yes... ive been a huge fan of striker since it came out... until gauss came out.... so here is the question. is striker really viable? i pretty much think striker is trash at this point, until i saw one of the striker god clash701's videos... but i noticed 1 thing... he pretty much plays arcade uranium with viking overdrive in JGR mode exclusively... is striker only good at JGR? is it's salvo useless? i rlly dont know at this point...

ok so I am a pretty new player... I started in early 2017.... got bored... quit for a year and a half, just recently came back to the game... anyways gotta get to the point has the crystal value inflated greatly? back then a mammoth mk1 would cost me 1.8k crystals and I took me 2 days. i just gotta scoff at 1.8k crystals as if i tryhard against the poor n00Bs in the current mm battles (yes mm is broken), i could, with little luck, get that amount in two battles... back then i want a amazing player... but even if i havent improved, back then i could only get 50-150 crystals a game... lol yeah so someone send me links to a patch note or sth pls -

haha im a hopper noob too... or i was forced to be one it breaks my heart everytime i need to jump for gold... i main hopper not cus of its ability to gold, but its movement XD

since auguments are viable option and i finally have the crystals to buy them, can some of you guys give me some suggestions on what to buy? i am considring hyperspace rounds, autocannon, and cyclone. short question, pls give me short answer and why ?????

hopper. golds event. I have never seen such chaos in tanki before. After this event, I take back all I have said about hopper. I've had enough. Hopper is absolutely broken in gold catching, and you devs should not even try to somewhat rebuke this claim. just go play this event and see for yourself. Hopper's jump is just absolutely broken. It allows you to take golds before anyone else has a chance. To make things worse, It would stun your opponents. that gives normal, non jumping tanks no chance at all. What is so evil about this hull is that it gives you so much leverage over your opponents, your opponents NEED to use hopper. what do you get? AN ENTIRE SERVER OF HOPPERS! and what if your not a hopper? no gold for you. This is what is so evil. you need to be a hopper to catch golds. IS THAT BALANCING? everyone should have a chance at the gold box. this would give creative tankers and parkourists the time to showcase theirs skills. it is so stupid that a hopper can just press "shift", and instantly, it gets to the gold, way before everyone else. I really don't care a tiny bit about the 1000 crystals, but the devs made it a challenge! how stupid is that? forcing everyone to use hopper in a stupid battle for 7 ultras? don't even bother making a gold event in the future. It is broken, tanki golds are broken, golds are just unfair. There is no solution to this problem, as golds show up in MM battles, but put a standard setup that is NOT hopper in the event the next time for gods sake. thats the end of the rant. thanks, hopper- 12 replies

here is a idea for a new hull. no name cus im not creative and cant think of one. it is a normal hull, not hovering. light hull. speed slower than wasp and hornet but faster than hopper turn speed mediocre now the juicy part, overdrive overdrive: charge during it's overdrive, that lasts 3 seconds, the hull would divert all power to it's engines. it's turret would be deactivated for the duration. the robot will rapidly accelerate, to 50 m/s (idk what is in game measurement). the speed heats up the hull, dealing incredible damage to anyone it touches during overdrive duration. during this, the heat generated by the rapid acceleration would lower damage taken by 75%, or 50% if enemy is using double damage. the hull can not change direction during overdrive. damage resisitance would use same icon as crisis and defender, lasts 3 seconds upon contact with enemy, it will inflict 1500.00 damage at M1 and do burn damage speedy boi XD also, as a plus, the area that "charge" starts, within a 15 m radius, would be set on fire for 5 seconds, inflicting burn on anyone that touches it. enemies that are close to it during charge would be pushed away, similar to jug overdrive. leave ur comments down pls

I am sure everyone has seen this before... or not... why is isiada able to damage you thru walls? there are numerous times isiada damages me through walls. Is it a visual glitch or am i or the isiada laggin too hard? pls give me short answer for this short question. :D

tbh the striker buff is really miniscule it doesnt change anything about striker at all. striker is trash because of its lock on speed, the fact it has a laser, super dumb missles, and the fact that the striker cant hit anything in arcade mode. good article tho! :D

