Reduce power of garage supplies

I think the predictable drops made the problem worse. When the drops were random each team had a more fair shot at getting supplies. Now anyone familiar with a map knows exactly which path to take in order to get drugged up without necessarily having to use 2-3-4.

 

Also the Hammer and Thunderkings have the major advantage of splash damage - most of the losers using these don't even turn their turrets! I really hate that the most - it requires no skill at all - just move your tank and shoot.

Remember when they gave all players a PRO pass for free (like 2,3,4 months ago - I cant exactly remember when it was), and many of the battles were without drugs. And there were many players that played those "Drug free" mods. Back then tanki was real fun.

Now you waste more time getting in and leaving, in order to find a decent and relatively fair battle. I literally lost 2 days of my life trying to find a good and fair battle. You come, see that opposing team has 2 druggers, and 3 min later everyone leaves, you get so angry and annoyed, that you leave the battle too. Repeat this like 30 times a day.
Every day, drugs are getting more and more problematic. 
Let's say you are a drugger in a 3v3 Hill battle and You can heal once in 1 minute, and you own the other half (enemy's half). 1 drugger can easily kill 2 players, so the other 2 teammates have 4-6 air drops available. Is that what u call fair ?
Everyone is okay with drugging here and there. From my point of view the term "here and there" means "once in 5 minutes" . But you RARELY see people using 1 drug once in 5 minutes, don't ya?  

Drugs also cause side effect problems. Players should find a suiting battle easily and fast. The drugs cause so much unbalanced games that it is practically impossible to find a good battle. Tanki is a stress reliever, not a stress causer. Let's keep it that way.

I actually found 3-4 rounds of Serpukhov last night where both teams of 10 were NOT drugging. After 3 rounds of 15 minutes the score was tied each time and in the 4th round someone capped a flag with a mere 2 seconds left. It was totally fun and because of the ties everyone got crystals out of the battle fund. Nobody complained and everyone was respectable towards each other.

 

It's sad to think that situations like this are very rare.

Wow. The druggers are out heavy now. Every single round I have played tonight was dominated by 3-4 Hammer/Thunderkings. Ridiculous. Off to play something more fun than this crap.

I don't know creeperskelly, but I can't! Maybe PC, maybe Tanki servers ... anyway I can't handle big maps!

Actually, there was a 90% discount on Pro Passes a few months back (making the passes 500 crystals: sweet deal  :D).  Actually, one of my favorite Tanki memories came out of a Pro Battle with ONLY air drops (even then, the battle was not horribly one-sided) I joined after buying the discounted Pro Passes.  Long story short, after about 30 minutes of playing with my Smoky/Firebird-Viking combo (both M0's at the time I believe), I racked a career-high reward of 2800+ crystals  :D  :D  :D; both teams did not hold back, but in the end, my team triumphed!  

Tangent over, it would be awesome if the dev's reduced the normal Pro Pass cost to a more reasonable price (an idea said multiple times throughout this thread).  After all, easier access to customized Pro Battles would help tired players find some room for enjoyment.  Sadly, as evident in this tread's various testimonies, the dev's (who have the final say in Tanki) seemingly choose to not do anything about uncontrolled drugging and imbalances.  As such, one can only hope that the dev's will confront and solve this game's abuses...

I have been reading something through Alternativa website (owner of Tanki Online). Have a look!

 

Actually, what they say is apparently just how we describe what should the game and its "customer service" be! Funny, uh?


 

I also read from "Company history" that in 2014 they had "over 130 thousand people simultaneously online", which is what I was reading on the graph. That means the graph are probably correct, and I remind you all that today they just reach over 60 thousand people simultaneously online! Shouldn't devs understand that there is something wrong?

I can't play them either. And despite trying to help them solve the issue the developers NEVER respond.

 

Even with large maps the effect of the triple 2-3-4 with the repair kit thrown in makes it nearly impossible to kill one. Size of map won't help a bit. It just gives them more space to avoid the more powerful direct hits from rail and shaft.

 

The "brown screen" issue is a major annoyance - when the screen turns  brown upon respawn. Total silence from the developers on it.

