I suggest to reduce the reload speed of stock shaft to 7 seconds. I tried shaft out yesterday.  It is somewhat balanced, but the enemy definitely got the upper hand against it. Seven seconds is manageable and balanced; not too slow or fast. What do you think?

Also just in case, this doesn't revert updates as the previous shaft was 5 seconds reload.

Well, to balance it, I have a rather simpler solution.

Increase its critical damage and critical chance.

Critical damage can be increased to probably 1000 or 1100 and average critical chance can be increased to 35-40.

Now that more and more UTs are being given out to the players, the game "balance" (balance, what balance?) is getting absolutely out of hand.

Previously, you could find one, maybe two status augments in one battle. Now it's almost impossible not to find at least one Emp Gauss, Stun Striker, Ap Rail, etc. in each team.

Sure, we can use Hulls Augments, but only one at a time. this means that we WILL get stomped by whatever the enemy has. Each battle is becoming worse by the day and the overall gaming experience is suffering even more. 

I have a couple of those augments, and I can see how bad they are for the game and not only that. They make me NOT want to use anything else. Why should I bother using twins/rico, or firebird when I have much better options?

It might sound surprising, but imo it was better when UT were truly rare and only a bunch of whales had access to them.

So first they overbuffed it and now they overnerfed it.

So here my proposal to rebalance it.

 

MK1:

Max sniping damage (normal) - 1350

Max sniping damage (critical) - 1650

Reload - 7 seconds.

 

MK8:

Max sniping damage (normal) - 2700

Max sniping damage (critical) - 3300

Reload - 5 seconds.

Magnum is a great team turret, great for helping teammates by damaging their attackers, but it barely ever one shot kills, and you dont have time to shoot again beofre all your work is put to waste as another teammate deals the 300 dmage left that you left behind. Since this hapens, magnum never ges kills, and while it can still play a key role in winning a CTF or Rugby battle, it won't get any points or rewards as it isnt doing the full kills. I suggest magnum gets a buff to make it able to get more kills rather than just having all their kills stolen. I SUGGEST that magnum get a damage buff - maybe somewhere between 150 to 500 damage.

Did you factor this before module or what? If we buff Magnum again, gonna expect armies of Griffin's...

I agree with u, magnum is too weak now, complete trash. It needs at least damage buff mentioned.

Unless if the buff makes magnum super popular (which I doubt it will), I don't think I'm gonna buy griffin module. Never needed it, and probably never will.

I agree with this suggestion. I think people draw away from it because they think that if you buff Magnum so it can one-shot medium hulls and what have you, we're gonna see ten thousand people using it daily. But the thing is, Magnum is just so hard to use that no one really likes to use it. As such, if you DO put in the effort, you should get more than five points. So yes, Magnum should get a buff. And not a lot of people will use it, just like not a lot of people use it now. It's so hard.

I am a good player with magnum cause I am the biggest stealer of kills cause I see my teammates fight with enemy I wait for the enemy's hp to decrease to half then I shoot him down xd 

Actually u can do more kills with magnum if ur an expert

 

@nikunj04 well I think magnums have decreased a lot but be care full when I am in a battle against u xd then it might be usefull to u xd

Its not about whether or not magnum can kill. It most definitely can. Its about the efficiency of the turret. Despite being able to deal damage while hiding, its performance doesn't even come close to other turrets performance due to these factors:

• Long reload.

• The need to be accurate.

• Massive damage drop offs when splashing as opposed to landing direct hits.

 

A good magnum player who is in their element can land 10 kills in 15 minutes. Other turrets can hit 30 or 40 kills in 15 minutes.

It depends on how they play it and what hull they are using and what map.

They can get a LOT more than 10 kills in 15 minutes.

Many turrets can't hit 40 kills in 15 minutes.

Well, maybe 15 or even 20. But at that point, the requirements would have to be perfect to pull it off.

Well only a few turrets other than magnum can't get 40 kills in 15 minutes even in their perfect element. That's why I said 30 or 40.

Bruh, what about your gauss, camping whole the time with emp and ap augments + crisis . It needs snipping reload nerf and aracade shot nerf

Magnum doesn't need to move, Gauss you need to. 

Magnum shoots in an arc in artillery/cannon mode, Gauss is linear.

Magnum has an AP Augment as well.
