    War 2025

    Event is slowly coming to an end. I guess it’s time to say few words about it. In general, I have mixed feelings about it. It has both many advantages, but also disadvantages. Advantages: - Cheap price for joining – Just 100 rubies. I’d say it’s possible to enter for everyone for really small price (literally same amount of rubies you get from last tier of challenges). And the fact there was even a small compensation for problems, which had 100 rubies and a day for premium. I’d even say there was possibility to join it for free. - Guaranteed prizes – I mean those for fractions final ranking. All participants can receive it. And since we received a compensation, which I mentioned above, I can say we literally get free prizes. Plus fact stars from daily missions also count, which made it more easy to get keys from event (participation prizes). Three factions, prizes for three places (for 1st place, 2nd, 3rd).Which team which place will reach, it’s to be decided, although there is some speculation ? - Secret territories - That’s a really fun thing there, a competition to receive a new territory with a Legendary key. And also epic keys when having Premium, Elite Pass or Battle Pass. I like the fact there are such territories. Good addition to spice up competition. Disadvantages: - Fact that bought stars also count for that event – The fun-destroying fact that ruined that War. Possibility to buy stars, saving thousands of them and vote 1,2 or 3 minutes before turn ends to make a sudden turnover and from losing by like hundreds of stars you win by like above 400 stars or more. Or maybe build such big advantage to scare enemy to even try defend/attack a certain territory. I guess luckily we received such info pretty late, but ofc it still might be a game-changer (maybe if that’s not „luckily”, maybe answer should be „yesn’t”?). Don’t you already have Challenge Accepted thingy? More star-buying-related events must be there to get thousands of $$$? It would be a lot better if the bought stars wouldn't be counted at all, but ofc, it’s too late to change that. Just please, don’t do the same mistake again. - Possibility to vote for territories which don’t border with enemies’ territories – I think that’s a big problem, since many people literally wasted/wasts stars for such territories that didn’t even border „front line”. It’s not even possible to attack territories that aren’t bordering with that „battlefield”, so there is literally no point on doing that (like defending Capital in Turn 4). Next time there should be some kind of block that prevents people from voting on territories which aren’t endangered by enemy attack (Like Wave, Combe, Opposition, Ping Pong, Magadan in this war, where as I mentioned you can’t attack field that doesn’t border with enemy team). That will be more effective to help your own team actually win or fiercely fight for certain territories. And maybe won’t scare people from attacking/defending on certain fields where there’s many stars already located. Currently, that „no-block” made many trolls to literally SABOTAGE own team just for their own benefits (keys). - Buying Battle Pass again – Yeah, it’s also pretty controversial, because twice in a month there’s a new challenge and some have to spend Rubies again to get bonus keys. I’m not sure if option if once bought Battle Pass, it allows players to get bonus keys for WHOLE duration of event will be accepted. But it’s kinda cool idea. Ofc dreams :S Neutral (might be disadvantages or advantages in once, or advantages for ones and disadvantages for others): - Secret territory „rules of the duel” – Here I mean the fact that you don’t get anything if you try to capture it, but failed. Not standard one and no prizes in general. But why I placed it in neutral? Because IMO this is like a big fight to get legendary key (which is also possible to get by being in winning fraction, which gets in 1st place) and also some epic keys. It’s for a big prize, so there must be a big fight and some risks when deciding to try. Like getting legendary key only on 1st turn it appears, not getting anything when failing, more stars required (10 stars contributed). I kinda understand that. - Information where secret territory will appear – Also a fact that might disturb many players. But, „secret” in their name mean that it’s a secret when it will appear. BUT, maybe giving all those secret territories same time of appearance might be a good idea. Yeah, hope such things will be in next War event. At the same time all secret territory appears and 2 territories for each faction to fight. It could be done better. I think this event is really good and cool, but ofc it could be done better in few aspects. For only 100 Rubies, that are possible to get from last tier of challenges, so like FREE event (+ compensation with 100 Rubies) it’s really worth it. Unless someone doesn’t save Rubies at all it’s unaccessable or is fed up with key prizes due to bad luck when opening containers, but IG that’s understandable. Would be awesome to see such War event again in game with improvments.

