The game barely has any strategy left at all, so many status effects and debuffs. In many modes it's just press Shift and you win, pretty much. -

@Tanker-Arthur To me, the game reached its peak in 2015, just before Premium accounts were introduced - it's all downhill from there, slowly but surely.

I've been watching this review site lately (https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/tankionline.com) and the negative reviews of the game keep rolling in, especially from the US and GB, but not just from these places. What do you guys think of this? Did any of you write a review here? -
I just realised product kits haven't had paints as part of the set for a while now... also, they're unbalanced because buyers can get the next modification at a GREATER discount (-30% as opposed to -15% for kits purchasable for crystals).

I personally believe they only revert updates if there's a big enough outcry in the Russian community - they don't care about the other communities' opinions. As far as I can tell, the Russian community hasn't been too happy with this update.

How come they've removed this update on the test server? Could they actually revert it? And if that's the case - how will they compensate everyone who spent a fortune in crystals upgrading Brutus or other drones to max?

@Emeraldcat345 If you think the game is slow-paced at Recruit level, you have no idea how slow it was before the physics change of ~2014 (iirc). Before that, tanks were literally crawling at a ridiculously slow pace and turret rotation was equally horrendous. Also, can I just point out that you're whole argument about how quickly new players learn the game is destroyed by the fact that the average age of a Tanki player is about 12-13 or something like that (I remember the devs said this in a Vlog or something a few years ago) - you're severely overestimating the ability of people of that age to think strategically when it comes to video games, especially one they're not familiar with or are new to.

Technically speaking, with maxed Crisis this combo actually isn't so bad.

This is why, out of the heavy hulls, I much prefer Mammoth because of its superior OD. Titan's OD has so many counters these days and imo it's just not as practical as it used to be. On the other hand, Mammoth's OD boosts its speed, makes it immune to all status effects for the duration, creates a death field around it, and after the most recent patch, charges faster than before.

What year are you referring to here? I started playing in 2013 (not on this account) and I don't remember being able to have M3s at 2nd Lieutenant.

The devs gave up on adding the night theme to all the maps as far as I remember. Didn't they also say the night mode wouldn't work well in MM or something? -

It would be weird to have a summer theme without a winter one. Also it's a part of the game since the beginning. Honestly, bigger maps are much more fun in PRO battles; you're right - in MM, larger maps are full of campers and players doing nothing useful. I feel like the length of a battle should increase to allow for better strategy once again, seven minutes is just too short. Wasn't the whole reason battles were made seven minutes long just so that people could receive stars more often? Since we don't rely on battles for stars, MM should be changed back to longer battles imo. -
