True that, but a team is only as strong as its weakest link! While everyone in your team goes for the gold, it becomes useless and sabotages gameplay. Like Cablaz said, by clogging up 1 place and block routes plus by not playing as a team. A team can simply not go for (1!) gold as a team. That's why I had this other brilliant idea, in case the the way Gold Boxes are dropped will not be changed. Why not devide the Gold Box over the whole team. If the red team gets it, distribute crystals evenly over the players in that team. Above all, you should have a shared interest as a team! You can look at it in two ways... 1. One can get punished for being selfish during teamplay, and has to share his winnings for that (referring to those only entering games for the gold). 2. You can make agreements within a battle, who goes for gold, who protects or goes for the flag and such. Mutual interest & team effort you know, we all go for winning and crystals (referring to those who actually play the game with only one target... winning battles as a team). Note that I'm only talking about CTF and Team DM here. I'm not talking about DM, that can stay the same for all I care. There is no team involved there, goal there is to kill each other individualy. Doesn't matter if you do that scattered over the battlefield, or clotted up in one spot :)

Easy isn't it, calling someone a noob when you don't agree with them. That's just plain silly! Respect and discuss, don't disregard... I think that by entering games only for the gold you are missing the essence of the game! I also find it hard to believe that you say the entire game is perfect, since it has been evolving from the start. So when did you decide?! Right after the introduction of Shaft? I read in your comments you bought Shaft, so it must have been imperfect up to then! Otherwise you were better off not to buy it to make a statement in my opinion. Or is it that you only like change when it suits you? Let me tell you this, this game thrives by change! Fact is that not all changes, but for sure some, have been introduced by players. Why else do you think people from Tanki ask for feedback and suggestions? Because all together we can make this a better game! Precisely. Personaly my expectations of the game are mostly CTF, teamplay and of course winning, just the 'core' game! I see the gold box only as a bonus. Currently the gold box has become a game within a game, one interfering with the other. In my opinion that's is not correct, which is why I suggest a change. It's not that I don't allow anybody to get the gold box, just that it doesn't mess up the game due to gold diggers. Funny that you use the word stealing... taking something that is not yours! Anyway, the chances that someone gets the gold box at a random place will still be 100%, only the chance will be greater that it goes to someone that deserves it. You are completley right, but I do think most people know what I mean by random. The gold box should not fall at the same spot every time! That's what I ment... Don't you all hate it? You're having fun in a battle, then all of a sudden drugged up Mammoth's with Freezes enter the stage (or other high ranked M3 killing machines). Only for the Gold box, after that they leave the battle... every time again! What I hate about the way gold boxes are dropped at the moment are... that gold boxes (mostly) go to those who didn't help to increase the battle fund. And, that the game is messed up instantly, due to tanks clotting up in one small space (also the people who are playing the game since the beginning). My idea is to change the system, by dropping gold boxes at random places in the field, like supplies do. Or, by adding up scores of each game. For example, if you play Silence and the fist game has like 300 battle fund, then the gold box drops in the second game at +/- 400. Get my drift? Then nobody knows when gold boxes are gonna drop! Or you can combine the two, by adding up scores and drop at random places. Just wondering what you all think!

Nice! Perhaps you can also give some pros and cons about thunder in combination with the differtent tanks (hornet, viking and such)... Just a thought...

I agree with you on the fact that Tanki would be hacked sooner or later. And yes, who started spreading might not be the cause of all this hacking, but the spreading itself is!! And that is what loads of people are doing at the moment. Just check out the Forum, nearly all recent topics are about hacking, reporting hackers, Silence missing and such. Just imagine you are new to the game, and you are checking out the forum before play... what does that make you think? Or if you are a regular player, that has never seen a hacker in the game... The point I'm trying to make is, that whenever things are huge in the news copycats will soon follow. If you ask me, thats what is happening as we speak. We shouldn't make a new topic about every other hacking related issue... 1 Topic is more then enough, and you shouldn't need to be an admin to see that. My 2 suggestions for the admins are: 1. Delete all the hacking related topics and just have one (think of the possible copycats and image of Tanki) 2. In the one topic left about hacking, explain how to report hackers. Perhaps an upload for pictures with proof would be nice!! An upload that only admins can see, it won't polute the forum and doesn't look as much as a hype as it does now. Save Tanki before more damage can be done, if its not to late. Anyway, I have some print sceens too, but have no idea what to do with them....

Richochet, as you already know how to use twins well. 6. The base weapons: twins, firebird, smoky. Thanks a lot too for your answers! Haven't thougth about the Ricochet, seems indeed a perfect choice. I can use the same style of play with a more powerful weapon, and also no reload!! Rico doesn't have reload right? But then again... does Rico go well with the Hornet or do I need Viking? What i'm realy trying to say is.... does the extra HP of the Viking make up for the extra time I need to get away after stealing a flag? Is speed key, or is it the HP, or a combination of both (if it's a combination, seems like it to me it doesn't realy matter which tank I choose). Therefor I would like to know what exactly do you mean by Hornet is better if you are good at using it?

Hi everyone! I recently became a WO2. Since the beginning I have played with and updated the same weapon/ tank. I started with Hunter (now M2) and Twins (now M3). When it became possible I changed my tank into a Hornet (now M1, and till recent planning for it to be M2). I realy like my Twins, mainly because I am an agressive/ sneaky player and I like to go for flags. And I like the Hornet because of its speed, only bad thing is the HP, but when killed you are back in action quickly. I hate camping, don't care about rating or ratio (why should I?), but I do like winning games and crystals. I'm always in the middle of a battle, mostly starting from mid range and ending in short range. The battles I like most are (any) Fort Knox, Silence, 2042, Iran, Industrial Zone. My Garage was pretty emtpy till now, cause I'm realy digging the stuff I'm fighting with. But because of Tanki 2.0 I said to myself, lets check out some other weapons, and I did (since I get it all back in crystals in 2.0). From my savings for the Hornet M2 I bought The Isida (M1), because I read some good stuff about it in combination with the Hornet. I also bought Thunder (M0). So my Questions are: 1. Are Twins still good till the highest ranks? If not (and I have seen people saying that), why not? Seems to me it's the weapon with the highest damage per minute. 2. Is the Isida good for my style of play? I have tried it only at M1, by far not better then Twins at M3. Is Isida realy all that at M3? Can't seem to heal myself enough while killing. And is it good up to the highest ranks? 3. I thought Thunder at M0 sucked ass, I am not patient enough to wait for reload, thats probably why I like my Twins. Why is everyone that fond of Thunder at M3? 4. Do you suggest I stick with Hornet, or should I invest in Viking. 5. Perhaps another Weapon for me? Perhaps Freeze.... the most annoying gun in the battle field (for me) 6. What guns are not competible at the highest ranks? Thanks in Advance!
