I like how MM battles just feel more and more rigged. Like i just played a battle where firebird & freeze were attacking me at the same time but instead of the effects cancelling out each another or giving me small burn/freeze i get MAX freeze in like 2 seconds (freeze had adrenaline and firebird EMP) . then my team decided they'll ignore the existence of Flags in CTF match while enemy team decided to play Defender ASL with 1 guy easily stealing a flag with a goddamn hornet/railgun that would somehow oneshot my paladin mk8 (i changed into paladin hack after i saw how absurd the match was) i had 50% railgun and 40% armadillo so can i ask you HOW HE ONESHOTS ME??? Then i just fade through nuclear boxes and randomly lose like 50% of my HP in an instant while trying to attack. 

Not even kidding i lose like 95% and win only 5% MM matches. What a fun game we have.
I WAS NOT LAGGING i was having stable 60 fps with 30ping and nobody on my or enemy team lagged too so TO dont even tell me that i lagged.

Railgun with hyperspace can still instakill you if you're behind another tank, even if you have protection from it.

Firebird EMP heat effect is very low compared to standard Firebird.

I stopped playing as of now, the challenge doesn't have what i need anyway.

He was using that RNG alt where you either do like 2k dmg or you do 100dmg. Still im sure its impossible to deal 3000+ damage when enemy has 40% armadillo. 

Yeah fire EMP has lower heat but still doesn't make sense how im just instant max freeze it should be like 50% freeze not 100%.

Then explain me randomly losing half of my HP even tho nobody was shooting at me? Then there is weird thing how i just crit 6/10 times on armadillo user but i barely do crits against non-armadillo user. The crit rate is just way too obvious for it to be just unlucky shot and it literally happens every time. Then yesterday i played in a team that was squashing enemy team and i got like 5 critical mines in a row??? what??? aren't critical mines are suppose to have 1% crit chance? how tf did i got 4-5 in a row? its just these little things that make me think MM is rigged because i guess its not broken enough.

Round Destabilsation is currently doubled critical damage and halved normal damage, so 625 normal, 3,020 critical. Your Paladin can be one-shotted by it if you do not have Booster Armour while they have Boosted Damage. If you have Boosted Armour, then they should take off a maximum of 60% of your HP. Also randomly losing your HP may be because of a Hyperspace Railgun or Scoprion. Scorpion's projectile speed is very fast so if it doesn't physically hit you, it would look like you got damaged from nothing. Hyperspace has no impact force so it makes it harder to notice when you really get hit. 

If you notice anything suspicious, please take a short video so we can see what really went down and bring a proper conclusion.

RNG. I had the same thought shortly after Armadillo was released, but the opposite. I found that I was getting fewer critical hits against Armadillos making me believe Armadillo also affected the number of crits you received. RNG went back to normal after that.

Mine critical hits are 5% individually. You got lucky. 

If you have supercritical effect active from hornet or dictator OD, won't that will make all your mines do critical damage too?

Mines aren't affected by Supercharge.

1. So railgun can randomly oneshot medium hulls now? ok.
When i lose HP randomly i dont get hit by anything i play with sound also that battle did not have hyperspace or scorpion in the enemy team or another thing that would mess with impact force or visuals. when i get hit by an invisible object there is a sound or my hull just goes sicko mode for a second. Im not even going to bother with taking a video because im beyond sure that devs will do absolutely nothing about it and it happens rarely so i have no idea when im just randomly going to lose half of my HP but im pretty sure im not the only guy in tanki experiencing this bug.

2. I thought its RNG too but when i started paying attention while playing DM mode aka buyer magnet i would crit armadillos so often that you literally cannot convince me its just me getting lucky/unlucky also like i said it doesn't happen 50% or 90% of the time it literally happens 100% of the time for me.

3. even if dictator effected mine critical i was using Heavyweight Hunter i guess i got lucky. 5 mine crits in a row has 00003125% chance if i did my math correctly. Would rather have 5 exotics than 5 crit mines in a row.

