    Changing how equipments' upgrading works

    I see many people of the rank Legend, but only a few with 9999 GS. Even if we exclude the 4 slot and count 9699 as max GS, there are comparatively few. This not only is a bad sign in my opinion, but also is very painful to play against. I am using Gear Score as a measure of equipment strength so yeah. It doesn't really feel good for anyone to just get one shotted most of the time by your opponents. Why does this happen? The main reason I believe this happens is because of the extreme or high costs of equipment. How can a poor soul upgrade something worth 1 million? If you look at my ratings page, you'll see that I'd earned only 1M crystals till now. This is in turn connected to experience boost. People now rank up faster than they earn crystals. So they end up with lower grade equipment but at insanely high ranks. So how do I suggest to solve this problem? Well I think it would be best if we add a new mechanism with which people upgrade their equipment by earning more experience with that particular equipment. This will work for Hulls, Turrets and Protection modules. Say for instance you earn 10 000 exp with Railgun Mk1, you unlock Mk2. This number will increase from Mk1 to Mk7. Once you reach Mk7, you are not going to unlock any other modification but just keep upgrading the one you have and get it to Mk8. With this, I believe that everyone will have enough crystals to buy and upgrade drones. They will also have sufficient resources to get supplies to feed their drones and can use the drone of their choice without the fear of running out of batteries. So what do you think huh? Will it solve our problems?

    Well you can definitely write and post it in AWS(Amateur Writing Section). We'll read your article and if we find it worthy or good enough to be published in the Newspaper, we'll publish it. But yes, usually it is the Reporters who write articles.
  3. Well I don't really understand why you wanna turn thunder into magnum when you already have a thing called magnum. ? It is like, give a cat a super potion and turn it into a dog. Why turn a cat into a dog at the first place, when you already have a better dog.
  4. Well, I don't suppose it would be good for a tracked hull to jump. We'd be diverging from the reality day by day. ? Secondly, well, you'll have 10 hulls at the moment and given 2 modes for each one, you'll have 20 different looking "things" in the game. I think that's too much of a variety. ?

    The way rewards of challenges are right now, NO. I really don't prefer shot effects duh. Augments like Blunderbuss, which give you functional advantage are what I prefer. Anyway let us all hope to get what we like ? ?.
  6. Agreed. I do remember seeing this idea being suggested quite a while ago. Well I don't know if I like it or not duh. I don't think tracked hulls and hovering hulls will be unique anymore if you have both hovering and tracked options for a hull. They'll kinda lose their uniqueness, at least in one way.
  7. So the thing is that Magnum's Projectile's motion does not include the speed of the tank. The owner of this topic suggests for it to include it, which sounds pretty small of a change but in reality is a very big change. So let us say that Magnum's projectile includes the speed of the tank as well. Now this doesn't change anything to campers who seldom move but keep firing from just one place. They are not going to notice anything different but for those Magnum users who aren't campers this literally forces them to learn to use this turret once again. Why? Well, you'll understand soon enough. Right now, let us assume that you shoot vertically upward while moving(You are driving in a straight path). The shot lands behind you, considering how the game's physics are right now. With a bit of high school knowledge of projectile motion, you'll figure that the projectile doesn't have a horizontal component but only vertical component. This does not happen in reality. Why? Because the projectile has been projected from the tank, the projectile will itself have a horizontal component, which is equal to the velocity of the tank. So if you consider this as well, then the shot will not land behind you but will land ON you(even though you are moving). Now this becomes a real big problem when you are moving and the angle isn't 90 degrees. So your speed, turret's angle and the power of the shot are three variables which decide where your shot is going to land, when you are moving. Magnum right now has 2 variables which already make it a difficult-to-master turret, but with this I guess it will be permanently turned into a Camper turret. Well not all games totally comply with physics, so I guess it is fine to leave the turret the way it is.
