I hope they will be stuck in a bank of stars so i can use them when i am away from the game

Yeah, the best thing would be if they became a third currency, just like Crystals and tankoins, so you could use as much as you want, when you want. But I'm not sure if developers would be so generous. I think more likely is that you will simply transfer excess stars to the next challenge.

There are times when we all usually finish the 14 day challenge way too early and when we play after that we keep earning the challenge stars which goes to waste and also lowers the motivation to play everyday. How about when we complete the existing challenge we get a new set of 14 days challenge, that would also motivate us for playing everyday to complete the challenges and keep earning rewards for them and the extra challenge stars we get would also be utilised.

P.S. The fastest I have completed the 14 days challenge is I think within 4 days and I had to wait for 10 more days to get the new ones, in the meantime I barely logged in to play the game because of lower rewards.

Most of us have found ourselves in a predicament of completing challenges early on with a lot of excess stars that contribute to nothing. So, to provide a further incentive for players, every 200 stars accumulated after completing challenges will generate 10 tankcoins.

We do not accept ideas regarding increase of rewards / any bonuses.

Great. Now I would like your opinion, NOT as a moderator, but as a player.

Personally I don't think it's a bad idea, but rules are rules you know.

Rules are rules of course. They can also restrict decent ideas from being implemented which would entice and motivate players to continue playing.......... just saying. You have to break them sometimes.

If I remember correctly, they already plan to make a system more or less like that, if I remember correctly the "contracts", if you make more stars of the challenge, then you can exchange them for items in the "contracts"

This is like the fifth time someone suggests this idea, I am sure the developers already thought of it themselves before..

Them "planning" means literally nothing. Half of the things in "Development plans" are sitting incomplete for like a year already and these things are NOT hard to add at all. like READDING OLD FEATURE LIKE GIFTS. So i expect for Contracts feature to come in the next..... ill say 100 years just to be on a safe side. And at this point i would take 1 crystal for 1000 stars, im tired of being at 1-3k extra stars every challenge knowing damn well they are "planning" to add a star trading thing.

Most of ideas are going to get declined / not implemented (even if labelled as valid), so the first thing I care with my idea is the #1 discussion. Because I don't really think they will get implemented, so ideas about increasing of funds even if they're not declined in this section I will not suggest them as they will not generate a good discussions.

This is for me surely, the section isn't like what I say.

Well, exactly making a game is not easy, and adding things both new and old, neither. It must be seen that everything is fine, make the design, program it... etc, if they take time it is for some reason, not because it never comes out, for the moment they are doing everything planned to the letter

but developers indeed do it sometimes. they said declined  for crystal box return but it's now for lower ranks

I have some experience in coding also i am a begginer Graphics Artist. I can tell you re-adding gifts for them is nothing! at most its couple hours of bug testing and finding old assets. and even then how about times where they already had everything ready all they had left is to bug test it, and guess what it takes them months to bug test and optimize a feature just to the point where it can be open to mass testing (added to tanki test)? I know their team is not 600+ people so im not gonna compare them to big games like another people do but thats just too much even for a small developer team they are all graphics right now and when it comes to adding the same graphics they just hope for holy spirit to code it into the game or something. What im seeing is they have like 10000 artists creating/updating graphics and 1 coder that was kidnapped to code for tanki.

That sounds reasonable. Only thing I'm concerned with is WHEN that feature is coming. Something tells me that's gonna be well into next year. I doubt I'll even stick around for that long.

@King.David Thing is, right now devs can afford to give out tons of stars in missions and challenges, because they know that any extra stars beyond the first 3000 will be useless. If additional starts gain a purpose, then suddenly the economics of star earning becomes more complex, so you end up with one of three options:

  1. Stars become more difficult to acquire, so instead of getting 4000+ if you simply complete all missions, you will barely get 3000 from missions and it will be a struggle to earn extra starts for the additional rewards, likely to a point where it won't be worth the effort. Meanwhile, if you missed a few missions, even getting the 3000 for the challenge will become very difficult.
  2. Extra starts simply turn into additional rewards, like you suggest. This would only happen if devs calculate that the game's economy allows them to increase free rewards for all players. They could just as well increase rewards by other means, like increasing mission prizes, having more boosted fund days, more giveaways, etc.
  3. Some other rewards are reduced in order to compensate for the extra stars. In fact, this a pretty typical thing for them to do when they need to nerf rewards — they reduce rewards in one aspect, but introduce a new bonus to mask the change as beneficial for players.
The most obvious example of this is the recent container change, where they massively nerfed all container reward tiers, but they increased chances or rare rewards and introduced legendary augments to normal containers, thus making it look as if the change was beneficial for players overall.
So, in context of your idea, you could end up getting rewards from extra stars at the cost of reduced rewards from the main challenge, for example.

There should be a Star Shop at the center of the Challenges Tab in the Missions section. In there, we can buy things with Stars we save up.

This encourages players to play more everyday, to earn more and more stars, leading to an increase in Tanki's game activity even more, leading to more battles and Maps, leading to less waiting time for players, leading to happier players, leading to players able to buy in the Star Shop, leading to most of them able to have Premium Account, leading to more nonstop battles to get x2 Crystals and Stars, leading to ..... success in the Tanki community, etc.!

I didn't play Tanki Online everyday during this recent Challenge, but still got over 3000 Stars, because of the Special Missions that we get during Events that come and go. So whenever we get more than 3000 Stars, they should be automatically added to the Star Shop.

We can buy things like Crystals, Containers, Coin boxes, Premium, etc. with Stars.

Since many players finish the challenge earlier than the time specified for it, why don't the developers make rewards after completing the challenge, such as 10 000 crystals for every 500 or 1000 stars after the number of stars required to complete the challenge? In my opinion, this will be more positive and effective for the players.

Furthermore, it can be  a good way to give players more interests while earning crystals.