    Such situation happens because of using the option "Quick Battle" which give bonus star for player after reaching 100 reputation points and reaching TOP-3. That player from second place must've queued "Quick Battle". If you also want to get more stars, just choose "Quick Battle".     Tanki Classic news about missions and challenge tiers. A. Missions Screen for daily and weekly missions along with challenge tab is completed in 90% There are 3 daily missions, which don't change and offer: 5 Stars Total of 10 units of each five supplies (10 Mines, 10 Boosted Damage, 10 Boosted Speed, 10 Boosted Armour and 10 Repair kits) There are 3 weekly missions, which give: 10 Stars 1 Container B. Challenges Divided into Silver and Gold Tiers Lasts entire month Silver Line contains: 17 Containers, 2600 Crystals, 30 units of each supply and 1 Gold Box Gold Line contains: 51 Containers, 7800 Crystals, 90 units of each supply and 3 Gold Boxes Stars are earned ONLY via completing missions Consists of 50 levels, most concentrated rewards are in first 40 levels, for example: Gold Box is in Level 39 10 Containers in Level 40 On further levels there's 100 crystals for Silver Tier and 300 crystals in Gold Tier ("are more like bonuses for the most dedicated players.") C. Sum questions with calculations Q: "How many challenge levels will I complete if I play all week?"; "How many supplies will I have on my account if I play all week?" A: 15 stars/day * 7 days + 30 stars from weekly missions = 135 Stars/week + 13 levels of progress; 50 suppplies per day * 7 days + 50 units from silver tier rewards = 400 supplies/week D. "Homework" for players: How many supplies will you have from both tiers in a month? Additional: Calculate how many days are needed to complete entire challenge (Last tier is 49 according to what has been shown to us in V-LOG) Crystals weren't included in calculations, because players decide how to spend them

    Just wonderful. Another buff of hover hulls like they aren't already OP enough with those Excelsiors/Lifeguards etc. on battles while giving some slight nerf... Looks like for certain people it's still too little players playing those hover hulls. Can't wait for way more hover hulls on flat maps like Desert or maps with a lot of flat surface. Planes Online

    "Tanki Classic" release

    Tanki Classic news about textures and models. The model format, which is going to be used for TC is FBX. It's already being used in T.O. Most of the original textures got optimized. They look cleaner and more precise. Weapons in garage are in their places and display correctly. Adding all turrets and hulls has been completed. Garage got more detailed. Old texture got scoured, reassembled and baked in high quality. Now we can see small inscriptions and elements. Looks the same, but without unnecessary compresion. The "favourite" icon is available for turrets and hulls, not only paints. If you click on favourite equipment, it will appear first on the list. Programmers optimize Classic to make sure it runs quickly and stable. Reviving old code (from almost 7 years ago) isn't that easy. It's not that they redo every piece of code. Work is essential to have all modern features there and guarantee long-term support for years. Steam page appeared for TC in August and you can add it there to wishlist. <---- (I guess everyone knows it [perhaps])

    Tanker’s Day 2025

    Really, really glad to see reduction of supply X required to complete missions (From 300 in SSG 2025 to 200 in Summer Festival to be reduced to 100 in this event) and one less missions to use X supply Y times (From 2 to 1). That's a big W. It was really tiring to do such missions for a week to get another set of missions with using so many X supplies to complete them. Regarding the first "Old School" special mode, really enjoyed playing it. Pretty balanced with no critical damage dealt to enemies with Smoky (big W) where skill matters (or cleverness, as you prefer). And those Smoky and Wasp VT skins, they looked awesome!!! Can't wait for such special mode to appear again in the game. Not necessarily with same skins for everyone, it can be without or with them (whether player has already equipped them before joining such special modes or not). Gold Box festive skin looks cool. Keep it up for next events!

    "Tanki Classic" release

    Another V-LOG and another Information regarding Tanki Classic Early Access phase is over, special offers for it are no longer available Next phase is going to take time (they didn't give any specific dates) Introducing new section to V-LOGs called "Classic Development Diary". That section will tell about how Tanki Classic is being developed step by step. First information regarding progression: Player's Garage in lobby is prepared and loaded + spinning and displaying assembled tank. Lobby and setting screens are being gradually assembled. They aren't perfect, there might be incorrectly displayed texts, temporary parameters of turrets or incorrect icons. Main task is to make equipment preview and correct display in garage. Some tanks looks the same as it is in T.O Game hints are ready in 90%. Those hints won't have text, because "images speak for themselves" Classic drops are almost ready. Drop zones got redrawn, boxes have old look and parachutes are being added. Cargo drones will disappear. Sound effects when activating supplies and when supplies drop will be replaced. Green text means completed/done. Orange text means work in progress/not yet done. Blue text means it's planned and not working on it yet. More information about progress in next V-LOG!!

