With tomorrow’s (November 20) server restart at 02:00 UTC, a new update will be released.

 

Textures’ quality scaling settings

 

In the last episode of the V-LOG, we mentioned that soon you will be able to boost the game’s performance by decreasing textures’ quality. 

This feature will be added to the game tomorrow!

In the “Graphics” section of the game’s settings a new “Image resolution” parameter will appear. Set the parameter to the lowest value to boost your FPS.

Of course, the quality of game textures will be worse but your gaming experience will become smoother. This setting is significant for players with weaker or older PCs.

 

Battle list

 

Now when you leave a PRO battle you will return to the battle list, instead of the lobby as earlier.

Another change, for all dropdown lists we have added a search feature. You can see it when you choose a map while creating a battle or when you choose a country before entering the Shop.

 

Other changes

• You can now use F11 to enable full-screen mode while in a battle.

• Added an option to receive direct messages from players that are in your friends list. You can enable it in the game’s settings.

I tested it on test server. I got a boost of as much as 200FPS when i lowered it to minimum

Literally same. I've been asking for it for AGES and, oddly enough, it's the one thing that I hated most about HTML5. I'm so glad this is added.
Tho tbh I kinda got used to going into settings to enable fullscreen :P

Honestly this whole set of changes is great. Awesome QOL update!

Excellent update, I'm glad you are optimizing the game. In the next update they could fix some other things like:

- Fix Shaft's gameplay.

- Leave nicknames of friends highlighted during battles just like in the flash where the nicknames turn green.

- Allow to see the missions, stars and crystals during the battle.

- Add V or R keys to see the equipment of a nearby enemy.

- Leave the camera on the tanki smoother.

These are simple changes but will greatly improve gameplay

Can we have a special bundle that contain AP immunity for hulls and AP for turrets for Black Friday ? Or simpler, a bundle with shot effects.

No, this update will help players with weak / old PCs by improving their performances. In fact, this update can make your game feel even smoother.

Great for new players trying out Tanki! Same for mobile! A step in the right direction. 

 

I'm still waiting patiently for TO Mobile iOS though.
