev's strategy or are they that ignorant and failed to realized how disgusting Tesla is. I think I should plan my leave now, just like how I did with the old Hornet.

    That because you have Tesla protection. Every turrets are useless if the entire enemy team have 50% damage reduction against you (happens on me quite often when I destroy the enemy team with Vulcan). I would say both turrets are OP in this stage when dealing with non-melee turret users. When they are fighting each other, it depends on the users. Freeze and circle around the Tesla while Tesla can shoot a lightning orb and hold down the fire button towards it. It doesn't matter where the freeze is, it will still being damaged.
