A hull that can't fly onto walls and buildings and dominate battles all on it's own. Think that pretty much exonerates viking from being a OP GAME CHANGER as you seem to think it is, which of course it's not. The flying cheat alongside paladin (no protection module) are the 2 that change the outlook of any battle in a instant, followed closely by hornet with active OD and after that, take your pick of all the OP augments that have flooded the game and turned it into a jumbled complicated mess, but nowhere near as complicated as the old upgrading process, which the devs thought in their infinite wisdom (greed) needed a update to make it "less complicated" for newbies ? complete trash. The game has become OTT, ultra container only for the benefit of buyers. The flying hack is exactly how I have described it and like paladin it's exactly how the devs want it, with no counter to it in battles until they have exhausted every possible way they can think of to make cash from the noobish buyers. Viking is not OP, the flying hack is.

It tells you a lot about how insanely broken TO is when a jug gets wiped out by a hornet user with OD activated. TO (the devs) needs to take a step back and realise that their OP updates (gimmicks for buyers only) have truly destroyed the game. How long will this nonsense carry on for when the most powerful tank in the game gets taken out with relative ease by a (supposedly) much weaker one. This is why (jug included) MM battles are usually so one sided, because one team usually has more OP gimmicks than the other. It's rare that you have a balanced battle now, this is all down to the devs and their greed, which is why we will NEVER have a balanced game.

A sensible reply to counter my post about the flying hack, unlike the mods reply, because he couldn't come up with one so relied on sarcasm, he's also useless at that to. As you said, paladin is indeed broken and that is because the devs have not brought out a protection against it and we all no why. The flying hack is still the dominant factor in the majority of cap modes, but it is being closely run by the other intentional hack paladin. The main problem with TO (other than the little yes boys) is that the devs go OTT when bringing out new equipment just to make it a easier sell to get their fav players on board, the buyers. The lack of balance, unwanted updates and the ever increasing gimmicks have swamped the game and made it for many, unplayable in regards to having even a slight chance of competing with the buyers. Give the legal hack it's jump capability but nothing else, no climbing walls or buildings and lets have protection modules come out at the same time as any new turret, that to me at least seems reasonable.
-
And you no players in vast quantities that can do all this to prevent that hack from FLYING away with the flag. Nope, me neither. When in a battle do you have players switched on enough to stop/try and stop this hack from dominating most cap modes. Maybe 1in 50 will be aware of how to stop the hack and have the necessary skill to try and do so. Saying this and that will work looks fine on paper, trying to achieve it in battle is way harder. It's next to impossible with all the gimmicks you have to contend with besides the flying hack. It's strange that you have came out with "ALL" these counters, yet the hack still dominates a very high % of cap mode battles, care to elaborate how this is still the case. I could give you the answer but you already no it. Next time you post regarding this hack and counter measures, make sure it has viable options in battle and not just on a piece of paper, now that would be helpful.

@TheCongoSpider It was the only thing that could take on the LEGAL HACK with any chance of success. No lifers on their mobile EXPLOITING ALL cap modes and they continue to do so. Just as bad as paladin, another legal hack, saying as there is no protection from it, hammer all over again. Devs are a disgrace and players like you defending that hack play right into their hands. Cash rules and balance and any fair play have been non existent for a very long time. I no only to well how it was used, so what, it was nowhere near as broken as the legal hack and yet that still dominates and has had no nerf of any merit. The devs pander to buyers and what they want and that has spread onto the no lifers on their mobiles. The game is all but dead, full of cash only gimmicks that cost a fortune from ultra's that only buyers can obtain. Your a floating hull user so tesla would have been a big problem for you, especially if you used that legal hack of yours. Tesla and it's augment could not end/win a battle all on it's own, not unless it was paired with the legal hack. It's quite obvious which of the two is severely broken and needed the game changing nerf. That particular augment for tesla is useless compared to what it was, legal hack seems unaffected by it's "big nerf" still ending battles in quick time, or has that conveniently been omitted from memory saying as you use it.
-
Before they nerfed dilatory on tesla it was THE only solution that tackled (to a degree) the flying hack problem, now tesla is quite crap at doing that now, maybe the little hacks were crying to much when I was destroying them on a more regular basis than they were used to.

So lets clarify a important point. THE DEVS do not listen or act on ANY player feedback at all EVER, not important game changing (battles) feedback. If it appears that they do, then it's only by coincidence and is in line with whatever update they have planned to boost their coffers. It has nothing to do with "campers" ?
-
A minor miracle, but yeah what he said.
-
Complete tripe. We are pointing out the huge misgivings of TO created by the devs to obtain as much cash as possible whenever they can, disregarding balance in the process. Only a fool would like or agree with your post, and there you go.

Before @wolverine848 responds to your statement I will hazard a guess and say YOU are so very wrong. It's the direction the "DEVS" have taken TO that @wolverine848 is alluding to, not buyers per say. You really are way off the mark. Do you really think that buyers will tolerate this in enough numbers to make it a viable solution. Buyers "BUY" because it gives them a huge advantage in battle and you want to take that advantage away from them, like that's never going to happen and the devs would never alienate their fav players. Back onto the subject of this topic, I liked the video.