Welcome to my guide to TO Disclaimer- this was partially made to poke fun at the game balance, don't chew me out in comments for saying your favorite turret is bad How to start there are two ways you can start tonki. the first is to go down the path of the F2P being a f2p player. there is 1 piece of advice. grind. the rest is up to your container luck. as a p2w player, just buy 300 ultras and your all set! Hull advice hulls to use-hopper why hopper? hopper is super op hull. it's overdrive is broken, and can even rudely catch gold boxes in midair! however, it's movement really seals the deal. it has a incredible way of movement. all of the light hulls are good, hopper is best, but what is the worst? hornet. hornet is literally only good at one thing. killing titans. it is pretty much outclassed by wasp in every regard. this used to be the best light hull, but no longer is. Medium hull- Dictator and viking are both insane hulls. viking is a frontline attacker, while dictatior is the medic. dicator is also good for farming XP with mechanic and isiada. viking pairs well with hammer, and will utterly annihiliate juggernauts. heavy hull-titan This used to be the worst heavy hull before overdrives. it is literally broken now. it sets down a shield and the only thing that can kill you is someone with wasp or hornet. otherwise, you are literally immortal for 10 or so seconds. Weapon Advice melee range turrets all of these are great, but isiada is the worst. it is a healer weapon 'nuff said freeze and firebird are broken, but freeze reqires you to do laps around your opponent. short range turrets While Twins and ricochet aren't bad picks, hammer reings supreme. hammer was recently buffed to a incredible 4 second reload. it's clip has 3+2 if you have a augument. pairs well with viking overdrive Medium range turrets The only viable medium range turret i can think of is the thunder. in lower ranks it is a beast. in higer ranks youll be doing half of your damage half the time because a lot of people run protection against thunder Long range turrets use gauss. its broken. use it. get emp salvo if you want. 'nuff said What to avoid I'm gonna get so much hate for this avoid railgun. gauss outclasses. if you get used to it, in higher ranks, youll be doin half your damage. avoud striker. a fun turret, but it is made obsolete by gauss. avoid hopper in gold boxes unless you want people hating on you in chat and that is my quick guide to TO in 2021 -

1. minimap. this feature was added when the html 5 client was added. There are prolly two reasons it is underused. first of all, it highlights enemies in a very small radius. secondly, it was not in flash, and so many returning players wouldn't use it. TBH i don't know why this was even added... seems trash 2. look around feature (idk wut to call it) -default keybinds, mouse control on right click allows you to look around without moving your turret. srsly, devs, why does this even exist? just turn your turret around... second one is practically useless, but I think the minimap could be improved? take gta online, the minimap is so important in that game. if this could be worked on, and have a slightly better placement (top left), made slightly larger, showed the buildings, it could be able to bring balance changes, etc... like off the radar or sth heck, i don't even think half the tankers that see this in every battle even know its there XD -
@Maf yeah true, I play mostly non objective gamemodes... hopper in SGE is kinda broken sometimes when you stun 5+ people and u got a teammate with a gauss... but the fact that hopper jumps up gets annoying some times... cus then you cannot kill them.... I do not even play TJR with hopper; I run striker crusader. a shame neither of these two got buffed (striker buff is a waste)

after playing hopper for so many games, I still can't see why it is hated on. It seems just like a hull to me, not a monster. I do not find the hull OP. instead, I use it for it's versatility, and the fact that it is easier to use. while I agree that this hull may need some nerfs, I somehow feel like this was not the way to nerf it. Hopper already has the slowest acceleration out of the light hulls. meanwhile the other nerf, is somewhat needed. It would be unfair to inflict burn damage and die afterwards, killing the guy and getting alll charge back. TBH I think that we should keep the fact that you can heal during the stun period, that would be a slight nerf to the hopper. by fixing this, they indirectly buffed hopper this update. Hopper stun should only have a 50% chance to drop enemy flags, I see myself abusing this too much

all right, I got plenty of people pointing fingers at me. the first argument that you guys presented is the stars. that isn't my focus here. I am talking about the containers. the other argument is about wkly container contents. they do not give much supplies. and, what is the point of saving up the containers? the crystal amount is also abysmal, compared to the current economy. 90K for a defender, and then only god knows how much crystals to get it to the point when it actually makes a difference. sure it is guaranteed, and that is what limits how useful it can get.
