    Here is a valid question. The devs use TO to encourage gambling within the parameters of the game to make cash, TRUE or FALSE? Here is another valid question. The devs KNOW that under age kids are being enticed to gamble, TRUE or FALSE? Last question. Do the devs realise they are breaking the law/s of many countries and by extension their own law/s governing this game by introducing a gambling (for cash) aspect into the game, where every single person connected with this game, players and devs alike know there are kids that participate in the game. Before you cite the EULA I will say this. I once tried to read/navigate this unbelievably complicated and mind numbing binding agreement between the game and players, It was not an easy task (and the devs know this.) I lasted an hour/ish before losing the will to live. I understood most of what I actually read (I skipped a lot of mundane stuff) but what I read only amounted to about a 1/3 of the entire document. In reality I doubt that anyone has actually read the entire document and if they have, I very much doubt they understood 99% of the legalities of it. How are kids supposed to read and UNDERSTAND this legal document, because most adults who play this game (myself included) get lost when it goes into the complicated legal stuff. When it comes to "legality" I dare say that TO breaks more than a few rules, at the very least they bend them to breaking point. Back on topic-I thought hazel was amazing in this interview.

I merely integrate other factors into the original post/topic to further enhance my position/standpoint on the state of the game, which is abysmal, nice one hazel.
  3. Is a complete joke for the huge amount of crystals needed to upgrade it. All protection modules are a joke. Augments have taken over the game and until they get rid of them the game will continue to be a complicated joke, nice one hazel. You never fail to get it wrong every time, it's the only true constant of this mess you continue to excel at.

The original NAME may have been edited Just a quick edit to show hazel my actual questions I have posted over the last couple of months. As you can see, my repeated question/s on various dates got ignored, but he can answer a fabricated one (that I would never ask in a quadzillion years) about a complete load of tripe that no one in the entire TO universe gives a toss about.

    We all know it's a business and needs a good cash flow to maintain it, no problem with that. The problem with the game is that nothing of worth regarding actual battles ever gets sorted, from the no-damage bug to the wall of names and notifications blocking your view of most of the battle. These two in particular need to be sorted and would not affect the game economy in the process. These problems amongst many other relevant questions that need answers/fixing were never brought up in the interview. This was a wasted opportunity to press hazel for answers to ongoing problems, problems that seemed to have been sidestepped for irrelevant information for the most part.

    This has never been an idea of mine just an opinion, I hate mobile players. As for "MY" ideas, at least one of them would improve MM beyond recognition and the others would improve the game for the low ranks in particular by a large factor. I do agree with you from time to time because you know what you're saying but this just shows you have no idea what you're talking about lol. You being serious? They never answer the questions players want answering, they cherry pick the questions they want to answer and the tough questions they just shrug off with some bull crap. Nope it was not. Todays P2W is off the scale and way, way more expensive. Everything has shot up in price by at least 200%, so no it's not funny at all. The game is way more reliant on the P2W structure than it has ever been. It's also how they change the mechanics/setup of the game to try and force players to spend cash, like making module upgrades so pricey that you need countless millions to upgrade even half of them. (referring to the lower ranks) I agree that nerfing is warranted for these OP gimmicks once they are in containers for all to get, (even though it's a smack in the face for F2P) It's the frequency of these OP gimmicks that bothers me. We have way to many gimmicks in the game and the augments are the main problem, I hate them, along with the floating hacks which are played mostly by MOBILE players. So you want to meet 6 triplet hammers on enemy team every match? Didn't we have a similar thing already where a bunch of people had UNNERFED EXOTIC TOYS for free? From what i remember everyone were holding their breath until the patch that nerfs them. Dude it's so obvious... I think you have misinterpreted my response to hazel. He was implying that augments were not there as cash grabs, I disagree with that assessment of his, they totally are cash grabs. This pains me severely but I agree with your take on this. The game as a whole has went from easy to understand and enjoyable to very complicated with most battles being a grind. The game has many flaws which need addressing. Sadly those that can do something about these flaws (and the list seems endless) refuse to do so.