Back in the day before all of these gimmicks, it did take longer to rank to get to gizmo, which is the way it should be now when you are grinding towards legend. The devs say they want to take TO forward, to move with the times and not be static, hence the new interface, new HD skins, futuristic (TANKI X) maps etc. What bothers me is why do they have to change things around so often, bringing in new updates that have nothing to do with moving forward with TO. The new upgrading system has nothing to do with "moving forward" and everything to do with cashing in as much as they can on something that affects a huge proportion of the player base and leaves them with no choice but to either spend cash/cry, or end up with a vastly weakened garage when they do reach legend. The changed upgrading system is 1 of a multitude of changes the devs have made that has nothing to do with "moving forward" with the game. As for eventually getting your garage fully upgraded, when that "eventually" happens the game would have changed so many times that your garage will be lacking in so many things it will be back to square 1 all over again. Unless you can keep up by buying your way through the ranking process and onto legend, then your experience in TO is going to be a one were you constantly end up getting trashed by the buyers who have everything maxed way before your average player, months and even years compared to a lot of players. If you genuinely play for fun then none of this should bother you. If you are a player that likes to compete and takes TO seriously (the next level) then this should bother you a lot and "thanking" the devs for discounts in the garage after all the lame moves they have done to players is imo paying them lip service, which is one thing I will never do. They want genuine positive feedback from me, then they should start acting on players advice and stop bringing in these updates (gimmicks) that only further destroy any chance of competing against the prolific buyers and stop changing the parameters of the game every other week, further weakening the majority of players accounts. TO is no longer a "game of fun" it is a game of cash V luck and you get more luck the more cash you have. This is what TO has become so "thanking" the devs is a non starter for me.

@readyfireaim Nicely said.

Ah ok, like the devs do with it's player base, ok got that, no more defaming blah, blah and all that. At least I don't lie, there is that to consider, you have a splendid day now.

The upgrading system is trash. The devs destroyed it when they prevented players from upgrading a certain item fully if you passed that MK. As always it's to get players to spend more cash/cry. When they changed the upgrading process they claimed it was to make it easier for new players, whatever. I came up with a very fair solution that incorporated their idea perfectly. If you have a MK6 and it was 4/5 then the 4 upgrades you have already done should be deducted from the price. Newbies are not scratching their heads over the (very complicated ? ) upgrading system, "yeah whatever" and players are actually FOR ONCE getting a fair deal that doesn't exploit them by asking for even more cash/cry that most in situations like the one above, just do not have. This protection has been like this since the change came in, just like the 17 other modules on the 2 accounts I have that reached marshal, (this also includes any hull/turret stuck at MK6.) I had intended to play both accounts and get them to legend, never gonna happen, not now. 2 things have happened since the VERY COMPLICATED ?? upgrading system was scrapped. 1 I will never get either of these accounts to legend ? 2 I have no doubt saved a whole lot of cash ? especially with the now debunk system that allowed us to compete with our russian counterparts. Maybe the devs thought it was to complicated and decided that making us pay nearly 3X more than the russian players would make it easier for us, yeah that must be it.

Well said. The mods do as they are told, that is why they all give praise to anything and everything the devs post are bring out into the game. Little bo-peep and all that.
-
I think you are missing my point. You no exactly what I'm getting at, you have not earned anything like the players you are hand waving away. YOU were sussed out a long time ago.
-
Tell you what marcus. Get rid of your maxed out free garage and start over. Either spend your own cash, or GRIND from recruit to legend as a F2P and then you will realise that 50% means nothing when you have nothing, are you gotta use your own cash. See what it's like for normal players for once.
-
I think maybe one of the dev team mentioned that but hazel immediately had him fired and sent to alaska.

Well some of us (the level headed read between the lines kind of players) have seen this garbage to many times. The discount is never, ever any good because even with a % off in the shop the devs still take your eyes out and rob you blind. The devs deceive at every possible opportunity and at best they mislead players on a regular basis. They have proven themselves to be liars and con you with regular ease. You may not like to hear/believe this, but the way they have treat players over the years is beyond just moving TO forward for the benefit of the game. They are cash motivated and the "game" (TO) is just a means to a ends with no thought at all to what players think are want from the game. You are deluded if you think otherwise. @Akame @DieselPlatinum and many other good sensible posters no that the "game" needs buyers to survive, it also needs developers to understand that balance, shop prices, updates, etc need to be reasonable for all players. Give the buyers a edge for spending cash is only right imo, but also give the F2P a better incentive to invest in the game also (time, effort, playing the game) is a investment that we all do, not just buyers. TO took the wrong path a long, long time ago. It's not just because of buyers but because buyers are the only ones that the devs cater to. F2P are classed as 3rd rate players who "just" make up the numbers.

Yawn. If you say so. €200 is still 200 no matter which way you cut it, complete rip off.

update Patch Update #669 - Released 19th November 2021

Just like pairing incendiary with heat immunity was intentional for a very long time, that is until they scrapped it and claimed it was a bug (glitch) They have a devious streak a mile long, slightly shorter than the dusseldorf map. It's a wonder anyone believes anything they say, but some players still think they walk on water and that the legal hack is just fine the way it is. -
Typical G/S of most high ranked players in TO. Way to go devs.

Devs doing what the devs do best, making cash from the heavy buyers and the gullible. They change the parameters of the game to suit their own greedy purpose. These update changes are trash and only further enhance the utter contempt they have for players. F2P/P2W, they sucker them all with their gimmicks and they are to blind to see it, especially the noobish buyers. -
update Patch Update #669 - Released 19th November 2021
IMPULSE-WARRIOR replied to Marcus in News Archive
They had that to start with. All these crits and augments have ruined the game. Whatever the devs have planned for thunder or any other turret/hull, it will be based on how much they can make from it via cold hard cash, are making players use up whatever cry they have. Before these appalling updates in all their guises (emp, crits, stun, etc) were introduced, every hull/turret was unique and had a role to play in battle. They all offered different ways to engage in battle and players used what they enjoyed playing with the most. Now it's all about "the strongest update" which dictates for a lot of players what combo to use. The game is a mess and is slowly dying. Thunder is just one in a very long list of terrible decisions the devs have made and because they have brought in so many gimmicks, the only way forward for them is to just keep on doing it because reversing any of them (which is needed) is just never going to happen.