    «Cybertank 2025» Mini-game

    Another mini-game and another huge disappointment. Disadvantages: Contracts - Once again this topic... Silver Contract costing 60k crystals?! Meanwhile in previous "Tanks in Space" minigame it was 50k crystals, and in last year CyberTank 2024 mini-game it was 30k crystals. Another increase of their price?! Do you really think players don't have anything to spend their crystals on except for supplies and won't care about costs of buying those Silver Contracts and keep buying it?! Sadly, there will be some people who will speedrun with it and/or won't care about price, but still many won't even buy them, cause it's not worth it at all. Once again same amount of moves (10 Energies = 1 move) for more crystals. No wonder people decide to not buy them at all. So now we can expect higher prices in future mini-games, hmm?! I better not tell how much since it could be treated as idea/suggestion, so better not tell specifics. Good reason to not continue grinding to get those prizes for f2p way after completing mini-game special missions. Moves - This turns out to be corrected by now, but that's interesting how it was terribly organised when publishing information about the mini-game in Youtube Shorts and in this article above. Cause at the beginning it was in that article that "To make a move, you will need to roll the dice. On each move, you can progress one or two steps forward. On each lap there will be a different amount of glitches. Land on them can throw you one step back." Meanwhile the YouTube Shorts video with "Quick Start Guide" telling "We want to warn you that the board contains contains dangerous cells; they have a 50% chance of throwing you back 2 cells". So for pretty 2-3 days (+-) There were 2 different statements regarding amount of steps that can take us backwords. Luckily it was corrected to avoid any confusion but still, it shouldn't happen at all. Here are screenshots of such situation in spoiler under my thoughts. Also 50% for -2 steps backwords, when there's rare chances of getting +2 steps forwards (mainly +1 forward). Why it can't be written what are the chances of those one or two steps forwards? Like 40% or 30% chances of getting +2 steps forward and 60% or 70% of getting +1 step forward. Again no compensation for protection module slot when having all of them already unlocked?! Another good reason to not continue grinding for it. So it's clearly not worth going to even 2nd checkpoint for those prizes. Spend above half a milion crystals or more (depends on luck) for 15 common keys, +1 protection module slot and 10 nuclear energies, which aren't often used. Way better to get common keys them from challenges, SSG event special missions and other missions (daily + weekly), way better to get protection modules bought manually with crystals for 555k crystals (5k for 2nd slot, 50k for 3rd slot and 500k for 4th slot) or a bit less when having already some of the slots. Mini-game not worth the effort. I ain't gonna elaborate further about skins there because it's a matter of individual taste. Regarding augments, don't have them (yet), some might be good, some might be bad, don't know.

