What do you mean it isn't valid.

Oh, even worse. I'm not sure is it just me but I noticed recently more high level players intentionally equip low level gears and join MM. Not sure why.

Does gamethrowing violate any rules in Tanki?
Cleric replied to Cleric in Does gamethrowing violate any rules in Tanki? Archive
Definition of gamethrowing: "the deliberate action to intentionally lose a game, and/or having your entire team lose a game" In Tanki, this includes but not limited to Intentionally equipping low level gears in a high level MM game (except when special missions are available like the one we got not long ago) AFK Spending most of the time chatting in a MM game. Sabotage (e.g. intentionally shot on allies with high impact turrets to throw off their aim) Intentionally letting the enemy team to win (e.g. intentionally letting enemy to capture the flag in CTF mode) Does any of these acts violate any rules in Tanki and may or may not require any discipline actions? -
Ares, Titan and Mammoth with Vulcan, which one do you prefer? Assume all equipment (e.g. drones, augments) are available. I'm mainly play CTF and occasionally Siege.
-
So which hull works best with Vulcan now after the rebalance and Ares release, assume players have full access to all equipment (augments, drones, etc)?

When I have the highest score in the entire match (including both ally and enemy team) but we are being destroyed because the rest of my team sucks.

I believe that is in fact a FPS cap, not V-Sync. Anyway, have a look at this link, the Uncapping the max FPS section: https://help.tankionline.com/knowledge-bases/7/articles/60073-how-to-raise-fps-on-the-new-html5-version

The thing is, 10 gold boxes is equivalent to 10k crystals. Even if you or me managed to catch all of them (which we all know is basically impossible), does it even matter besides of excitement perhaps? 10k crystals means nothing for both of us because 1 single MU is easily few times the cost of it in our rank. Who would actually want the golds? Those in the low rank brackets.

I wonder why people think Ares works well with Gauss?
-
I think we have a misunderstanding. Allow me to clarify that, I was not asking which hull should I get next, besides the one I have. I was asking which hull, regardless whether it is a light, medium or heavy hull or whether I have owned it or not, works best with Vulcan.
-
@TheCongoSpider I notice you didn't mention/recommend heavy hulls, are there any reasons for that?
-
Agree, in fact I saw this combo quite often, although the super speed boost of Crisis kind of compensate the slow speed of a heavy hull. Can you elaborate that?
-
Looking for 2nd opinion, which hull do you guys think pairs well with Vulcan (Previously using Titan and currently using Ares)? Here is some info about my garage: I have Rubberized rounds and Incendiary band I have Crisis drone (luck drop) I have Heat Immunity (or gonna buy/get it if I don't have one for the recommended hull)

And make sure you are stationary or traveling backward while doing so, otherwise you will be the one being nuked.
-
Also, Flash technically doesn't have resolution because it is vector graphic. i.e. It will still being displayed the same even if you paly it on a 8K TV.
-
Crystal? Yes. XP? Not so much.

I think yes, but I believe the freezing effect will slowly build up like Freeze. As for what is the build up rate, well this can be discussed for balancing.
-
Come on, I know the description does not make much sense, but you get the idea. It is basically a "reverse" Incendiary Band. As for the description, what about: "As part of the cooling system has been allocated to create frozen projectiles, the overall cooling capability of the system has been weaken."

Personal opinion: Ares's OD Remove explosion when the orb hits obstacles. Seriously, the explosion seldom kills enemies since in order for the explosion to do its job: There is an obstacle behind the enemies. You must have maintain certain distance between you and the enemies (or you will be blown into pieces together with the enemies) Enemies must not move away or back off. I find the explosion kills me more often than killing the enemies.
-
For me, position adjustment is fine, except when someone comes from behind, which the slow rotation speed of both Vulcan and Ares make it very hard to deal with.
-
That's why I hate the explosion at the end. Notice you have to stop traveling before firing the orb? That's because if you don't do so, the orb will slowly travel to the ground as Ares is slight tilting to the direction it travels and explode and blow you into pieces. Also, noticed how much damage does the orb done to Ares itself at the end. I really want devs to remove self damage from the orb (maybe keep the knock back) or simply remove the explosion entirely.

I'm playing Ares with Vulcan since it is officially released, which it replaces my Titan. I mostly play CTF and recently Siege, except while trying to complete daily missions which requires me to play in a particular game mode. Here is what I thought about Ares. Pros Highly maneuverable for a heavy hull since it can move in all directions without turning It's quite fast for a heavy hull (slightly faster than Titan). Its OD works quite well in game modes which enemies/allies tend to cluster together like CTF and Siege. Cons Quite unstable. A slightly bump from any hulls (even light hulls!!) can ruin your shot. This makes it combo poorly with turrets that has high damage but low firing rate (except those which lock on to target like Gauss and Striker). Yet, since I'm playing Vulcan, this does not affect me that much. It is extremely unresponsive if you try to go to the opposite direction while traveling in one particular direction in full speed. (Try going forward in full speed and immediately attempt to go backward) Horrible power. Seriously, Ares can't push anyone. It has the lowest power in game, even lower than Wasp. OD does not help that much in quite a bit of game modes, especially those which enemies/allies tends to scatter around the map (e.g. TDM). The final explosion of the OD when it hits obstacle defeats the purposes of the OD. Ares is supposed to stay close to its OD in order to receive unlimited healing. While your own OD, your ultimate, your supposedly the best skill, kills you at the end? Seriously? The art style of Ares is leaning more towards the Ultra skins with higher polygon count and more "complex" design (compare to the old models), which some players may find it look weird when pair with some classic turrets.
-
That's Siege mode right? Ares's OD is clearly working great in there since most players will clustered around the point.

Vulcan Augment (Sorry don't have a cool name yet) + Convert to hit-scan / Significantly increase projectile speed - Reduce damage This basically make it feel similar or the same as the original Vulcan. Currently, it is very hard to track moving targets in mid to long range with Vulcan.
-
I personally like Ares more than Titan. It is more maneuverable since it can move in all directions and slightly faster than Titan. Yes, Ares drifts quite a bit, but it is not that a big problem for Vulcan, since missing a few shot has little impact on the overall damage of Vulcan. After using Incendiary Band (actually after they introduced projectile speed to Vulcan), I'm no longer able to track horizontal moving targets in mid to long range. I really miss the old hit-scan Vulcan. Yet, the DOT kind of compensate with that since for target at longer range, you just have to "tag" him a bit and the DOT will kick in and do its job. Most importantly, the damage of DOT does not affected by range.
