Ideas for the Garage!

If you go to the garage, every equipment is shown and can be accessed with one click, except for paints. To acces paints you first have to click on a different item and then manually click on the paints tab. So please add a way to acces paints with a single click to remove this inconvenience.

This is a known issue. The paints tab was intentionally removed from the garage quick access, most likely so that grenades could be put there instead. I'm sure the paints button will be added back if devs find a workaround for it, because they're certainy aware that the current design is inconvenient.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing as a dedicated player who thoroughly enjoys the game and appreciates all the hard work that goes into keeping it engaging and fun.  

 

I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe could enhance the user experience and give players more flexibility with their choices. Specifically, it would be fantastic if players could have the option to downgrade their tanks back to MK1-0 and receive a refund of the crystals spent on upgrades.  

 

This system could allow players to reconsider their strategies, experiment with different upgrades, or simply regain crystals for other uses. To avoid misuse, this could be a one-time option or limited to certain conditions, ensuring it aligns with the game's balance.

When you're grouping with people, then you enter the garage and then the leader of the group starts to queue into battle, it kicks you out of the garage and makes you go back to lobby and I think it shouldn't kick you out of the garage, it's so annoying. I don't know if it's a bug or it's intended that way, but I think it's not supposed to do that.

The video that displays Gauss's salvo still showcases the aiming time of the pre-gauss change, misleading players into thinking that gauss will still be able to snipe that fast at mk7-20 (Without the use of a certain augment, that is).

I really wanna take a good picture of a specific tank/hull-turret combo in a certain map in a specific pose/place/scene. And there's no easy way to do it yet. 

And I really want to play some gamemodes and maps that aren't in the normal map rotation in the quickplay, or on the list.

 

There are problems in the way, such as:

  1. UI elements on the tank
  2. fixed camera position
  3. limited variety of customisation you can do to your tank since everything needs to be bought(and some stuff isn't unlockable at all like the juggernaut or the syche turret)

My suggestions are:

  • Make the seasonal gamemodes accessible. Or, a similar mode without the event features so that it won't wear out the seasonal gameplay event it's from.
  •  To add an option to toggle off all UI elements in game and a freeroam/noclip camera, or even a replay mode of the match.
  •  On top of that, an option to your custom server to change into any hull or turret and any paint whether it's unlockable or not.


I think it will not only make it easier to take good montages of TO gameplay and very good screenshots of any tank. But also with the option for more custom gameplay in private servers, anyone could play anything they want and not wait for a specific time of a year/month/week for it(such as terminator, zombies, gun-game and etc.)

Meh, balance updates are dynamic. Who knows — maybe in a year or two Gauss aiming will be turned back to how it's shown in the video. Kinda pointless to waste time on updating all these videos every time a patch note makes them slightly outdated.

Cool idea. At least we already have the photo feature in the garage, so you can take a picture with the angle you want and then photoshop the tank into a picture of the empty map.

@Maf It's a creative approach, but wouldn't it be much easier to take the screenshot in the map itself rather than going through photoshop and making sure the tank doesn't look like a sticker on a map .

Yeah, it would be way easier, which is why I said it's a cool idea :happy:
