Drone and Supply changes

Tankers!

With the servers restart on April 30th an update will be released.

In this update, we will change the names and characteristics of supplies and drones as well as adding new augments.

Supplies

The first types of supplies appeared at the very beginning of the game - in 2009.

They were very different from the current ones both in the way that they work and how they look. Nowadays, supplies help you to boost your tank, repair it, and allow your drones to work.

Just one problem remains - you often complain that the game is too dependent on supplies. We have decided to change the parameters of two types of supplies - "Double Armor" and "Double Damage".

Thus, for low ranks "Double Damage" and "Double Armor" will become weaker, which means that personal skills will be more important in a battle. By ranking up and upgrading drones, you gradually return the «Double Armor» and «Double Damage» effect to its previous form.

Drones

Nowadays, drones have a passive bonus, increasing your armor and damage parameters.

With this update, instead of the previous passive bonus, drones will give you a bonus to boosted armor and boosted damage supplies.

If your drone is fully upgraded, you get double armor and double damage when boosted armor and boosted damage supplies are activated.

As for the «Brutus» drone that is currently giving this bonus, it will stop using batteries.

Check out other changes of the parameters of drones here:

How the numbers are going to change:

  • «Boosted armor» supply: decreasing incoming damage by 25%, common damage * 0.75 (previously it was decreasing damage by 50%).

  • «Boosted damage» supply: increasing outcoming damage by 33%, common damage * 1.33 (previously it was increasing damage by 100%).

  • In case your drone is 20/20 upgraded, «Boosted armor» is decreasing incoming damage by 50%, common damage * 0.5, and «Boosted damage» is increasing outcoming damage by 100%, common damage * 2.

  • In case your opponent activated boosted damage and you activated double armor, you get common damage * 0.75 * 1.33 = common damage. If you both have drones fully upgraded, you get common damage * 0.5 * 2 = common damage

As these supplies are not always doubling numbers we have renamed them to «Boosted Armor» and «Boosted Damage».

New augment

A novelty for Isida — the legendary augment giving you the new-old way of playing with this turret:

  • Vampire nanobots:

It will be impossible to effectively heal allies with this augment, but it becomes possible to heal yourself! Healing efficiency is low, but it will be possible to survive a moment longer in a close combat fight and win. Critical damage is removed.

You can get the new augment out of Ultra Containers which will be available in the Shop during May Holiday Celebrations.

Good luck on the battlefield!

Brutus not needing batteries - ?

Kinda apprehensive about the supplies update, but let's see how it turns out.

Bringing vampire-like abilities back to Isida, but with an augment - hmm didn't expect that, at all...

I don't really play the game much anymore, but I can say, this is a good update, the new Trickster reduces the paywall behind Crisis by an amount. But still, 30% is less than 70%, so the paywall is still there, but the paywall is a bit smaller now.

Vampire Nanobots increases the paywall behind Isida now, but I think this will be one of the worse ultra container only augments, because healing is decreased, which I feel like is needed for Isida. Also the damage crits are gone, which is once again worse than current Isida, since hardly anyone has Armadillo except for those who got lucky on this event, in the special missions, or forked out hundreds to get it. Also if you both have double armor and double damage activated, you will do 0.75 * 1.33 the current common damage amount, which is 0.9975, which makes the enemy survive slightly longer in longer periods of time, although in smaller "chunks" of damage, this will be nearly non-existent.

Thank you once again for an interesting update, not just for us free-to-play players but also for the buyers in the game.

Enables self-healing when dealing damage to opponents. 50% of damage you deal is added to your HP.

old but gold. vampires are back.
at wich ratio it turns the enemy health to its own? 50% like those good old days or lower than 20%

Its a fixed rate depending on the normal damage. So like u deal 266 damage every tick, u will heal yourself 133 every tick. However if the guy has Isida prot and defender drone, you will deal 66 damage but still heal 133. This is how I heard at least

I don't know, but I have a friend that would be willing to test it out by buying the ultra containers and getting the Vampire Nanobots augment. ?

50% self-healing is overpowered.

If not so OP, no buyer will buy. It is basically the original isida, but no isida train chain

—————

supply and drone explanation too complex.

i simpliy it for you.

To help buyer get bigger advantage at low rank, non buyer will be less powerful and weak.

you as buyer with already 20/20 drones, will enjoy better at fast kill of non-skill free player who cant afford 20/20 drone at their rank.

for high rank legends, better spend crystal quickly on 20/20 brutus drone if you are cheap, to avoid be the free kills in battle.

also those cheap on drones like 0/20 mechanic and trickster, better cash in crystal and time, to get 20/20 for those score farming drone, or you are a free kill in high rank battle.

those people with already 20/20 drone like booster/ defender/ saboteur, you can ignore the change since nothing change for you

Dear "bring back isida self-heal" people from 2016, your prayers have been answered! ?

Also nice to see that the battle list isn't forgotten.

I've already started

Bye bye up to half a million crystals that I wanted to spend on something else, like a Mk7 Product Kit

Are dropped supplies affected by this? And if I give my team supplies by using Engineer, how strong will their effect be?

Depends.  I used to play Isida all the time.  I never play it now - it's boring.

If they have a decent compromise between damage and self-healing I might actually start using it again.  The last version (with 10% self-healing) was just awful.  Needs to be better than that.

And better it is. Your wish has been granted. Are you willing to fork over the money for completing the wish? ?

I HOPE they nerfed Isida's Vampire Alteration so that it does not self-heal 143 hitpoints per tick (572 health per second). That was severely OP on the test server and Isidas were practically undying when they got to you.

I think that nerfing double damage is fine but double armor should remain as it is as tanks with low health ( wasp, hornet, hopper) would find it difficult to survive given critical damage from turrets and strong augments .

I mean nerfing supplies is kinda a good choice but it will force players to get drones. But at the same time itll force players to be more skillful with their combinations than just camping in one spot. So in a way this ideal of a nerf would also affect heavy campers.

Yeah but a buyer at the super low ranks who has 3,000,000 crystals to spare will simply buy Brutus and reverse the nerf.

And the non-buyers who actually have supplies won't have supplies that are as strong as the aforementioned buyer who spent 3,000,000 crystals upgrading and speeding up the upgrades of his Brutus Drone.

Now you have to use drones all the time and playing with drone is very expensive. More supplies and  at least  six batteries ( 6*300= 1800 crystals ).

but the max drone would revert it back to its original supply stats meaning its still skill based. meaning nothing would be over powered.

I did not understand the reasoning behind this statement. Can you please elaborate on this?

I mean that heavy campers that used partial or maxed boosters or regular damage with sniping turrets with gauss and shaft including HC for shaft will now get less annoying after the update of supplies nerf meaning that it would be harder for many to kill rapidly in one hit.  So it would indirectly make campers less annoying. I know its not full proof, but this supply nerf would indirectly discourage camping since campers would constantly use double damage with booster or shaft with HC . Since double damage is key to 1 shoting when using Gauss and Shaft. in a way its gonna become slightly more skill based.