    Summer Sport Games 2025

    A few comments: As it was stated above, special missions requiring to use 300 repair kits and 300 mines is really too much. I would understand missions with using 300 Boosted Armors, Boosted Damage or Speed Boost since they're easy to do with Crisis or Hyperion thanks to reduction of cooldown time of supplies for them, especially with first one which allows us to switch between those kind of supplies in less than 2 seconds except lvl 0 upgrade. But for repair kits and mines it takes way longer!! In case of those both supplies only thing that allows us to complete them a bit faster are active drones related to them (Mechanic drone for Repair Kits and Saboteur for Mines). And only thing they help are reduced cooldowns. And I have a really good question about it: Since those drones consumes additional units of those supplies, why they aren't counted into those missions?! What are you going to say?! "No no, that would make it too easy"?! Meanwhile Crisis drone literally allowing to switch between supplies in less than 2 seconds (depends how much is that drone upgraded) and allowing to make missions with using 300 BD, BA, SB in like 3-4 battles and like less than an hour, meanwhile when it comes to mines and repair kits it takes hours. Why not to maybe implement such solution? By using Saboteur or Mechanic we could way easier complete that missions and maybe "advertise" a bit those drones to make them be used more. I don't really see any logical explanation against implementing such solution, especially when it comes to example of Crisis or Hyperion drones. Special modes. Now we have them only on weekends except of course DeathMatch mode. People complained about previous state of it or what? It's not that I don't mind them, but why if there's more special modes divided by weekend modes and weekdays there's also no more special missions with earning 300/500 reputations points on them? That would be a really good, but small motivation to try them and play on it for longer, especially off the weekends. Not just promoting them as "fun" or "more variety" as I have stated it earlier during Spring Festival 2025. Also regarding DM special mode, pretty sad there's More Gold Boxes option turned OFF, but when Overdrives are ON there, I guess that's better since it would be another hopper festival there. Also Crusader users everywhere dominating battles with their Blasters, Lifeguards or Excelsiors and Vulcan or other turrets. Also that Excalibur Augment in general also dominating. Once I saw a guy using it making +40 kills when having 0 deaths, so... that speaks for itself. Not just because of camping tactic. Yeah. So many augments added literally every update in this game. And it seems there will be more, don't think it will ever stop. I'm not really a big fan of them being constantly added. But ofc something must happen in game to not make it boring for players... Same for me. 5k reputation points per contract is too much. I would understand like 2k or 3k reputation points, but not 5k. And especially when that Office event lasted 2 weeks. For sure it was good for buyers with thousand of Tankoins and/or Rubies and winners of TankiFund giveaway, because it had Golden Contracts which costed 290 Rubies. But for others who didn't have that much Rubies saved or bought, who played with Silver Contracts activated... It's logic those who don't choose "Rubies path" would have it harder, but still that 5k reputation points per contract is really too much. Hope in next mini-games that amount of reputation points gets reduced.

    Tanki Classic augments explained in more detail. Information for those who haven't watched #531 episode of the V-LOG and/or don't want to do it: Each skin variation for turrets (XT, LC, PR) will mimic augment behaviour. Which means they will "recreate spirit" of classic augments. Most of them are in Rare Category, but some are from Legendary Category "when balance permits". For example: Smoky XT and LC will get settings similar to classic Assault Rounds augment (for XT skin of Smoky) and Supercumulative Rounds augment (for LC skin of Smoky), which was shown in that episode of V-LOG. Striker XT will get settings recovering Missle Launcher "Uranium" augment Thunder LC will get settings of Sledgehammers Rounds augment Railgun PR will get settings of Death Herald compulsor augment Isida LC will get settings of Vampire nanobots augment Tanki returned to philosophy, which says that "Skins aren't upgraded turrets, they are alternative version of them with unique behaviour". Obtaining skins there won't be quick. To reach Railgun XT skin you need to reach Brigadier rank first, which takes more than 3 months to reach it. Emphasizing that all this to get ONE skin. Skins aren't OverPowered (OP) they make character and meaning that matches their rarity to make a satisfaction feeling like purchasing turret itself and making that progression more meaningful Now they tuning more than 40 skin variations of skin augments for other turrets. Including: a) Electromagnetic Accelerator "Scout" for Railgun b) Heavy Capacitors for Shaft c) Plasma Torch for Ricochet d) Duplet for Hammer and many more... [No specifics given] Alterations don't outperform their base turrets. If you have more questions about them, send them in comments. [Under topic regarding that episode or in YT]

    Sorry, but that 2 week duration is too short. Especially since those contracts require 5k reputation points, which is too much. I'd rather have those for 2k reputation. Grinding like more than 40 battles (+-)[depends how much RP per battle you get) is really tiring. Way better would be tasks like capture flags or capture points in CP or SGE. Like ideas written above. Not just grinding that much reputation points. I know you try to make players play more, but that will more likely to discourage them to play that much. Me myself gets really discouraged to do this event. For prizes that soon or later (might) land in containers in Legendary category. Why it can't last like 3-4 weeks? Or begin and end at the same time when events like UFO Days, May Holidays, Tanki Birthday etc. are in game? I have to say I'm impressed that Golden Contracts cost 290 Rubies and contain 40 Skills, which allow complete 8 tasks for blue category or 4 tasks for green or yellow category or 2 tasks for red category to get that Crusader's Excelsior. For sure the winners of giveaway from Summer eSports TankiFund 2025 can (not everyone will) easily complete that event and maybe those who saved many Rubies. And those Silver Contracts giving 10 skills (1 green and yellow task, 2 blue tasks and 0,(6) [10/15] red tasks). For those who haven't won in recent giveaway or didn't save that much rubies play that much is really discouraging. Yes, it's logic those who don't go with Rubies should have harder, but isn't it too hard like I said above for prize which one day could be get (or not) from Containers? But the prizes from completing departments are really ridiculous. In total there are 25 common keys, 9 rare keys and 15 epic keys + pretty bad Tesla GT skin, Meanwhile UFO Days 2025 giving a total of 15 epic keys, 30 common keys, but 3 rare keys. Although it's less rare keys, but for sure those common and epic keys can give way more supplies than from 6 rare keys, especially since they give really often those supplies. And without earning that much reputation points to get 600 more supplies. And that skin isn't well-liked by players.

