Back then, bundles and so-called special offers didn't exist. Heck, even Premium accounts weren't around until 2015. I know because I was there when that happened.

Was doing some research on drones and have a couple of points to make: 1. I thought Miner would be a cool drone to maybe upgrade, but then I realised it would be near useless in a 7 minute long battle. 2. Never knew Engineer activated supplies for everyone in your team when you collect the relevant supply box, no matter how far away they are. Idk why more people don't use this drone. Thoughts?

This topic is kinda sad. The original poster seemed desperate to see Tanki get its crap together, but unfortunately that didn't happen and he/she quit.

I wish this piece of advice was still relevant. With all the AP/EMP augments and OP drones, there's no way to beat a big buyer without becoming one yourself.

I actually disagree. The Russian TO Youtubers spend thousands on Ultra Containers and bundles, more than you might think. I think it's actually keeping the sinking ship afloat. At least for now.

Hmm I assumed that the same people that are responsible for designing in-game textures and paints also created the artworks in the announcements and banners. Guess I learned something new.

I'm talking about the people responsible for creating the artworks. I'm pretty sure that the artists are part of the dev team.

I wish they put that same amount of effort and dedication into balancing the game and making it less P2W.

But the battles weren't unbalanced and didn't last a pathetic 7 minutes or less. There may have been no missions/challenges/containers (good thing btw) but back then the purpose of the game was to progress and have fun in the process. Now, battles are only there for us to grind for stars/crystals/tankoins, etc. to spend/gamble on stupid cosmetics and augments. Clearly not a meaningful way to play the game.

It's not even about Western vs. Eastern Christianity's dates of celebrations though. It's about the Gregorian vs. Julian calendars - the Gregorian is used almost everywhere in the world, so why would the TO devs not use the dates in that calendar as opposed to the Julian one? Remember that Easter is also celebrated by non-religious people, in fact I'm pretty sure the devs themselves emphasised the non-religious aspects of the Easter celebration as they always do when it comes to events (apart from something like the Holi event in the past).

Honestly this is why a battle list is far superior to MM in this sense, you pick and choose the battles you want to play. Moreover, 7 min. battles are way too short for any meaningful strategy - which is partially why the game feels so meaningless and futile these days.

We're talking about speed boosts here, not double armors or double damages. I feel like many players underuse speed boosts, just like mines, so I imagine that running out won't be a major issue in that regard. But we'll have to wait and see. Still, though, making such crazy speeds available through a drone that is easy to acquire (unlike Crisis) is a terrible move by the devs.

@Hunter_Smoky_Green Don't bother, unless you're fine putting up with the developers' constant crap. I'm just hanging around here for the nostalgia, nothing more. Just something to consider: Soon, the Trickster drone will be reworked to have a significant speed-boost (like Crisis) and it's currently purchasable for crystals. I imagine that won't change with the new update. And with Trickster you can have DA and DD active SIMULTANEOUSLY with the extra boosted speed. Just imagine all the Hopper-Tricksters zooming around at incredible speeds in CTFs and RGBs - those modes will be even more unplayable.