    They never give adequate answers that affect players in a negative way. Of course I can answer that with ease, CASH. The game is far to complicated, far to pricey and with tonnes of lag, with remastered maps causing more lag than we already have. I don't mind them making cash from players, that is what all on-line games do. What bothers me is the fact that they "NEVER" implement any ideas from players into the game that actually help players out. A prime example is the crystal/XP ratio, which is forcing players to rank way to quickly and be nowhere near enough ready (garage) to have any chance at competing on a reasonable level. Losing half of the mobile players would be great if you ask me, but it looks like they are going to rely heavily on the kids no lifing the game. I heard hazel say that TO used to get over 100.000 players on-line. Begs the question why they only have a fraction of that now. I wonder were it all went wrong? Saying the game was MORE P2W "back in the day" is just ludicrously wrong. Todays TO is very much dominated by P2W and very much over priced for what you actually get for your cash. I started this game back in 2013 and have seen the over priced changes they have brought in over the years. On a side note. I'm up to 34 mins in the video (it's very hard work) Taspens a bit of advice. If your going to do an interview then interact more with the person your interviewing, don't just sit there nodding your head and grunting now and again, it does you no favours. If you ever do another one, then get your script ready well in advance and pipe in now and again with searching questions that most players would like answered. I didn't even know this interview had happened which is a shame as I would have liked to have joined the call alongside you, which I just no would have made hazels day. Having this come up with some overbearing noise was not good. So augments get nerfed when added to normal containers. Is this because they have served their purpose as cash making aspects of the game. This is the retort you (taspens) should have said to hazel. I need a lie down, this is so painful to watch. Unbelievable. Smoking your own team will only lead to in fighting between team mates. Camping is an art if done properly and good campers help the team enormously. So augments are not P2W, so why nerf them when the rest of the player base can get them from containers then! If an augment is "MEH" according to hazel then they will over buff it on release, but it's not to make money. Of course it isn't hazel. And you wonder why those of us with more than 1 brain cell never believe a word you say. 50 mins in, this is such a grind. Lol, 55 mins in and someone asking if they will add voice chat to the game. Can you imagine how many players would be banned in the first 24 hrs. I would be the first one banned forever. Voice chat would be great but would cause sooooooo much bad blood it would not last beyond the 24 hr mark. This is why we have discord, to chat amongst friends in battle without any restrictions from the game itself, which is just fine by me. I get to say what I want in any tone I want without some bedroom warrior giving me grief over my colourful language. 55.20 secs. Hazel swearing like a dockyard worker and not a ban in sight ? go hazel go. More of the same, get stuck in there, say it how it is. Nice one hazel, for the first time in this interview I actually warmed to you. 1hr43 mins. Don't think you have actually, at least not the ones that relate to ACTUAL GAME PLAY. New skins, shot effects, etc are not really answering the big questions players want answered. Cherry picking questions that require no hard answers is a cop out. 2 Hrs 4 mins. The old Madness map was just THE best map they ever created and should be brought back. The top half was great for fighting the enemy and the bottom was for those that enjoyed capping flags, great map and needs to come back asap. No need to be harsh, just push forward the questions PLAYERS want answered that affect game play in a negative way. This is something you (taspens) did not do and as a result the interview as such did little to appease/reassure the player base. Bottom line The interview yielded little information that I would regard as relative to actual game play and as such became boring. Key questions did not get answered and also some key questions did not even get put forward, not that they would have been answered. The interview was a good idea but achieved nothing regarding players concerns about the game. Overall bottom line Could have been so much better. 5/10 for the effort.

