It seems like they never get better than being semi-function as they are now. Every time they get terrible and are fixed, they only work somewhat okay again, never better. -
There's a bug where Smoky's shots will randomly fly through enemies without hitting them. It seems like Smoky has an ability to hit enemies behind destroyed tanks as long as you aim for their turrets, so maybe the bug is that this rule of needing to hit the turret is randomly turned on.

It's an old bug afaik and is annoying. I't be nice to see it be fixed finally. -
The ping issues have returned and the game is unplayable for me right now.

When Mammoth uses its overdrive destroyed tanks are supposed to fly away, but sometimes they don't, and become obstacles. It's frustrating because you expect tank hulls to fly away when you try to take your flag to the enemy's base in ASL for example, but sometimes when the hulls just lie on the ground as obstacles you fail because of that....

In one of the videos you were driving towards the wall and never seemed to expose yourself, so that looks sus. One time something strange happened that i wonder if it was a bug or a hacker. The tesla sound was playing constantly no matter where i was on the map and randomly i took damage as if a tesla was damaging me but no tesla player was around. I know it wasnt because he was above me.

Players like you and other F2P players here that have said the same thing are proof that it's possible to be competitive with buyers.

I'm at warrant officer and still use mk 1 stuff because the micro-upgrade button never changed to full upgrade. Has Tanki changed so that you only do micro-upgrades or something? -
Tanki deserves to be taken off the developers' (Opex-Rah) hands. They drove it to the ground.

I think that the game has serious problems (servers, matchmaking, OP equipment) but I still have enough fun to come back. I DEFINITELY want Tanki to keep adding stuff. I want to see more hulls with new overdrives, new turrets with game-changing abilities (like Scorpion's rockets and Tesla's lightning ball) and augments. More abilities, like the soon to come grenades. I find it hard to believe how anyone can think that even something like the overdrives were too far from the ancient (and extremely bare-bones) version of the game. I played the old (2014-era?) Tanki not long ago (I won't say how because it's forbidden) and it didn't have the server issues and had fairer matchmaking, so I thought it would be great, but I had a bad time because it was so very boring--very barebones, clunky and slow gameplay...Current Tanki, despite all its problems, is far, far more fun IMO. -

Which is more fun and less likely to make you tired of the game, the best combo you like that reliably gives you better results, or is it your favorite combo that doesn't reliably give you good results but when it does is more fun to use? -
I guess so. Someone said that (and I hope they're right) that Tanki is generous with the supplies they give, so there's no need to buy even with non-Brutus drones, except for with the most powerful drones.

Some people say that it's very possible to be competitive with the buyers as a F2P player, if you're patient and careful with how you spend your crystals. As for the awful matchmaking, while Tanki tries to encourage (frustrate you into) buying, the matchmaking apparently didn't use to be this bad, and has become this way because of a loss in players.

Walker hulls sounds cool if they could make using them feel unique. I hope they add them. I think more hulls and turrets is always fun, even if they couldn’t add anything new to gameplay. -

Good idea. Id get rid of Seige, Assault and Juggernaut if it meant we'd get fairer matches. -

Ah bummer. Do you know if it's possible to make the match-maker's waiting time adjustable by each player, so you can choose yourself how long you're willing to wait to get fairer matches? -

You're sure? For me it's the complete opposite. I'd happily wait even 1 min if it meant I could spend 7 minutes enjoying a fun match, rather then waiting 10 seconds and than having to exit and enter a bunch of matches over and over again (and probably spend more time than 1 min doing this) until I get a fair match if I'm lucky - and then the reinforcement system can quickly ruin that fair match if any players leave, which often happens as soon as one team does slightly better than the other, causing OP players to join and dominate the match, which makes me feel like I've wasted both time and supplies on the match and feel like quitting in an irritated mood. I'm sure that's why there's so many angry posts on the forum complaining about the game - it leaves people irritated and wondering why they play. I can't see how short wait times is worth it for the overall experience with the game because of these things. -

It usually takes like 10-20 seconds to get into a match. I'd happily wait longer if it meant that the matches were fairer and actually fun. -

You're sure? It's a baffling gameplay choice if so. To me it's just annoying.

It's a long or medium-ranged turret. Like Shaft, it has 2 firing modes: - Arcade shot shoots a projectile without a wire attached - Scope-mode shoots a projectile with a wire attached, and once the projectile has hit something the turret starts to reel the wire in. This can be used to prevent an enemy tank from escaping with your team's flag, or pull a tank hidden behind cover into the open (imagine hitting the gun barrel of an annoying magnum and pulling him out of his cover!), pull them off an edge, pull them close to a teammate with a close-range weapons so they can kill them - the possibilities are endless! If your tank is heavier than theirs, they will be pulled towards you. But if you place your tank behind an obstacle, they will always be pulled towards you. Also, you can also use the harpoon to pull yourself over obstacles or up a vertical wall. With the scope-mode you can carefully choose where you want the harpoon to attach. You could also attach it to something above your tank and hang in the air, to ambush tanks by dropping down like a ninja. If it should be possible to attach the wire to friendly tanks (if it wasn't abused by trolls) then you could also help pull friendly tanks over obstacles, up vertical walls etc, help a slow tank move faster by pulling them towards you, say if a friendly heavy tank has captured the flag, you could help them return to the base faster, move around a shaft in scope-mode... Maybe the wire should be damaged by enemy fire, so enemy tanks could free themselves or other tanks, or make an enemy tank climbing up a wall with the wire fall down. Regardless, there should be a limit to how long an enemy tank can be "captured", but that's a matter of balancing the turret.

Smoky seems to have a bug where occasionally a shot misses a tank when it should hit. It seems like the cause is because the vertical auto-aim went offline for a single shot and you miss because the shot went below or above the tank. It happens often, maybe every 6-7 shot, but maybe that's an exaggeration because of how annoying it is.

The new effect looks very good I think and unless Tanki plans on adding improved effects to all shooting turrets in the game, they should add this effect to the other shooting turrets.
