Is the 50% faster reload worth the 25% reduced damage though? I think it would be in close combat if you cant one-shot medium and light hulls anyway.

Do LH charge up damage or reload scope shots faster than stock? Either of them needs to be better than stock to justify using it

Absolutely insulting to the customers. They must realise the way this looks and how it affects the game, so perhaps they are indeed planning to scrap the game soon and this is a last ditch effort to get as much money as possible from the whales.

More and more players are leaving the game, which makes the match-maker more and more unfair and the game less and less enjoyable 2. devs are making the game more and more P2W, maybe as a response to losing players and failing to attract F2P/players who spend only a little money, so they focus on keeping the whales 3. back to step 1

It's hard to enjoy playing the game these days. After all the time of server issues, there's no improvements, except for when they've been catastrophically bad, but the servers only goes back to being "pretty bad" and never good. The matchmaking will only get worse as players leave.

I can't get any server connection today

Idea: a system that calculates the average stats or GS in a match and modifies the low and high outliers more towards the average, by boosting or reducing their stats. Players with high GS should still be able to use any equipment of their choice, from drones, protection modules and augments, but their hull's and turret's Mk levels change temporarily to better match that of the other players. The highest GS players in a match will still be the most powerful, just not so much that the game feels broken for the rest, including the lowest GS players.

Bots sounds like it could be fun for new gamemodes, like defending against a swarm of easily killable but dangerous in numbers tank "zombies". But its much more fun to play against real players. I'd rather they would create a system that shrinks the gap between the stats of the equipment of players, that calculate the average GS of players and pulls the highest and lowest gs players closer to the middle.

I wonder, will TO try to fix the matchmaking problem? It seems like a very serious issue. If too few players are playing, it will only get worse when players leave. Wasn't there an interview with a dev recently? Did they say anything?

I'll try that. Destrotank, who seems like a good player from what they wrote, also recommended either defender or trickster for mammoth. I love to sneak close to the enemy and snipe them with shaft and try to survive for as long as I can in a hiding spot, so your tactic sounds like fun to me. I'd like to see a discussion between you and @wild001 who, i think, says that the game gives free players a generous amount of supplies, too many to motivate paying for supplies. You two seem to have very different opinions.

The matchmaking balance seems to keep getting worse, and even if you get a somewhat balanced match, the reinforcement system often quickly ruins that. Many matches are just not fun and feels broken, as I'm unable to do anything meaningful for my team in the match. The server issues continues, and although the issues aren't unplayably broken, there's lots of annoying things going on. I'm asking myself how much I really enjoy playing Tanki these days, is it worth playing anymore. I have fun now and then, but it's becoming increasingly rare...

I like using Mammoth's OD, despite that Ares is the best heavy, but I also want to get Defender. Will Mammoth be too slow in the top ranks to kill tanks and capture flags with its OD?

Does anyone wanna add to this collection of F2P advice? Here's some advice I've found that seems good. - Upgrade very few turrets and hulls. Perhaps just 1 hull and 2 turrets: one long range, one medium or short range. But if you're happy with only 1 turret, it will be easier to save crystals. Is mammoth and its od good without trickster? I wanna get defender with a heavy hull and like mammoths od but dont know if its any good without trickster.

This happens still. The servers are awful, the matches keep crashing, tanks move in such a twitchy way they become hard to hit, sometimes you cant do damage suddenly, and overall the game is very laggy despite being so simple. I can play War Thunder just fine on my crappy laptop at the lowest graphics settings but Tanki lags a lot. Even the forum keeps crashing when Im trying to post.