Only Round Destabilization Railgun 30% of the time.

Destabilization gives you 3,020 critical damage with a flat critical chance of 30%.

Stock Railgun gives you 1,510 critical damage with a critical scheme of 30, 0, 5, 10,... 30, I believe.

Hyperspace increases damage by 200% for every tank pierced.

Like Me0w said. Currently Round Destabilsation and Hyperspace Rounds are the only Railgun augments that can one-shot a medium hull on equal footing. RDS requires you to win the 30% chance. Hyperspace requires the target to be the second hull penetrated.

@The_one_and_only  You are absolutely right. Matchmaking is an utter joke and is so plain for all to see. The game is freaking UNPLAYABLE. If I am lucky I get 1 good match out of 10. I dont want more turrets or graphics. FIX MATCHMAKING YOU GOONS!

So i did not want to waste time and decided to complete winning team mission ASAP. 

I equipped paladin hack and guess what. I single handedly captures 14 flags IN A ROW IN CTF. I don't know why but this paladin hack seems overpowered... Hmm what do you think. Paladin is good even without making your team insta-win though! If you use Paladin and YOU USE KEYBOARD CONTROLS!? You'll find out that tanki is filled with racists, "big man" even rich "clout people" (whatever these are suppose to be). Let me remind you its because i used paladin with keyboard and not because im literally oneshotting them everytime i meet them.

Today is my second day of being banned for 24 hours in chat - never in 10+ years have i had this, until the "new"  AI method of checking chat as been implemented. This is exactly the same as the previous time -  I reported (voted) a team mate, using the in-game reporting system, to alert mod's to the fact that a team "mate" is purposefully preventing their own team from playing, Following the battle, I complain in chat and post a screen shot - then I get a ban. So, to my question, which is in two parts (a) why is this behaviour allowed to happen when it is clearly a flagellant breach of the rules (b) if voting for a player, highlighting it in chat and posting a screen shot gets me banned from chat (!) please outline EXACTLY how to report someone where it will actually be taken seriously....

I have had a few problems with sandbox loading in the matchmaking system. I get the "Cannot load resources" error message or the game experiences major lag then crashing/soft locking. 

Do you have plans to make remastered maps only appear in pro battles?

I recently met @Opex-Rah in battle, and in battle chat asked him about the issue of fixing the profile pages. The reply I received was that he wasn't even aware that these existed.

Dear Hazel, dear community management, I am fully aware that you feel utter contempt for any player or customer who cares about profile pages. On a human level, you are of course free to feel whatever you want about this. But on a professional level, I do not understand why this minimal investment which would let Tanki look so much more alive and well groomed to existing and new players and customers, and would satisfy a strongly held desire by many players and customers, including your best paying whales, why on earth do you not just take the negligible effort of less than two coding hours to fix it?

For technical details on the issue, I take the liberty to quote an almost two year old submission.

Apparently the game developers are busy seeking paths to solve issues with the game and give it a good future. However, it is somewhat bizarre how they put tremendous programming effort into ever more disruptive changes to gameplay, but persistently ignore the one most efficient instrument to further that aim that would take less than two hours by one programmer to significantly further their aim: Updating the profile pages.

(1) On the face of it, an obviously not properly working website appalls players and customers. And to a visitor, the profile pages appear not properly working. Right on top of it, the players's tank is displayed, or rather not displayed, in Flash mode, which for these days only gives an error information to internet users. Tanki certainly knows the issue, as the end of Flash has been a main issue of company communication for more than a year. You have the html5 code for displaying current tanks, just copy it.

(2) Also on top of the page, there is (given even twice, to affirm its importance in judging an account) the information of an "efficiency ratio" score and rating for the player. Since the infamous parameter change of September, this efficiency ratio is going down for everyone (except a handful of players who cheat crystals without experience). It is psychologically incredibly dumb to use a ranking formula that makes everybody feel getting worse just by playing. Twist the formula to adapt to the parameter change.

