Meaning behind my name change (I_Am_Unkown)

Hello! I_Am_Unkown here, and today I’ll be talking about the meaning behind my new name. And be giving a bit of my insight to a extra to Immune. Sorry for not writing or posting or anything to the people who actually bother reading my articles….

So basically Kuhaku shouldn’t actually be Kuhaku….it should actually be kūhaku but since Tanki doesn’t allow special symbols I just went with Kuhaku, which means white. Completely different from the true meaning that I had intended.

Kūhaku means the blank. Not blank, which is buranku. Confusing huh. Japanese, I know.

So basically Kūhaku means The Blank. This terms comes from my favorite anime, No Game No Life. I could go on days about what this anime is about. But basically The Blank is actually two people, brother and sister, whose names are Sora and Shiro. These two are legendary gamers, the best in the world, but all their accounts don’t actually have a username (only one of them doesn't have a username, the other three go by SUB01, SUB02, and SUB03. Each of the siblings control up to two accounts at a time). Because of this, the world has dubbed them, The Blank.

Now, I’m nowhere even CLOSE to becoming the best gamer in the world. Not by a looong shot. But this is my goal that I will never reach. A goal that no matter how hard that I try, I will never reach. Because no matter how good you are at a game, there will always, always be someone better than you. Always.

So yeah, that’s the meaning behind my name change. When it comes down to writing articles, I’ll still go by I_Am_Unkown. And moving on, here’s a little teaser to the final chapter of Immune.

This story takes place about six years after Jonathan left Castle Ebro.

Olivia woke up, just as she had done for the past three months- in utter darkness.

She was held prisoner in a Skyland city, called Jimapala. She was kidnapped by slaver traders in Castle Ebro, five years ago, and they took her across the Sea of the Lost to the Skylands - a three week journey.

Kept in the cargo hold of the slave trader’s ship, along with another fifty slaves, the journey was cold and exhausting. When they finally arrived in the Skylands, barely 20 made it alive. The rest either died from exhaustion, cold, or disease. She was strong, at the age of 14, she knew how to keep herself warm. How to survive, but that was for the weather nearly 3000 kilometers south. She was dying, slowly, and the lack of sunlight didn’t help.

Until one day, she heard the ship finally slow down, for the first time in nearly a month.

The jailer slammed the door opened and walked down the stairs. Unchaining the locks, he yelled at everyone to get out of the ship, as they had done twice before when restocking supplies. But this time was different.
