Permanently?

You are misleading voters with your topic title...
-
That's because with this experiment the signs became more visible, signs that were always there but have been blurred by free crystals. What signs you may ask. Well, the sign that says, get out! You have picked a battle above your league...

I did too much :)

This is a chicken and egg situation, because would they parhaps have won if they didn't go for free crystals? Since the day I started playing I've never taken a detour to pick up some crystals and it has been greatly rewarding. It was in fact so rewarding that my first ever payment to Tanki was after I reached the rank of Generalissimo! Picking up crystals doesn't involve skill, fighting hard and winning battles does. I personally think the one's that are complaining at the moment are those who have picked easy crystals over team effort. Their mentality needs a change and they need to work on skill, by simply picking up easy crystals they haven't gained enough to compete with those who didn't and fought hard all the time... I know all my playing time was about enhancing skill, and I can safely say that doesn't apply to everyone!

C'mon people, lets face it... you win some, you lose some! If your win/loss ratio is about 50/50, then your income should remain about the same. If it's lower with that ratio, then you were probably a crystal harvester. And if you are one of those mults, then you are the reason behind this experiment. Blame yourself, not Tanki!

Not entirely true my friend, although I get your point. Here I have an interesting read for you, not completely on topic but it does relate to change in general... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Coke Think about it!!!

Brilliant experiment! This is Tanki in it's purest essence. Thank you very much... My personal preference would be to add the gold box to the battle fund as well, but I can most certainly live with it now. There will be no crystals yes, but only if you have captured no flags at all. You have probably chosen a battle out of your league when that happens. Your only option now is to leave and chose your battles more carefully. Basically you're being forced out, while previously (mostly lower ranked) players chose to stay and collect crystals.

It's a great thing to see our community unite like this in bad times. Unfortunately, our community manager picked the worst possible moment to go on a holiday. I guess our moral support has to wait until he returns.

Ridiculous update!!! The number of crystal farmers has skyrocketed due to this update. Many battles have become nearly unplayable. Silly me, I thought the number of mults/ saboteurs couldn't get any higher as after the introduction of Smart Cooldowns. Well, Tanki proved me wrong! And the worst part of it all is that there is no kick system anymore and the /vote option is broken. Please get your priorities straight Tanki!!!!! As most of my games are CTF, I say the gold box update is possibly even worse then the system back when I started. It completely interferes with the main propose of the game (CTF that is), for up to 90(!) seconds now. Excuse me, but is Tanki deliberately stimulating people to do NOTHING for up to 90 seconds... Crystal Farmers, Mults, Saboteurs, Tanki should ban them but all they do is stimulate and promote that behaviour......

The table is correct!

I had a feeling it was something like that, it's always the winning team shouting it :)
-
But what if the power is increased, and Thunder outranges you and blows you to pieces? Will you be complaining about Twins range then? By the looks of your post I can only assume you picked the wrong turrent/hull/map/strategy etc etc etc.
-
'Ypa', anyone?
-
I agree, that was a nerf alright. It's really a shame they changed that...
-
Personally, I'm more of the 'wait, huh, what the..., ahh burn, where the hell did that come from technique'.
-
If you don't care of being killed, then you are fighting with the wrong attitude which to me equals to skill-less...
-
Of course you may! But in order to do so correctly, knowing his gaming style would be rather more important, then knowing which turrents he owns. That is, if you want to give him proper advice.

How I reduce my amout of loss, is by always be aware of my surroundings. I tend to use pg up/ pg down a lot, that minimizes surprises. MU-ing stuff is always advisable, however another combo might suit you better. Just MU what you like best! Now how can you say that!? Both Hunter and Viking serve an entirely different purpose on the battle field...

I use mostly Clay when using Thunder and nearly always Hunter. Hunter is fast enough to back up from Hornets and Wasps, fast enough to run for cover if you need to, and has enough health and is stable enough to engage in face to face combat. But most importantly it 'rocks' very nicely, making you able to hit almost anything. This 'rocking' abillity makes you able to hit enemies at any given elevation, but more importantly let's you use splash damage to te fullest. With some practice you can hit the ground at any desired distance, making you able to hit targets just around the corner at a pretty great distance. Once you get the hang of it, you can also shoot around corners hitting the ground without really exposing yourself, taking out tankers at a distance most would think is impossible. I find myself using splash damage so much, I even use it when the enemy is in plain sight. Call it practice, so when you really need it you know how to take out Isida's backing up enemy attackers as well. You simply hit the ground next to both tanks and inflict damage to both at the same time, rather than wasting presious time to relocate to get a clear shot at the Isida.

DP on my thunder and I forget all about protections, every tank goes down :)

Sorry, no info! But I can count to 5 and I miss shots too sometimes ;). The cicle is very consistent, I can tell you that... 7+ shots should happen regularly with your theory, but it doen't!
-
I believe this information is incorrect! Missed shots are not used to calculate a critical hit chance... Critical hits are always consistent, regardless of any missed shots.
