Tough choices freeze is definitely the most powerful imop but I would say thunder are its drawback has potential to damage itself ricochet users can cut the corner keeping users at bay with no drawbacks and freeze well it's just annoyingly strong.

@ Justen well if the devs were nice enough to use my idea I would leave it to them but to humor us forum users, hold down the space bar and a pointer on screen would move up and then back after meeting max range release and it would fire that would be simpliest as no need for camera changes or a top down view unleass the range was futhur but i don't think it be needed snipers wouldneed an edge to kill them for the front runners in team modes.

The only new gun I would like to see would be a main turret not a secondary weapon. It would be the equivalent of a motar "hope i spelled it right" that could pound the ground with arching shots and serve as artillary at mid range to shoot behind walls over buildings ect. But there would need to be a big enough rechage time to allow movement for the enemy if you miss, and not be to strong attack so it wont be miss used it would be for support.

There is really no point to having seconday guns our tanks. As most tanks only use their min cannon anyway. If that can't get the job done then why have it as a weapon in the first place, so maybe you need a new strategy instead of more weapons on you're tank. As for new weapons we can look foward to getting the shaft in 2.0.

@ eaglestar I mean no disrespect to those players personally only the strategy I too play with rail gun on larger maps, but as clans are for 2.0 and teamwork is not all depending on you're teammates and players play for kills to rank up mostly it's every tank for itself when it comes to kills even on ctf.

The idea is remiscent of zombie assault game. The lag might be too much depending how many tanks on screen "zombified" and how many humane players. As far as crystals for each kill it would be too cheap a way to earn per kill perhaps a pot like ctf but as all tank players respawn when dead you would need to lose points for dying and if higher ranks where on level at same time the power of the "zombie" tank would level up to fast for low levels to kill own their own. plus tanki dosent have any bot tanks I think. the code for them would take a while but as a contest to see how many kills you can get working as a team taking on "zombie" bots per kill death ratio would be fun but I dont expect this anytime soon if all.

@ chriswu Yes I am a staff sergeant I play againt higher ranks in team battles to steal kill more points. True this may not be a offensive maneuver but riding close to you're flag gunner and taking the hits for them while at least halving the health of the closest enemies is defensive tactic that works.

Here is a maneuver I use on ctf games espcially large maps. When my teamate goes for the flag and gets it. I drive behind them with railgun and use double damage with my rail to ohko the respawns from attacking the flag carrier by postioning myself in between them and my teamate taking the damage instead while they get away. I didnt invent it is just the same as isdia users except i dont have it lol.

This is not always possible as the twins range is 40 m. If you are beginning to shoot from the max range and you are driving toward the enemy sometimes just before you're bullets hit a teamatee may pass right through on a flank shot happens a lot with rail gun campers that just ping pong attack. If I know they are going to die from one shot or they short equivalent of medium range weapon i will not stop firing as I want every shot to count. If snipers want to camp like this stay out of the foward firing area I say.

This happens to me every time that I am on the flag during a 5 min lag. I just try to type somethin in the battle chat and if it doesn't show up i know its lagging. If you wait on the flag during this while the other tanks are doing 360 spins you may not pick up th flag when the lag recalibrates as you're teams mates are probably exactly in the same spot you are if they dont already got it.

I will say that Tanki is more than likely ignoring the lag issues due to 2.0 comming out and perhaps hopeing the problem will go away by then with 2.0 being more stable, or their attention is soley on the preperation of 2.0's launch. If the problem has not yet recieved enough complaint that their traffic drops and they loseplayers/$ especially the higher ranked buyers then maybe the will stop treating this like an isolated problem and fix it.

I agree they may need a slight drop in healing score however these players do help out the snipers and anyone who stays back at base to defend it ex. silence however they are not offensive and raising the points for being a flag scorer to 3x will only be abused by speedy tanks drugging with nitro, and leave out the players with hard fought kills as they some now do with the healing not all Isidia users are bad.

I have noticed a increase in game lags during what I assume to be peak hours for the server locations. I have never been kicked off a server due to lag just about half the players leave and after 2 1/2 mins to 5 the battle catches back up with players pushing people off and stealing flags dring the lag. I play on broadband and a T-1 LAN line in U.S so speed in not the issue it has also happend during non peak hours however not as long a lag time or on as many games.

I disagree twins require large amouunts of skill on open levels where you cannot hit the rail/thunder/smokey users you must survive to get close to them and let the killer bees out the twins barrels on them. As far the knowingly constant friendly fire users that is no skill. The twins are a cheap tier 1 weapon that can annoy tier 2 users :mrgreen:

I have recently upgraded to railgun but will be switching back to twins after I can get the m2 upgrade. I get trigger happy in some ctf games when the team I am on's base is rushed I shoot at everything I think is a tank that pops out from a wall or a ramp until I get close enough to see if it's my teammate. Though i've seen some players shoot their teammates to get thier attention.
