Funny patch on assist changes though, Will be interesting to see how bad it is for certain turrets as expected

Ya, I totally agree never have bots for juggernaut; unless they significantly improve the AI. I don't know what they added bot support for juggernauts in the first place can't they see it will ruin the match.

Yes, only players. But don't put stupid non moving turret players. Was in 2 battles, enemy got 9999 GS Jugg. My team; this crap game decides to put 3 players (in 2 battles) that didn't move turret to be Juggs...

Hey, longtime reader on the forum in general but not a big poster - I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong discussion. I tried to find a post on the topic I write about below (whose purpose is to seek insight), but the closest I could find was a 2023 post about restructuring the Legend rank, which is not what I'm trying to get at below.

I recently ranked up to Legend 1 after not playing for a few years–I played a lot of hours in the 2014-2020 era, then started back up a few months ago. I came back at Field Marshal or Commander (can't remember which), and I now play exclusively MM. The main meat of what I'm talking about is this: 

Before ranking up to Legend, I played MM with other players equivalent to my rank or just below (General was the lowest rank I saw in MM battle when I was Generalissimo). Regardless, I never saw a Legend in a MM battle until I hit the Legend 1 rank. Going from a top three finisher in almost every single battle and then ranking up to Legend 1 (and here, I want to make clear that I was like 1,600,100 exp [a little baby legend] lol), is a massive, massive change in gameplay that I couldn't have had the chance to encounter. So, if anyone has any advice or insight, how do I effectively play in a battle with Legends 50+ ranks higher when I'm just a Legend 1? Is there any nuance to MM that would allow me to play with only Legends 1-20 (this range is just an example, any numbers could be chosen here)? Or, how can I practice in such a way that I can actually make a dent in a battle with a map filled with Legend 78s, Legend 36s, Legend 29s, etc.? 

I've made lots of mistakes with my garage in upgrading things that I shouldn't have for the sake of expanding my tank (because I've always pretty exclusively been a railgun user except for a shaft phase around mk5 ranks that I'm not proud of). So, for example, I upgraded turrets in the past to mk7 to try them despite never having used them before, leading me, of course, to the viscious circle of me not liking them...because I'm bad with them. All that to say that my tank is not fully upgraded so I'm Legend 1 and still at 9245 gear score with my current mainly used mk8 items: Wasp, Viking, Railgun, Hammer, plus Brutus or Crisis; my protections are in desperate need and are next on the list. If all of this is irrelevant, sorry, it's just for context on the type of player I am. Just to reiterate the big question, does anyone have any advice on how in the world I navigate MM battles with players leagues ahead of me?

Moving turrets is so 2019.  It's all about just pressing the space bar and holding it down now, from what I've witnessed.  I swear that if friendly fire were on in matchmaking, half of the players in this game would get banned for huge amounts of team kills.  I miss the old gameplay that was fun, fast, and tactical rather than the one-armed bandit wish me luck approach we have now.

Lets discuss match making!

There is NO fairness or sportsmanship, even blending or anything that resembles a blended  team. EVERY MATCH is extremely lop sided and unfair no matter what is being said.  One side ALWAYS has a clear advantage.  The gap in Gear scores are 2-3 and 4 thousand points difference and one side ALWAYS has all of the high g.s. tanks. You can tell who the bot tanks are, They are at my rank and have a 18 to 1 kill rate.  How is that fair?

I started a new tank to try out some of the new turrets and the level of skill and experience is so grossly uneven its barely even playable. Even I am put up against tankers that are 6-7 ranks below me and will quit a game if its very unfair.  And I am a first Sargent and have been on a winning team only four times.  ( I stopped playing with this account because since my other post,  I am ONLY put in the tail end of slaughters  and grossly out matched games.)  

(*** look at "power of ones"  post several above mine....  58 to 1  game k/d...  How can you even claim that is fair !!!)

I am a decent player.  I used to be a purist and never used supply boxes, Ive caught 53 gold boxes, I have a 2.18 k/d ...used less than 1,500 supply boxes ( !43 of those health) and 175 hours of play, so its not that I am a bad player and just whinning cuz the game is tough... I can handle tough... this is just straight unfair.

I challenge Wolf and Carp to start brand new tanks WITHOUT ANY benefit of their dev  abilities for just one week and record their battles to see  how far they make it in rank and to show us how its done and if its even possible. 

  You guys are our illustrious leaders , and as we know leading by example is the only way that you can  win someones undying loyalty, Would you consider showing us that its possible to progress in the game? 

 

If you will do this I might even name my next child Tanki in honor of the game. ... if my mate will let me....  lol.

yeah, almost every battle in MM is a one-sided massacre. Currently MM is just chaos where you can farm stars or test new p2w augments. The devs are aware of it and they're fine with that

MMMM point taken I suppose, but it was a draw. I refuse to get stuck in as it were and be cannon fodder, I always hang back with a long ranger and take pot shots.

That 1 kill against me by the way was a "out of the blue" self destruction, you no, just the usual tanki crap that hasn't been sorted yet. 

Also it was not my power-of-one account.