    It's when the first tests will begin for those who bought Early Access and first votings. It won't be a global launch, when they open game for everyone, not just those "Early Access testers". I guess it will be something like test server, you play on it for some time and at some point it gets closed and testing Classic account is reseted. And meanwhile players can share their feedback/opinions regarding it.

    Early Access information, if you haven't watched episode #530 V-LOG and don't want to: Access to those tests are via T.O account. Account will be verified to according to what special offer ("Nostalgia" or "Old School") was purchased. For Early Acess there's gonna be 5 phases: 1. Main Testing Phase: Participating in iterations of test builds, which has different settings for mechanics and visual components. Players can create reviews, comment, discuss and share their feedback. When those tests close, Classic account will reset. 2.Preliminary Voting Phase: This will end with voting. Before it, mechanic configurations will be tested multiple times. It's goal is to form personal opinion on tested Classic aspects before the voting begins. Voting will be available until test closes. It's anonymous. There are 2 votes which will be calculated as %, "Approve" and "Disapprove". List of voting (IMPORTANT: NOT FINAL) a) Overdrives: Enabled or disabled by default b) Supply cooldowns: Activation with short intervals or "garland mode" (activation of all supplies at once) c) Gold Boxes: Periodic fund-based drops or random drops (with or without fixed drop zones) d) Skin augments: mentioned in episode #523(Skins-Tanks of XT,LC,PR; mentioned Augments in Skins dependent on voting) and #528 (equipment Skins for Garage) e) 12th turret in Tanki Classic: Striker or Gauss There will be 4 ranges of turrets, like in T.O: Melee, Short range, Medium range Long range In every range there are 3 turrets. Related to equipped modules, protecting against 3 turrets each. By now there's 11 turrets and 2 ranges finalized: Melee range: Firebird, Freeze, Isida Short range: Hammer, Twins, Ricochet Placement of the rest of turrets in range will depend on voting results: If Striker chosen, turrets will be assigned like that: Medium range: Vulcan, Smoky and Striker Long range: Thunder, Railgun, Shaft If Gauss chosen, turrets assigned like that: Medium range: Vulcan, Smoky, Thunder Long range: Gauss, Railgun, Shaft 3. Final Game Build: Building the final version after voting on Classic settings. 4. Early Access: Launched after final account reset. Road To Legend for those who bought those "Nostalgia" and/or "Old School" at least 1 week, 1 month max earlier than for others. 5. Global Launch: After Early Access Those who bought "Personalized" special offer can activate nickname reservations. Early Access T.C nicknames will copy them from T.O. When nickname changed after global launch, that feature will be available in the game. It will cost you with Crystals. Fresh start for those who hadn't bought any offers. No need to hurry, devs are focused on battle interface, adding hulls and turrets assembling interface, and many other things. It's planned to be finished by the end of July to the beginning of August. After that tests will start. Possibility to buy Early Access special offers prolonged till the End of July.
  20. I like how it got changed. No need to get all rare augments to get Legendary one. But as I've mentioned in the previous post, if you want to prevent low-ranked players from getting Legendary augments and ruin gameplay for beginners, why don't you set a specific rank, from which possibility to get those augments Unlocks? For example Captain or Major? Going back to how it was before Patch Update #802. Hmm, interesting. Yeah, it wasn't that good. What if the time to capture points and number of team point required to win depend on size of the map? Like huge like 25 seconds and 3 team points, in middle-sizes 20 seconds and 4 team points and in smaller like 15 seconds and 5 team points. Awesome!! Finally the old Madness map is brought back to the game. Really missed that old version of Madness with platform below. I really didn't like that one without it. Now good question if the map can be added to MatchMaking pool of maps and players can get this while playing it. I guess all of the modes might be playable there (maybe TJR and SJR not really or really). I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to try that solution. If players don't like it, it can be revoked. For sure I'd like to see it on special modes. Not just now for "UFO" mode, but in many, many others.