  11. to adopt my idea which would solve it in time. Starting from WO1 the XP needed to rank should increase by a factor of 3 all the way to marshal. You should also earn x2 more cry than XP in a standard non event/no premium needed battle. These simple changes would not only solve the G/S problem, but lower ranks facing MUCH HIGHER ranks. It would take (I'm guessing) maybe a few months to sort itself out, but the end result would be beneficial to the lower ranks (garage upgrading) and fix the failed MM system in the process. Simple-non complicated-ideas like these are what the developers should be working on, not more updates that just complicate the game more and invariably cause even more lag than it has now. Just thought I'd highlight this section again. I would say I fall into this category. My strategy is only play the objective if it benefits ME. I'm not bothered in the slightest if I win, lose or draw. I could care less about any event and how many nerfed containers they give you. I would say in the last 3/4 years my game time has steadily decreased, I'm not even bothered about daily missions anymore, I either complete them or I don't. I have a list of haters in this game a mile long and It's growing bigger every day, keeps me motivated. Wrong. And no I will not explain to you why you are wrong.

  14. Having a view on anything to do with this game, negative or otherwise is a waste of time. It will remain and continue to be with each update, complicated, cash driven to the Nth degree and full of bugs. glitches and server lag and those issues alone will never get sorted.

    It's not a bad attitude as such. He's being very flippant, which is very disrespectful to those players who know the difference by what he posts and how he words it in a sentence. What it is is the devs sticking to their own guide lines on how the game should progress, which means most of the updates are aimed at making "CASH" simple as that. Tanki-Online has went down hill exponentially because of this particular attitude towards making cash, "DOMINATING" how the game evolves which is always going to be detrimental towards the majority of the player base. Augments are despised as are floating hulls because of their mechanics giving them an unfair advantage in battle. My solution to the G/S problem (weak players) and the ranking system is a slam dunk of an idea and would lesson the negative impact of the ever increasing low G/S players, who are there primarily to make the numbers up as they very rarely have a positive impact on the game for the team they are on. Bottom line is voicing your opinion via posts in the forum will never achieve much of anything of value, not as far as the majority of players are concerned. The game needs many changes, which ones if any will ever get implemented is down to a coin toss and the ability of any change to make the game lots of cash. As I have said many times over these last few years, the game will only get progressively worse with each update that it gets. Can't believe you actually said that. Not having increased XP means nothing as the XP is still way higher than any crystals you earn. Here is an example of a typical battle (no premium EVER) I came joint top in this battle with 26/0 and as you can see all my efforts yielded was a disproportionate amount of XP compared to crystals, which were shambolic for the amount of damage I done to the enemy. This is the ACUTE problem with the current ranking system and does no favours to most of the player base with low ranks, none at all. All it does is propel them to Legend rank far to quickly, which leaves them with a severely weak garage and UNABLE to compete against those Legends that have been established at that rank for a long time. MM is negatively impacted by this major flaw in the ranking/reward process. If this ratio were reversed then MM would over time even out and the ranks would be much closer together along with the G/S. As myself and a few friends of mine would say.....NAIL ON THE HEAD. Always looks good on paper, but in reality players play when and if they feel like it, regardless of the event are time of year. I for one did not ignore your comments and processed them very carefully, I also pay attention. How the game goes forward/evolves is something that needs careful consideration and some of the ideas from players needs to be in the mix for consideration at the very least. Good, I don't want it back. Augments were a good concept but as always, (MM) being a PRIME example, they are breaking the game to levels that are just not enjoyable. In the case of MM, it just does not work and in the case of augments, getting blown away by one shot even when maxed out is just ridiculous. ASAP please. I have gave very specific feedback over many years and not once did any of it get considered. Most of my feedback is to do with the end result, meaning how players perform in battles, which is what everything players do (events, containers, shop, etc,etc.) is ultimately geared towards to.

    You are right to call this out but you are doing so for the wrong assumptions. Unless you are at Legend rank, earning more XP/CRY is a major downside to strengthening your garage before you rank. A lot of players below Legend rank have very weak G/S because of this intended major flaw regarding XP/CRY ratios. I think the devs no this is a major part of the ever increasing amount of low G/S players in battles but will not address it. The amount of Legends I have seen with a G/S below 5000 is huge, all because of ranking to quickly and making them for the most part ineffective in battles, even against ranks way lower than themselves.