They said the same here (about the low season) ... but this "low season" is half a year long!! :)
 
The users/player thing is quite strange to me too. Even if we consider time shifts, different peak hours for any country/area, second/third/fourth accounts (because for "players" they mean accounts I guess) and so on.
Just 1% of peak (which is even less in avg.) is strange! Well, if you consider an average of 10 accounts per player, it comes to be abt. 10% and that sounds more realistic. But is this a reasonable figure?

The "Another sad day in Tanki" series continues (not for long, at this stage!)

 

It is quite many days now that I try enter the game, I find all unbalanced battles dominated by insane druggers, I get annoyed and I leave. Never more than 15 mins probably. I am not even interested anymore in entering the game, as I know what I will find in it!

 

And, I should correct the "rules" I used to follow when searching for a battle. One said to avoid battles more than 15mins long ... now drugger devastation is fully entered those battles too!!!

I have little time for Tanki due to politics in my country. But what little I have I log in and find the same stupid battles with same mindless druggers and the same outcome. Boring, unfair, makes no sense to play that way.

So I log off.

 

It's time we started express out complains to social media.

Tanki, free to pay game.

Tanki, freemium game.

Tanki, only money matter.

Buy your victory in Tanki online.

Tanki online turns into Druggie online.

...You just need focus fire xD

Great skill tip Mafiax!  

That's what we needed all along; all my team has to do is focus our fire on that annoying drugger or two and we'll be scot-free...except there are several problems with that.  Before I continue, however, I will just say that you, Mafiax, probably will not respond to this topic ever again, as I suspect that you already fulfilled your mission, whatever it was.  Unless you wish to be part of this discussion and truly contribute something to it, I won't say what you did wrong since you probably won't care anyhow...btw nice bait mate, if it was really bait.

 

Back on topic, how should my team respond to a direct assault by four or more healthy (I mean like perhaps at least 75% health) druggers?  Assign two players against each drugger?  Simply drug back?...

 

Anyway you look at it, it's looking more like an evitable loss for my team.  Sure, maybe my teammates are PROS, drugger or not, so they know what to do against the assault...but bottom-line, you are not ALWAYS guaranteed such a fine team.  Thus, it is possible that my team may be compose more or less by mults or other players that easily buckle against drugger assaults.  And since I can't control my teammates, I and several competent teammates may as well be slaughtered by the druggers while our nonactive teammates stand by and do nothing...

Also, even if my team decides to drug back, the opposing druggers have a greater chance of winning since some of them probably have already achieved a Super Saiyan Mode (aka drugged with a combination of the four essential drugs, mostly med kit, 2x Armor, and 2x Power) while me and my teammates must resort to no more than two drugs at a time...the ensuing fight may be well-fought, but our better prepared opponents will triumph...It will be worse if all those opponents were infamous Viking-Hammers or Viking-Thunders...

 

Long story short, since there's always a chance of getting not-Avengers (aka teammates who don't do jack or inadequately support the team), focus-fire is NOT the surefire strategy against opposing druggers (perhaps you, Matriax, would like to suggest drugging back along with focus-fire?).  TBC; I have a revelation to share, but am too tired right now...

The problem is that when coupled with the appropriate paint (as I demonstrated in my last post) these Hammer/Thunderkings are practically impossible to destroy. It would take the equivalent tank to wipe one out and it seems like it never happens that both teams have these same tanks on each team and each ones are drugging.

 

It's really bad enough already that there is imbalance between ranks and tanks due to limitation of rank (or funds) but to throw the additional imbalance of double armor, double power, speed, and a repair kit on top of it and a situation of some imbalance becomes impossible.

 

For example I am just now breaking into the realm of a rank where M3 equipment is starting to become available to me. A lot of opponents in the rounds I play have some kind of M3 hull or turret. That automatically creates some imbalance, but, I deal with it because it's a function of rank. But to throw drugging on top of that imbalance makes the game extremely frustrating. Even if I do attempt to drug it is futile. Thus, I do not. It is rare that you'll ever see me with all 3 enabled, and, that would only be if I happen to pick up all three.

 

Drug back? Unless a person has the same exact tank and turret then drugging back doesn't work and it's just a waste of your own supplies. Then you've lost the round and lost supplies for no good reason.

 

I just quit or pause now. I won't let them blow me up and add to their own personal theft of crystals due to their cheating.

When you see a guy with over 2.5 d/l you know either he drugs or he plays against paused players :D

If the latter is true then I praise him. He's doing the one thing I wish I could do to the mults on my team -_-