(3) What is lacking on top of the pages is a finishing ratio for the player, which indicates the share of battle assignements that the player completed without leaving the battle prematurely. Giving this kind of information would nudge players to not desert battles they are assigned to, solving the one main issue of Matchmaking battles, namely desertion and the resulting uneven teams. As we all see now during the two weeks experiment, this issue still needs a solution and needs it more urgent than ever.

(4) Then the profile pages link to a separate "achievements" page while in fat numbers giving the overall score of the latter. However, these "achievements" pages are apparently not properly assessing information (for a long time, since the Mk update) and thus giving a faulty score. This issue could be solved in about ten minutes, but to this day, Alternativa rather annoys players and customers than investing these ten minutes in changing the values from the M-system to the Mk-system, and updating battle modes.

(5) In the game modes row, the graphic symbols for SGE mode and TJR mode are not properly displayed. This issue exists since the last game mode change, it looks horribly amateurish and would require only a few letters in the code to properly reference the source to solve. However, it looks like nobody felt that it should be done to this day.

(6) The bottom gifts row by its very existence points every player and customer to the fact that the html5 version of the game still lacks a feature which the dying Flash version of the game was cherished for. Best would be to add this feature including existing gifts into the html5 version, though if Alternativa's programming skills are inadequate to do so, then at least keep up your public image, and do not point people to your nature as a programming failure, by removing that row from profile pages.

Updating the profile pages this way would be the most efficiently spent programmer hours in the history of the enterprise.

 

Dear mods, there are a number of things I kindly ask you not to do now:

(a) Please do not bury this topic by moving it deep into whatever existing thread. I did check the existing forum topics thoroughly, and I came to the informed decision that in line with both the purpose and the rules of this forum, this new topic is warranted. Please to not override, and let us have a discussion.

(b) You will probably not all be able to withstand the urge to tell me that profile pages were irrelevant and that people who care for them were idiots, as usually at least one of you does under thus complaints. I strongly disagree with this claim in substance, and the persistent mentions of one or more of these points across the forum should give you pause to think about replying to such substantial complaints with insults, as some of you have so often done in the past.

(c) Yes, I did read the argument a thousand times, that the profile pages will eventually be integrated into the html5 version of the game, so there allegedly were no need to update them. However, the consequences of reality are based on the facts of reality and not on fantasy. It is not necessary to once more reply to a substantial complaint about the facts of reality with a fantasy.

(d) Yes, I did read the argument a thousand times, that the coders are so busy improving the game that they just cannot spare the two hours to update the profile pages. I would kindly point out that measuring the efficiency of business decisions is about comparing effort and gain. And it certainly is unimaginable to get so much gain with so few effort as spending two hours with an update of profile pages would achieve. Please spare me the "coders are too busy" story.

However, as you buried this post of mine, you might want to answer the substance of it in this graveyard here as well. For years, forum moderators used to reply to complaints about the dire state of the profile pages with ridicule for the complaining players and customers, and occasionally with the claim that "very soon" profiles would be integrated into the game itself, so that fixing the existing profile pages were no priority. As this latter argument apparently is not only weak (the existing pages are appreciated much by many, and fixing them would only be a very small effort) but also is patently false, is there anything left other than ridicule for the players and customers?

It would be such a great show of professionalism in forum moderation if you would now spend your attention not with seeking reasons to delete my comment, but rather with answering it in substance. But my hopes on this are not high.

so... youre telling me. that. the lead. developer. of this game. does not know a feature that is pretty big exists? All of a sudden friday "balance" updates make sense. like WHAT THE HELL????

I am sure that @Opex-Rah knows the profile pages exist, he just does not care about them at all. So I am trying to raise awareness that many players and customers do care, some of them even very much so (for example, I know several whales aka high paying customers who do huge amounts of data analysis with their own and other profiles), and kindly ask to take the less than two coding hours necessary to fix them.