    Fully agreed. I really hate it when my bot Juggernaut goes to enemy base and get killed pretty quickly, especially after ruining that combo (Juggernaut). It would be way better if normal players would become Juggernauts more often or only them becoming it. Maybe low-ranked players won't get points that easily, but at least they'll be teached how it is with real players as Juggernauts and how real battle looks like (at least a bit).
  22. So now another series of augments will be added to game? Next old-drone-based augments series. L By that people would have to spend months or even years to collect firstly all rare augments for specific turrets/hulls to get Legendary augments instead of already get a good (or not) Legendary augment. At least good that even Opex-Rah himself wrote he didn't like how it works and only 1 rare augment will be required to get Legendary augment. I understand it might be a solution to prevent low-ranked players from getting really good Legendary augment and ruin gameplay at the beginning of the journey with game, but still, wouldn't it be better to make a specific rank which unlocks possibility to get those augments?! For example in Captian or Major rank. Instead of getting straight Heat/Cold Immunity augments we have to collect Heat/Cold Resistance augments first to get them?! That's pretty bad. Now it's going to be way harder to protect from those burning/freezing status effects for newbies (assuming 80-90% and above of high-rank players already got those immunities before). OK time for some calculations. From daily missions we used to get 2 rubies per 7 days, so 14 rubies for a week (if from all daily regular missions completed every day) + standard weekly missions giving 12 rubies. 12 + 14 = 26. Now we can 20 + 10 for those weekly missions, so it equals 30 rubies. So yeah, we can pretty much more rubies per week, 4 more, but for more than 10k reputations points?! It's debatable if it's really worth it. Very good visual effects. I like them. Now you've made Siege like a more "upgraded" CP mode. Also making it like that is terribly for really big maps. Point to capture "spawns" on the other side of the map and it got taken by enemy team very quickly and there's barely any time to get to it. Why not to make time to capture point depent on the size of map. In some huge like 25 seconds, in middle-sizes 20 seconds and in smaller like 15 seconds. Yeah, another debatable point. Good that time that counts damage as assist is increased, but not really like that in team format it got reduced. IMO points for assists should depend on damage dealt to enemy tank and if you deal 70/80-90% to enemy but not kill him, you get 12 reputation points, and the enemy who killed gets 5 or 8 reputation points. Something like that.

    Tanki Online turns 16!

    Huge W for the developers for making special gift available for 23 days unlike last year, when it was available only in June 4. It can make literally every tanker who can log in to game during the almost whole duration of the birthday celebrations to claim those gifts, not only that June 4, when some might be too busy with real life and couldn't log into game for various reasons. Me myself gonna claim those gifts in the evening and enjoy some time with free Premium Account, especially after I have passed all of my exams and have a lot of free time. That's a really big advantage of this event.

    Summer eSports TankiFund 2025

    Finally TankiFund. I've just saved up my Rubies for that fund to buy it on both of my accounts. Hope I'll be the lucky one Good thing the cheapest offer got a small decrease comparing to the last TankiFund. (1390, when last one was for 1490) Pretty cool prizes in the non-booster bonuses (additional bonuses), can't wait to try that Hammer Boxer augment and Excelsior for Hornet (if fund reach that far). Pretty disappointing there's again that Armadillo Module and Crisis drone, which I already have. Less prizes from it ? and there's nothing we can do... At least good they aren't filled with 500 units of each basic supplies in this fund like last time. That was really discouraging! It's pretty interesting to see a new "path" of prizes for Booster purchases. For sure a good thing for buyers to get much more from fund. Maybe next time there will be a completely new skin placed in there, who knows? Also regarding questions above: Check the Quotes + next time read announcements more carefully, especially such important announcements with an exclamation mark in a circle (!)
