The part before the word "due": I think it means you can still watch the ads, you just wont get rewarded for it though. The part after the word "due": Simply nothing more than an excuse to do this. The real reason is to keep more money from spilling out of their pockets. -

Speaking of the new system. Judging by @Bydo's screenshot, it looks like it was rushed in 5 minutes. I think that's all we are gonna get over there. There are already lots of things there that need improvement, but it'll for sure cost money. I can see why they went with the 5 minute route. -

To be honest, there's a fine line between needing money for updates and being straight up greedy for money. If they were in need of money, they could've added a donations feature. I'm sure there are players out there that are more than happy to donate their money to support a cause. However, the updates that have been getting released lately pretty much proves that the devs are just greedy for money. -

Nah man, its simply a revenue source to the devs. And when they do decide to overbuff it, it'll earn them alot more. -
Flip a coin. Striker - heads Thunder - tails Whatever side is facing up after the coin flip will be the better turret in your opinion.

So it basically eats up some of the battle time? -

Nah, I'm good. I'd rather not ruin the good life I'm currently living simply by playing this sorry excuse of a game. I'd rather have someone who still plays to answer my questions. That would be a much better idea. -

I think he means that they failed to clarify in how exactly it'll work. I myself have questions that need answers: 1) Will players have to load into the lobby phase of the battle and then again to get into the actual battle? 2) Will that lobby time mean that players will now only have 14 minutes to play the actual battle? 3) Will players entering late have to go through this process regardless of how much time is left of the battle? -

That's likely just an excuse they made up so that they can freeze the rewards. In other words, another way to keep money from spilling out of their pockets. -
I don't even watch their vlogs because they're practically brainwashing tools and they waste 5-10 minutes of my day. If something happens, you'd expect them to fix it ASAP, wouldn't you? Instead in most cases they just leave it alone after they break it. If there's one thing they're good at, its making the game more p2w with each update. I don't think the player base of this day and age would want to see ideas and suggestions from 2014 to be implemented into the game today. Most of which were made with a totally different version of the game in mind. As time passes, the game changes, and so to do peoples opinions. If the devs really want to take us seriously, a good first step would be to scrap the implementation plans of the ideas made in 2014-2019. And start planning for the ideas of 2020-present as those or much closer to what the player base of this day and age wants to see.

What the heck are these "contracts" he keeps talking about?
-
Doesn't really look like he's hiding anything. I think he's just joking about it just to joke about it.
-
What about my forum ignore list improvement suggestion or @Incorp's improvement suggestion on forum PMs? Any update on whether or not those will be added anytime soon?
-
If you're talking about songs like this, then I think they're great.
-
The devs might actually do this because it could potentially earn them more profits. I myself don't like the idea, but I could see it happening in the near future.
-
As much as I like the idea, at this point, I really don't think they'll do this as it'll be a loss to their income.

Ok thank you.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
BruhBruhThingThing replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Once again a mess? Its been a mess for a long while. The only difference between then and now is that now the mess has gotten so much worse in such a short span of time. Also has existed for just as long. Again nothing new. The devs have been greedy for money like always. This is the only thing here that's new. Basically another strategy to profit. Wreck the income of those under you sort of deal. -
update Patch Update #679 - Released 18th February 2022
BruhBruhThingThing replied to Marcus in News Archive
Most likely never unless one of two things happen: 1) the devs either change their ways or get replaced by devs that will actually listen to their players. OR 2) it gets to the point where it is extremely rare to find anything thunder related in someone's garage, as a result they'll overbuff it to gain a huge profit from it. -

The answer to these questions are very simple that you don't need to ask the lead dev. Reason why they made those changes was because they're greedy for money. All the bad updates they made was to satisfy their greed. Even the new interface and logo was made to draw in a much younger audience (kid age at this point) so that they can take advantage of their gullibility. That gullibility will make them want all these "cool" items they see in the shop, that they'll do anything to get it. And thus the devs will make massive profits off of that gullibility -
Forum admins and mods are in charge of making changes in the forum like adding new features and changing the background, right?

update Patch Update #679 - Released 18th February 2022

Yep, this game really took a nosedive when they decided to add drones, overdrives, status effects, and critical damage. And then the devs have the audacity to claim that they care about their players. If they really cared about their players they would not have added those gimmicks or done many other terrible updates. Every update they put in just seems to be more damning evidence that they only care about making profits. -
Well, except for those that continue to play for long hours after completing their missions. I think what the TS is trying to say is "would you rather have player A be in your team or player B?" Player A just camped in his base to protect his K/D and at the end of the battle got 4 kills, 0 deaths, and 50 points. Player B put in alot of effort in trying to help his team win and at the end of the battle got 24 kills and 630 points.
