Some of the prices are beyond comprehension and only a complete fool would use tankoins to acquire a paint. Just look at the tankoin paint, it compares in price (meaning it is insane) to that skin container they would like you to buy for 30,000 tankoins, i mean who in their right mind would buy either of those.

True.......and not true.

This 15th container and the probability of getting 10k is based in my experience on 1-rank and 2- how much inventory you actually have in your garage in relation to what is still available in the container that you do not have. 1 and 2 go hand in hand usually. The lower the rank the more chance you have of "not getting" 10k.

Oh yeah i mixed up the 1K reward with the price, my bad. But this doesn't really matter as it turns out that i was wrong in this one as well

I can personally confirm this phenomenon. Emptying your epic pool does in fact reduce your epic drop rate in normal containers.

This is my Cont Drop pool (i dont have regulars on me so just ignore the exotic and add 1k cry.

Since the summer started (already had all epics and around 40 legendaries left) I got maybe like 3 epics from my normal conts and like 10+ legendaries from normal conts. Prize pool of each category does effect the drops i first noticed it when i cleared out the blue tier.

I must also say that the challenges (before the 15th, 30th, and 45th tiers got replaced with ultra Containers) did some contributing in clearing out the prize pool.

So if you had 1 account where you bought the battle pass every time it came out and did all the weekend events for a year and participated in the funds as they appeared before the change.

You would notice a before and after effect it has on the prize pool.

With the missions update discouraging multiple alt accounts, the upcoming key update limiting the number of UCs gained per event and mobile soon being converted into HTML5, the number of containers I'll be opening will likely decrease considerably from here on out. 

 

The key update is coming in the near future so I opened all of the containers I had saved up. Since January, I opened 13,742 normal containers.

Common: 58.45%

 

Uncommon: 25.70%

 

Rare: 10.91%

 

Epic: 4.03%

 

Legendary: 0.90%

 

Since they removed commons from Ultra Containers last year, I've opened 14,024.

Uncommon: 69.33%

 

Rare: 17.09%

 

Epic: 10.94%

 

Legendary: 2.08%

 

Exotic: 0.56%

 

So to recap what happened this year, normal containers lost the ability to receive back-to-back rewards from every rarity except Common in December/January, which distorted the drop rates and I'd like to believe is effectively a nerf to normal containers on its own.

Then we saw a little later that having a near empty or empty epic pool noticeably decreased your epic drop rate over time in normal containers.  If your epic pool is empty then that means you're getting fewer crystals overall than you should be getting. Some people may not even see an epic for hundreds of normal containers. 

 

 

The only difference I've noticed with Ultra Containers the past few months is that my Rare drop rate was going lower than usual. Normally it would hover around 17-18%, but the past few months, it's been dipping towards 15%. In the last Ultra Weekend with only 212 UCs opened for that event, I got this:

It's becoming common for the Rare and Epic drop numbers to be fighting each other to come out on top. Sometimes Rare started slow and eventually went to near double that of epic, as expected. But in that event above, it was most egregious. You'll also see that I got 4x as many Exotics than I did Legendary. That was an eventful iteration. The only normal drop rate was Epic.

Shouldn't be long before you clear the legendries, though it'll have a better chance of happening from ultra containers, just gotta hope your openings don't get limited to the forced 25K crystals in those if you open by 15's.

Well if they don't make dailies even somewhat worth it the only time im going to play this game is in the weekends or when a challenge with skin i dont have comes out. Then i'll just spam ASL. Got 300 stars in hours lol

So as of January 1 2024, I have decided to do something that will definitely test my patience and temptation. 

I will be saving all the common containers/keys for 1 whole year starting January 1st 2024.
The exact date that I will be opening them is not sure, probably around December Christmas 50% sales.


Since this is a F2P challenge, I will only be saving containers that I get from free events, daily/weekly/ seasonal events and the daily shop container for 1230 crystals. So to sum up I will not be buying any containers from the shop with tankcoins.
I will also be giving a monthly-end update (total 12) on how much containers I was able to save that month.

And on December after the challenges have been done,  I will post a video with full statistics and a sped up opening. I believe this is essential since it can give an insight to what exactly a F2P player gets all around the year!

Also I will use this Topic area to give 12 monthly updates on the containers saved and a simple statistics on their content if approved by the moderator.

The rates have had no specific change, aside the law of back to back rarities being returned for regular containers. That said, I have not yet confirmed the chances of a back to back legendary item.

It may be under the illusion that we are not getting less epic containers that you may feel the same, but I generally believe those have not had any changes either.

Well keys are here, as well as player-specific drop rates that can be found in the reward section. There's not much reason for me to continue posting this here as the player can now check for themselves how lucky they can be. 

To start off, the exact numbers that they have given us for the drop rates assumes that your entire reward pool is full and that you have all turrets/hulls unlocked as well as being above the rank that augments unlock. The contributions look like this:

 

Common Containers:

Common (1k crystals) -> 50%

Uncommon:  6.8% each -> 34%

RARE --> 10%

Repair Kits - 4%

10,000 crystals - 2%

Paints - 2%

Augments - 2%

EPIC --> 5%

Paints - 1.3%

Augments - 1%

Epic Key - 0.9%

25,000 crystals - 0.5%

LEGENDARY --> 1%

Paints - 0.6%

Augments - 0.3%

100,000 crystals - 0.08%

100 Tankoins - 0.02%

RARE --> 20%

As you empty the different pools, the chances will shift. 

 

After November 17th, they reverted the nerf that increased your common drop rate and reduced your uncommon drop rate. So those who would like some more supplies will get them more often than in the previous year.

I would prefer choosing my own reward.

I would never ever ever choose something as lame as a paint as a reward (but i don't begrudge those who would).

To me, nothing screams 'noob' like a brightly colored paint sticking out on the battlefield...

 

But at the same time, I would prefer to choose something from a turret or a hull I actually use rather than from the 14 I don't use.

Maybe you should factor that into your calculations.

 

Just because you GET an augment doesn't mean you will USE the augment...

Honestly, I'd much rather get any cosmetic than get a useless augment I'll never use or a status augment (most of them anyway).