    I seriously do not know how I should actually take this. At the very least I eventually got a reply, so that's something of a start. In a nutshell. The game has went decidedly down hill because of a number of factors that you and others implemented (or not in many cases) over the past few years. I will give you my top 10 in no particular order that has imo ruined the game and then I will leave it at that. I will not elaborate to much on any particular point as I have done this at great length in past posts. 1-Augments. 2-Floating hulls (despised) 3-Ranking far to quickly- You address this problem and you greatly enhance the MM system actually working as intended. 4-Shop prices-way to high. 5-Responding and acting on genuine, reliable, sensible player feedback that enhances the game for the majority of players, buyers and F2P alike that does not impact your game economy in a detrimental way. I refer you to number 3 as an example. 6-The game has become far to complex with every passing year. 7-Turrets. Having the ability to mimic/copy each other takes away the uniqueness of every turret. Augments are to blame and should be scrapped. 8-Ranking. When ranking it should mean something, especially when reaching Legend rank. The current 1000 cry for ranking is shameful. 9-Rewards. Currently you get more XP than crystals at the end of a battle. Reverse this and give players more opportunity to acquire more crystals than XP after every battle. 10-Bring back Esplanade and the "old" madness map and get rid of Dusseldorf and Stadium.

    And this response sums up your attitude towards players with genuine feedback about the negative aspects of this game, aspects you never rectify for reasons unknown. And clog the already weak servers up even more. Back in the day this was true, now it's a fallacy used to try and promote the game. When I first came online there was at least 20+ on our own private channel playing the game and using voice. This is now down to just 4/5 because the game went sideways and the others just quit and have never came back. Discussing the time frame of events instead of discussing the huge amount of issues this game has is just wrong and why nothing ever gets sorted for the better.

    Your getting muddled up a bit. The screens you provided show the correct messages. They also show to a lesser degree that notifications and players names are not needed as they take up far to much of the battle screen.

    @Opex-Rah Here is an opinion. I have put my opinion here as it seems you actually reply here, so a reply would be of great benefit to all, especially if it is a positive one regarding the game and it's negative issues. Why do you keep bringing out more updates instead of "FIXING" the ongoing major problems that are affecting the game. Forget MM because you will never be able to rectify that unless you scrap it and start all over again. There are many, many fixes that need doing but these 3 are in my opinion needed now. 1 Server lag is off the scale when you do any event. 2 When will you fix the constant no-damage bug affecting magnum and most probably most turrets in every battle, for me magnum seems the worst by far. 3 Why have the notifications and players names not been removed completely from the battle screen, not put elsewhere on the screen but "removed". You @Opex-Rah seem to be in charge of TO as we perceive it, so surely you can comment and at the very least fix number 3 which should be the easiest to do in the shortest time frame, as it is very much needed because players can't see anything because of this text wall blocking the view of battle. As for the length of the event, if your going to make it long then make the missions challenging and make sure they come as close as possible for most players to be challenging enough to merit the lengthy time frame to complete them. Example. Currently the challenge as it stands is always completed with well over a week to spare, meaning no more incentive to do anything not even daily missions, which lets be honest only yield nerfed containers. Your game has many flaws @Opex-Rah it's time to fix the major ones and give the players a better game than we currently have now. Just a quick edit. As another prime example to the time frame of these challenges/event missions. I completed all of these in about 4 hrs (with down time in-between) and taken into account the lag and no damage that affected me badly. The rest of the daily missions will take about 2 hrs and will also complete the weeklies. I must note that I did all 3 missions at once in the autumn festival one as I never intended to do any of them, so they built up. Big shout out for the "EDIT" feature. One very last and very important point that I no you can fix asap. This screen above is of a low account, which after I have completed the weekly missions will be unused for a substantial amount of time, if ever used again. The reason is I will rank way to fast to be able to upgrade my garage due to lack of crystals. An easy fix would be to increase the XP needed to rank and give more cry than xp at the end of battles.
