Greetings, tankers and Shafters alike, to the most elite and exclusive Shaft club in the EN Tanki community!

The mobile snipers group; a ragtag bunch of Shafters from all ranks who find true joy in the art of mobile sniping. What is it, you ask? Well, for the most part mobile sniping is simply moving around the map with Shaft - attacking here, bringing up the defence there, creating a distraction somewhere else...

Mobile sniping is our prime employment in Tanki, and something we all are passionate about. Does that sound like you, too? If so, this could be the group for you!

 

 

Why should I join?

 

 

 

 

The first question any sniper should ask is "why should I join?" (I say sniper, because if you're not a sniper you can't join ^_^). The reason this club was formed is so that the snipers of the EN community can get together in one place to share tips, play together, and make new friends. But, there are other reasons to join. First, there are sometimes organized events to take part in, such as Hornet/Shaft games. There will also be the occasional giveaway/contest with rewards in the form of container promocodes and crystal prizes.

 

But there's more! If you're a newer sniper, this will also be an opportunity to learn from the masters of the trade. Advanced snipers will gain the opportunity to mentor the next "generation" of mobile snipers.

 

 

 

What do I need to join?

 

 

 

Gee, I'm touched that you want to join this club. Unfortunately, it is by invite only. That means that there are requirements to get into it.

 

1. You MUST habitually use Shaft (preferably with a light hull; other hulls can't very well act as true mobile snipers).

2. You preferably use Light Capacitors and Hornet (owning Hornet Mk5+ is a requirement).

3. You must be ranked at least Major or above.

4. Discord is obligatory (MS has it's own server, and that is where all club communication takes place).

5. You must own the Urban paint, available in the garage.

 

Oh wait, more formalities. There are circumstances where either exceptions will be made, or a tanker will be blocked from the club disregarding eligibility.

 

1. No tanker will be allowed in the club if their form of Shafting involves RFM. This is a judgement call on my part.

2. A tanker may be allowed into the club as a protege even if they do not meet the rank requirements.

3. Shafters may be temporarily excused from owning Urban paint if the purchase of it entails financial problems.

3. If a tanker is banned from the Discord server, their membership will be rescinded during their ban period and will not be automatically re-granted. If you are banned once, you may never be able to join again.

 

 

Gaining Access to the Server

 

 

 

You fit all the requirements, and you want to get in? Perfect. All you need to do is go to https://discord.gg/PwMKbqPz4d

Once in, go to the applications thread and make a note to me, outlining why you want to join. You must include the following:

 

1. Your nickname (specifically the nickname of your Shaft account, if you have more than one)

2. Your rank

3. Why you want to join (don't try to butter us up, but is it for meeting snipers? Or playing battles with other shafters? Or just for no reason? You still might get in if it's the latter :D).

 

Once you do this, your application will be considered. In this time, you may interact with the moderators in the Applications channel, as they get to know whether you would be a good fit for the club. If declined, you will be kicked out of the server. If accepted, you will be given permissions.

*Important* If you have not been given permissions on the server, but are still allowed into the applications channel, you are still being considered. Be patient.

Having not been on the forum in a while, forgive me for not updating the post. Challenges and events have been scrapped because I'm too lazy for the former and iFrosTiger completely deserted me on the latter ;)

No - it'll take roughly 2 seconds before we snipe you. But generally, yes, you'll be stuck full of LC shots like a Shaft-cushion. 

And I won't even mention that someone in this clan uses Hornet/RFM - I won't mention it.
